Omo! What a passionate kiss for the 1st episode. Is this the norm for Dramax's dramas as its previous drama, WL has kisses galore. But I'm not complaining.

The plot is fast moving and I'm loving our OTP's chemistry already. Impressed with our main lead actress already. CJH as usual delivers his role well. For once I get to watch Hoya in a less serious role. Cant wait for tonight's episode!

 

Super glad that it is subbed by DramaFever as the previous drama, WL was very badly subbed by Viiki (late in subbing with many missing parts).

Hi @gladys57...great to see you here. Yes first epi was fast...leads were good .....chemistry was good...and kisses too. I think cable channels are not very strict with the skinship rules....For me , I just want a couple who's dating to actually act like they are dating....like CH and ST did in Witch's Love.

I've only seen tvn, jtbc and big 3 do that.... smaller channels like MBN and dramax might not...but who knows sometimes 1080 versions are released later...even weeks later....at least for torrents. I found UHD version of Stranger months after it finished.

Oh wow....after 3 years the first thing he remembers next day is meeting GB again

Pity he didn't write anything about her in the diary....and now he's confused as heck...as to who she is....

Luckily GB's stupidity/unbelievable innocence is going strong and her boss posted her video online  and MS found out everything about her past and present situation pretty quickly. I'm glad her cordi is still her friend...as least I assume its her....and I'm also glad her friend agrees with me that GB is stupid...trusting people like her shady director.... ...you tell her, girl.

MS order 100 sets of clothes from her website mall and makes her deliver it in person.....just to get confirmation that he could no way have anything to do with a woman like her. 

I have to say no matter how much I'm criticizing GB's naivety but when she gets serious she's awesome. Her eyes full of pain when she realizes he doesn't remember her....facing his disdain bravely when she accepts his money and also accepts his offer to take back the clothes he paid for as a payment for making her come to him just to satisfy his curiosity.

 

One thing I noticed MS house is dark coz of his eyes, I guess but also full of boxed in spaces....its just like his life, boxed up into daily routines. And for the first time he broke that routine to go after GB coz he just couldn't get her out of his head. He struggled though.....to just let himself forget her next day or go after her and resolve why he felt pain whenever he recalled her hurtful expression. 

Finally she asked him why he never came that day.....with all the anger and hurt she had bottled up for 3 years.

But now she's even more hurt that the man she thought she fell in love with.....not only did he not keep his promise but he didn't even consider her worth remembering. MS's problem here is he didn't make it clear why he can't remember her. Just gave her a choice to decide whether she wants him to remember her tomorrow or not. She told him to forget everything about her. But seems he doesn't coz preview for the next epi shows he's pretty much shadowing her everywhere she goes.

I also loved GB's family....they looked like a nice, close family. Her little sister is smart...her brother is caring...her father is a drunk but seems to love all his children. MS's cousin seems to have taken it upon himself to rescue his first love GB. Making MS finance his production is going to back fire on him, poor thing.

We got more info on the case 3 years ago....no idea what was said about the death...but the guy who died was said to be a very popular hallyu star....and GB is still getting hate from his fans. Also the dirty manager guy who planned with the dead guy to drug GB is now managing the second lead....thats why in some character charts it shows GB is concerned for her. 

Anyways, I loved this episode more than the first.....we got fast plot development after MS remembered GB...the pace is making me wonder ...is this drama 12 episodes too?

I had no idea what ratings MBN use to have so, I've search and, for example, Witch's love first episode rating was 2,3. 

As you say, hopefully DJ will increase soon. 

 

I haven't watched the first episode yet, but as I can read, there's a lot of comments about how funny it has been. I thought it would be more serious, but I much prefer it like this.

Reposting my first impressions here after watching the premiere!
I really like Choi Jin Hyuk and Song Ha Yoon and wanted to see them in another drama. I’ve actually only seen them in one drama previously. First episode was great and held my attention well. Loved the whirlwind romance scenes. The leads were so sweet and cute. ^^ A little cringy, but had me squeeing. The dramatic plot device was jarring to say the least…. Heads up, there is a TOD. D:< The overall plot is very intriguing though.

 

I haven't watched a MBN drama before, but the video quality seemed a bit low at times. I'm sad that MBN may be a lesser known cable channel though.

I just watched half of the first episode during my lunch break and it had me thoroughly engaged. I can’t believe this couple was able to pull me in just like that when there was no build up. I don’t know much about them but their interaction attracted me from the moment he decided to help her escape the gang of thugs. How can I be moved by a kiss between practically strangers? There’s just something about these two that draws me in. 

