-Even the supporting character, Hyeon-Young, played and brought up her dream for actress, eventually she got the starring character. This one says that LDW and Hyun Young have just started filming the movie "The Strongest Romance" on the 17th. The movie is a romantic comedy between the hot-blooded Hyung-Sa (LDW) and clumsy but lively Ki-Ja (Hyun Young). Because of their job, they're forced to work together at a newspaper office on a project, and start off on the wrong foot (disliking each other). The filming supposedly started off favorably and LDW and Hyun Young surprised people by giving off an impression of familiarity. I don't know if I completely got the translation for this part, but something about how LDW promised he'd work hard to be an actor who appears at least 100 more times, and Hyun Young promised to work 100 times harder than if it was her first leading role. The film will be filming for about two and a half more months.

Lee Dong Wook is going hard-core into practicing for his action scenes... His role is both tough and romantic and he'll be doing a lot of action scenes. So, he's going to the Seoul Action School and is learning martial arts. He's recently injured his finger while practicing, and although it hasn't been long since taking off the cast, he goes out every day to the action school. They're going to start filming the action scenes next month, so until then, whether he has to film that day or not, he goes out to the action school to practice, in order to raise his skill level. It repeats some of the info from before, about the romantic comedy elements between LDW and HY. It's the second project from director Kim Jung Woo, who debuted with "Gu Se Joo."

Okay, so this one says a lot of the same things as before, and has just a few more details. LDW and Hyun Young take on the roles of Hyung Sa (LDW) and Ki Ja (HY), who disguise themselves as journalists in the movie "Strongest Romance," which started filming in Seoul on the 17th. With the appealing casting of LDW and HY, interest has gathered in "Strongest Romance", and on location there's already a bit of a feeling that there's something unusual and momentous going on.

From the outset of filming, they started with a shaky reunion scene between Kang Hyung Sa (LDW) and Choi Ki Ja (HY). Hyung Sa and Ki Ja first meet because their jobs force them to work together (something they're both not happy about) at a newspaper office where they're doing something about a reality program dealing with arresting criminals. From the very first filming, the two actors had to perform the difficult task of acting out the subtle psychological warfare that the two characters engage in, but nevertheless LDW and HY were ready for the task, their acting making it difficult to believe these two had only just met, and even received applause from the staff who had been holding their breath. After completing the first bit of filming, LDW and HY were surprised to hear they both had the same impression that their first scene had a feeling of unrushed familiarity.

[Okay, this paragraph is a little difficult because there's a phrase I can't seem to translate, but basically he's saying that with his first film "Arang," he had a certain level of response, and with this project he's promising to do even better. The exact phrase that is confusing me is 무대인사, which I think means something like the number of stage bows he gave... with Arang, he did it 80 times, and with "Strongest Romance," he laughingly shouts out that he'll do it 100 times at least.]

And Hyun Young promises that she will work 100 times harder on this film, and hopes it'll be a hit.

From the opening of "Strongest Romance," it makes you curious to see how the rather formidable mental battling between Kang Hyung Sa and Choi Ki Ja will develop into romance. The film is scheduled to shoot for the next two and a half months.

Those two people have been cast as secondary characters in the movie... The guy is Jang Hyun Sang, who seems to be a well-respected actor whose previous image was calm and gentle. In "Strongest Romance," he completely sheds that image as the boss of a drug-ring organization that the detective, LDW, is chasing. His character is portrayed as pretty rotten, but his "evil acting" comes across with a lot of appeal. It's an important role, and one that shows off a wide acting range for Jang, and in making the action confrontation scenes the best they can be, LDW is working very hard to practice at an action school, which he is approaching with a lot of enthusiasm. The action scenes are supposedly really appealing.

The woman pictured is Jeon Su Kyung, who's known for acting in musicals. Her role is as a colleague of HY's character, and she's an entertainment reporter whose character has a lot of comic elements, and the two women's comic talents work well together.

It's pretty much the same info as before, confirming casting for the movie. A little more info about the characters: Hyun Young plays Choi Su Jin, a lively but kind of clumsy female reporter who dresses plainly and barely wears any makeup. LDW plays Kang Jae Hyuk, a tough but romantic and hot-headed (hot-blooded?) detective, and they constantly bicker and fight as they fall in love. The only other information they have on the second leads is that musical actress Jeon Su Kyung plays Choi's reporter colleage and Jang Hyun Sung plays the crime boss being chased by Detective Kang.

LDW foregoes Mooncake Festival for "Romance" (27/09/2006)

Despite the coming of the Mooncake Festival, LDW and Hyun Young still cannot rest as they have to continue filming their new movie. As they have to finish a particular scene before it turns winter, both of them already know they have to forgo the festival and work thru out the festival. HY mentioned that she would love to attend shows celebrating the festival but the movie progress was more important.

Filming progress, 30% of the movie has been completed.

어떤 상황이든 잠은 꼭 집에서 잘 정도로 가족애가 깊은 이동욱과 최근 건강 상태가 좋지 않아 휴식이 필요한 현영의 이같은 결정은 두 배우가 <최강로맨스>에 가진 애정이 얼마만큼 큰 지 잘 보여준다.

It says that LDW always goes home to spend the night with his family (with whom he has a close relationship), no matter what his situation is, so the fact that he and HY (who actually needs the vacation because her physical condition hasn't been that good lately) are working so hard and giving up their holiday shows how strong their devotion to the film.

Hi FuryPig, no, this has not been released yet. This is his newest project that he's doing right now. Can't wait to see this, too after Arang.

i like how the title sounds already ^^ LDW has so much charm on screen ;] It'll be fun to see him in another movie. Arang was kind of depressing, but okay to watch. I really liked his character in My Girl. Hopefully this one will have a sweet charcter like Sul Gong Chan ^____^ aja!
