Yup, gimme a few minutes. I love Liang Jie's acting you can feel the change in character the moment she says Yi Huai gege. Well I'm not even sure if Tan Er is really back.

@Renaro Kopique I watched the interview with the previous director of S1 before, he also praised Liang Jie for her portrayal as Tan-er and Jing xin. He said these 2 ladies worked really hard and hardly complained about their crazy filming process. The director even feels a bit unfair for XZL getting much more fame than LJ. Did u know that Jing Xin initially went for Xiao Tan's role casting? She didn't get the role but the director loves her very much for her all-time cheerful personality and she was good and more suitable for Jing xin's role. The director even asked her to be good friend with LJ to create the sisterhood on and off screen which she did, thus making LJ having someone to cling on to around the filming set. During the KL fan meeting, LJ was wearing stiletto and nearly tripped but it was JIng Xin standing by her side, helping her out. It's nice to see their camaraderie spinning out of screen

Wow, I did not know that she also auditioned for the main role.

 

I'm going to be honest, when I watch asian dramas I am usually irritated with the female characters which is why I'm not usually drawn to the actresses. It's just that they give these girls such stupid roles where those characters have such low EQ, are weak, become mary sue, or can't control their temper plus are actually dumb. And for once we get to see such a strong female lead in the EQ aspect of Xiao Tan in Liang Jie's acting. She has her pride, knows her bottom line, is not dependent on men and cherishes her friend Jing Xin well. I know people hated her because they couldn't stand 2 souls in one body especially saying that Tan Er is boring. I actually liked Tan Er, she is cool in her own way. Plus, they said that Xiao Tan's character is so dumb and inconsiderate. Liang Jie's skills got overshadowed by XZL because of Princess Agent. But i also think Princess Agent fans are also one factor that helped this drama gain attention.

I'm gonna see how Liang Jie is in Handsome Siblings once it is out. 

Not like I'm hating on anyone, they both did well. Even in this season, XZL did such a great portrayal of his own self and I can immediately tell who is who. I also love it when co stars can befriend each other not only doing it for the sake of work but to improve their social life.

I think I've died and gone to heaven with those behind the scenes clips! I squeeled like there was no tomorrow when XZL was teasing Liang Je about the stripping scene! Gosh it's almost the end. I'm going to miss this two and their awesome chemistry. You never know monchoo there friendship might be something more, but then again it's just wishful thinking on my part! Sigh!

Ikr, I was shocked. I just came to check the views or teasers and they uploaded those already. I am more shocked that Tan Er came back. I really thought she died man. Indeed, it's cute but I can't get over the fact that she keeps touching his chest.

For some reason, I can't see the clips from your links but I have seen deleted scenes on youtube and I assume it's the same. There is an auction going on, and his business partner (who is obviously interested in him) was trying to play victim, but he rebuffed the partner, and proceeded to kiss XT in front of everyone. The auction went on while they kissed, and then someone bidded 30 million just as XT sort of "woke up" from the daze of being kissed, and as she tried to slap him, he grabbed her hand and raised it, pretending to be bidding 50 million.

Yes, they did a voice over for him, because his original voice is deemed to be unsuitable for the character. He is actually quite young and his voice is also not very deep, but MLC's character is supposed to be cold and haughty and of royal blood, so I guess his original voice somehow doesn't match that image.

Xiang Tan and Xiao Tan are the same person. After Xiang Tan died she was born as Xiao Tan in another world as punishment. Chinese novels are so damn confusing with its genres and elements. Since this has some sort of immortality and cultivation but as a clan in the Xuan Ling World I am not sure how the system of being reborn works as it is different from the normal immortality of mortals and deities to drink the forgetful soup to be reborn as this is entirely a different set up world by the author..

 

Regardless, XT will always be in danger due to her identity as the owner of the Soul Suppressing Orb. Idk if all stories will revolve around that orb lol because that thing is the one that's creating all this mess.

I think I was combining your comment with another poster's comment, but got cut off and had to retype. I kinda re-skimmed beginning and end of S1 and beginning S2. I guess the biggest hint is the "time travel" an "parallel worlds". End of S1 says now how will MLC survive in this new world and what will become of their love story? So I'm guessing it originally was supposed to be the ending, but also had a chance left open to have S2. S2 also attempts to pick up from where S1 left off...though I'm so confused about the soul hunters. I understand they were after XT b/c of the orb, but now that the demon king is dead where did they come from and who was the one controlling them? 

 

It makes sense now when you bring up the cultivation/reborn thing. And seeing the latest preview, looks like Tan Er came back? Maybe? O_O? I kind of missed Tan Er. The where is "Tan Er's" soul bothers me, unless she really died....