 

I was disgusted by that celebrity who drugged her drink. I didn’t see much further than that (lunch break is up) so I’ll have to continue later to find out Joy’s fate and the doctor’s fate after the accident. Somehow their meeting reminds me of An Affair to Remember.

The beginning did sorta seem fast for the two leads, but I still liked it. The main storyline is in the present.

Love the actress when she was on Fight My Way. Her character here is a typical damsel in distress, while Choi Jin-Hyuk's a babe. 

 

However there's the usual cheesy lines..the cliche tropes & now it's given a new term. It's not just plain amnesia but Cinderella Amnesia 

 

Treading on this drama cautiously as it normally doesn't always meet up to par expectations. Will keep watching though

Eep. I have nothing profound to say except that the male lead is so hunky. And she was so delicate and pretty. I laughed in disbelief then enjoyed it.

 

I am starting Life which is very serious. Then Devilish Joy which has another neurosurgeon at an improbable age to be a world authority on whatever area he is in.

 

Life has been sucky at work and I need a straight rom com. Hope these 2 dramas have the correct balance. Ii had forgotten how nice CJH's voice sounds like. And how broad his shoulders are. And I chuckle even as I write at how neurosurgeons are normally tired and have eye bags. Hahaha. Gotta love Korean dramas and their idealized version of a male hero. So so hunky.

 

Going to enjoy my romance drama while it lasts. I did read that the scripts were written early right? So no idiotic plot changes.

I finished watching the first two episodes. Glad it’s on DramaFever so I didn’t have to wait for subs. 

 

I’m loving the expanded cast including MS’ cousin and his secretary. I do wonder if MS’ aunt is trustworthy. It seems like all the people that surround him report to her about him. I don’t know what to make of that just yet but I’m getting certain vibes which I hope doesn’t mean anything too troublesome.

 

About MS, I wonder if the way he acts now is his personality. I mean, he is generous by the way he gives into his cousin and lends his secretary money but the way he talks to GB is harsh. Yet, after their initial meeting in Hainan, he really was kind to her even going as far as canceling his flight to prevent leaving her alone in a foreign place without her phone and money. Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing how they progress because I know GB is pretty ticked off and hurt by him right now. I wonder how long it will take her to find out that he loses his memory everyday though I suppose he will probably remember her every day though maybe not the details because he couldn’t remember he met her at the hospital. He only remembered the image of her. 

 

Anyway, loving this drama and I’m also looking forward to the resolution of the mystery behind the death of that celebrity from three years ago.

Right? I hope so too. At least he knew that the dead celebrity and the manager were plotting against Ki Beum. I really don’t understand how the celebrity ended up dead though unless he was involved with people whom he crossed. Ki Beum was obviously drugged and out of it so something must have happened in the room while she was unconscious.

I can’t rule out the manager, he had things to hide obviously.. I’m sure there will be others I will suspect as time goes by but he is first on my list since he set the whole thing up..

Completely agree because he’s shady and more. It looks like he’s still around so it makes sense that he’s a prime suspect. Could be he was just playing along with the dead celebrity but had other plans to get rid of him that night.

Yeah, I also agree that the manager is a possible culprit behind the death of Min Hyung Joon. I was ticked off to see him again in the present, but as a CEO now?! I can't wait to see Gi Bbeum rise from the bottom and have a fantastic comeback. ;]

 

Ma Sung's aunt does give off a bad vibe too. And so does Dr. Yoon. (LOL so many shady ppl!?) I have a bad feeling towards Dr. Yoon after he told the nurses to change the channel when news about Ma Sung was airing. This happened in EP 1. It was a little strange to see him do that, but he could be still be a neutral character.

 

Gi Bbeum is a classic candy-type character, but she was pretty tough in the 2nd episode so I like her. I like rooting for the underdogs.

Eeee... 2 episodes and I am already squealing. I like the actress. She comes across as strong rather than downtrodden. I am not sure if I like anyone near GMS. Even his secretary is not loyal

 

I am going to have to Google his condition. I am unsure if anyone with acquires brain injury can regain memories. Especially since he is functional already for the last 3 years. Applying logic to a Kdrama hurts my brain. Especially considering he should either be a neurologist with a medical degree. Or a PhD in Neuroscience. Since it is a relatively uncommon degree much more than psychology. So the character description confuses me. I understand what a neurologist is.

 

Either way as long as he is not a genius who cares. As long as the plot moves along. It's not as if I am here for his brains. Lol.
