I heard the movie name but I didn’t know much about it.    I’m glad to read you would like to check out this drama because of the movie.   ‘Devilish Joy’ is a pre-produced drama so it will be awhile (hopefully not too looong wait…)  before we can see it.     If the drama is similar to the movie synopsis,  then kdrama- 50 first dates are redressed with all those kdrama cliché.  haha   Hope this drama shows a whip lashing of devilish joy in falling-in-love.

Former After School member Lee Joo Yeon is joining the cast of a new drama!

 

On June 7, Lee Joo Yeon’s agency confirmed that she’s taking a role in the upcoming drama “Diabolic Happiness” (working title). She’ll be playing Lee Ha Im, an A-list actress who is also the only child of a rich family.

 

Current cast members for the drama include Choi Jin Hyuk, Song Ha Yoon, and Lee Ho Won (Hoya). The drama tells the story of a genius doctor named Gong Ma Sung (Choi Jin Hyuk) who has “Cinderella Memory Disorder” and falls in love with formerly popular actress Joo Ki Bbeum (Song Ha Yoon).

 

Lee Joo Yeon recently signed with Mystic Actors, the acting division of Mystic Entertainment. She has appeared in dramas such as “Smile Donghae,” “Jeon Woo Chi,” “A New Leaf,” and “The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law,” and films such as “Sorry, I Love You, Thank You” and “The King.”

Okay  this man made an appearance as an extra in DJ airport shooting(which shows Joo Gi-Bbeum (Song Ha Yoon) surrounded with fans).   It seems he became an accidental extra (though voluntary) while he was in the airport on a vacation to the Philippines.  He sounds amused and yet excited.  I guess he never expected to see he would become a hollering fan. haha    He is in end of the clip with a red shirt.   He is an owner of some kind of outlet store/or franchise?

Actors Choi Jin Hyuk and Song Ha Yoon will be teaming up for a new Dramax drama!

 

On May 4, a source from the drama department stated to news outlet Ilgan Sports, “Choi Jin Hyuk and Song Ha Yoon will be working together as the male and female leads of the drama ‘Diabolic Happiness’ [working title]. Filming will start this month.”

The drama is being produced by Golden Thumb Pictures and written by Choi Ji Yeon, and will be broadcast simultaneously on Dramax and ihq.

It is a romantic comedy about a genius doctor named Gong Ma Sung (played by Choi Jin Hyuk) who suffers from “Cinderella Memory Disorder” and falls in love with formerly popular actress Joo Ki Bbeum (Song Ha Yoon). Its title also appears to be a play on the characters’ names, as it could also be interpreted as “Ma Sung’s Ki Bbeum” or “Ma Sung’s Happiness.”

It’s said that both of the actors received offers to star in the drama last year, and waited a long time because they believed in the work. A representative of Choi Jin Hyuk stated, “After he first received the script, he liked the story and character so he quietly waited.”

This will be the first drama in a year for both leads, with Choi Jin Hyuk last appearing in OCN’s “Tunnel” and Song Ha Yoon in KBS’s “Fight My Way.” The new drama will air sometime in the second half of the year.
