Just dropping in for a quick share of what I've just read! KAJ's latest interview!

KAJ said that thanks to KNG who made the filming atmosphere very happy and she was also able to film happily.  It was very fun and happy to film with KNG.  

 

About the kiss scene, KAJ said rather than who was leading, we just did it naturally.  We talked about it before filming and decided that if someone led, it would become awkward.  She said that the dialogue and the circumstances of the kiss was good and during filming, people also said "This is something only an oriental doctor could do." 

 

 

 

So the original acupuncture kiss first shown on ep12..

But then, when Hoe Im was treating his patient and touch the seungjang a.k.a saliva container point, he remembered the kiss..

But then you realize it wasn't the exact same kiss shown earlier.. 

 

 

And then ep16, our OTP remember their moments and they show the acupuncture kiss again with extended shot from ep12. 

 

And then you realize, you'll never know how may takes/shots they took for the NATURAL acupunture kiss since TvN doesn't give us the kiss bts and you can only hope the DVD blu-ray thingy will happen as soon as possible..

Wanna give some analysis @lyserose ? Hehehe. 

I haven't read all the news ... but I conclude:

- She really admires him a lot.. lot ... lot... We can see it by her gaze in most HI & YK scenes.

- She then had a crush on him during pre-prod until the shooting time ended.

- KNG knows she admires him (oh, come on! He's a sensitive man, right?) but because the first episodes their characters were bickering (a process to understand someone else's character), so they're not close to each other. In press con, he said KAJ scolded him on the set.

- KNG was being serious around her in shooting set, the situation was different when he acted alone because he respects her (after a couple months doing survey and discussing the script...finally he understands her real character).

- Even in an interview with Park Kyung-lim (we watch it together in this thread), KNG complemented her ... looking good in hanbok (pink) as PKL also gave the same comment...he knew she's not confident wearing hanbok.

- Then come 'love scenes'...KAJ said she was YK who fell in love and YES...she fell in love with KNG  it is so obvious.

- KNG is also an actor who will be immersed into the character. He opened to all KAJ's ideas in every scenes...  tra-la-la... the great chemistry happened.

- Kiss scene was natural...and that's what actual feeling between KNG & KAJ. Beautiful. I wonder whether the director gave them some time from the beginning until the end of the scene 

- They are best friends now...respect to each other (can be developed into romantic relationship)

- They both found a sincere partnership.

- The story line made them thinking about their real life. They channeled it into the characters. KNG in Guerilla Date interview said 'it is an easy drama' because he didn't need to pretend so much to be someone else. This is what I meant @3z3zm3lp Some lines are directed to their real life matters.

- BTS ep 11 ...they realized they're attracted to one another.

- BTS ep 15... because the sad story line and HI&YK's feeling grew deeper... they became fully aware of their own feelings.

Omgoodness so much goodies while I was gone !!! That kiss scene tho  yes we can all totally tell it was natural!!!! Thank u KAJ for doing that interview! Now if only our KNG can take the time to do it in btwn his movie filming... jehballlllll!

@martanur yes chingu, I now get it  No wonder they really connected because they became the characters  and their real life experiences helped a lot too.

 Just like YK, KAJ had little much going  on in the relationship department.  

Just wondering now, were they really required to go to that extent of an intense kiss?:D did they discuss it before hand that it will be an open mouthed type of kiss? Okay, where’s the fan?

Kim Ah Joong is one of few people who can genuinely pull off anything and everything she wears. I don't remember seeing a picture of her where I thought her clothes didn't look good on her.  I'm jealous of her, ugh.  Girl crush poom poom, indeed!

Thanks for the invitation to analyse @martanur

- KAJ is a libra woman and as far as character trait, a libra is generally very upfront. So this interview sounds like a no hold bar from her.

- Confirmed. She has a crush on KNG as far back as when they started filming (maybe before). 

- Can I say she likes sexy man? Since she said she did not watched QSD, instead probably developing her crush and attracted by KNG's charm in Shark and Bad Guy (he was super hot and super seductive in here).

- KAJ indirectly admitted that what we watched towards the later half is KAJ falling in love. She said she feel "happy" when HI & YK love line developed which also meant she no longer had to keep a distance from KNG, in fact growing closer. And again, I wish to mention the cable car hug in episode 15. The way she threw back her head and let him nuzzled to her when they hug really felt too real for a drama couple PDA.

- KNG is aware of her crushing on him. I can't analyze much on him since it is not him speaking out here. But it's a bit peculiar that he acted differently around her than with the rest? 

- Based on KAJ latest and past interviews, she gave me an impression of being a feminist. Here I understand why she feels attracted to KNG. Because as she said, he was very welcoming and supportive of her ideas which made their collaboration an equal partnership instead of being a dominant one.

- You guys better pray hard that she win Best Actress at Seoul Drama awards because I am certain she is going to give a shoutout to KNG. I have not read any other actress interviews that expressed so much gratitude towards her male lead as KAJ did.

- So the hot kiss was a natural one with both parties just doing it going with the flow? So... PD-nim just told these two to either "kiss" or "make out"? and god knows which one they opted for. So they discussed and KNG decided to go for really deep kiss till he went out of breath? And the lip biting? Oh god....I DIE.

- Oh, and can I say that she is hinting to the writer and PD to make LUTYN season 2. 

 

Ok...anything I left out? 

 

On a side note, why is KNG's camp so silent when his comeback drama is a sleeper hit, a surprise success?????

Then the scene where she asking whether she look funny in hanbok would be also adlib. Or whole that scene between them and the kid are adlib.

All these interviews are REALLYYY GOOD TREATS TO ALL OF US after alll that lack of promo!    Now, what we need are interviews from KNG toooo!  heheheehe!

 

And THANK YOUUU all chingus who are tirelessly sharing and translating KAJ's interviews~~all of you are AMAZING! Am LOVING EVERY BIT to pieces, especially ones she talks abt KNG! In particular, this one quoted above because it shows how WELL THEY MATCH each other in terms of work (other than already being perfect just by standing next to one another ). Its so great to know that she could comfortably share her ideas and thoughts with him and he receives them openly, which went a long to putting her at ease and allowed her to perform in the way we have not seen before -- there's an entirely different glow on her in LUTYN. KNG really brought the best out of her!  He's definitely a contributing factor to making my girl crush on KAJ bigger 

 

And the best part for me in their partnership is that the positivity is mutually reinforcing. Both shone ever brighter than before. By KNG drawing out the best in KAJ, it also goes to show how great of an actor he is! Easygoing and funny, which makes filming all the more enjoyable among the cast, but at the same time serious with his work and delivers above expectations. Oh, and not to mention how interesting it is that he's not overly conscious about his looks and appearance, evidence by the fact he shows up on set in sweat shirt and sweat pants. In one of his earlier movie interviews, someone mentioned that he really likes to wear tracksuits to film sets and does it regularly . I find this very fascinating and admirable because it shows that he's actually quite a simple and down to earth guy in real life. And that he's more concern on his acting performance rather than looking good.

 

Okay....its CERTIFIED -- my double crush for both KAJ and KNG has gone another level deeper 

 

EDIT:

Forgot to mention earlier, the glow on KAJ is the same glow I see in Song Hye Kyo when she was filming DOTS with SJK.
