Last night im watching Infinity challenge 459 where siwan came as guest to help kwanghee became a good actor, because he was bad at acting:D

all this times I thought script only written as what writer want actors to says in scene. But i notice, writer also included detail on their script, like using low tone or high tone, waiting for few second to jump at another sentence etc, it was written on script so actors can deliver the lines very well.

So i dont think we all talk nonsense about direction and detail from actors or actress, when they are doing their scenes, to deliver messages to viewers who watch the show.

as for me, im siwan is really excellent actor especially in this drama, which make me sure that he did deliver his lines very well. as packmule3 said, won only jealous at rin, not his woman san. As he trust his woman will never betraying or cheat on him. We both agree that won probably know san loving him back, even when san in denial :D

for Ending tkil, with or without yoona interview. I still think it was open end or it was won who left san lol.

1. Mbc written Jobi name on their post about king chungseon love story. If won leaving his throne and going to yuan, he probably came to met san as his jobi. Writer also following korean real history in tkil, which make me sure the open ending was settle for happy ending to wonsan couple, a couple month after won left the throne.

Won narration: "she remind me of bird. She takes flight and leaves so easily, without looking back. And so i am making an aviary. For my bird, its so big, she doesnt know it exists and so beautiful, she will not want to leave it. That day, my bird parked itself for a moment among the red flowers. Which was in full bloom everywhere. The moment i saw her smile, i knew i would end up throwing everything away to have her. I may have to abandon my friend and my self. I will end up leaving everything behind. But, i could not help my self. That day. The day when we smiled with agony. Lasted only for short moment"

in his narration, we can interpret that won knows that he will end up leaving everything behind, to have san. His woman, eunsan love him as the happy hancheon (she want him to be happy) so san might dislike wang won living in the palace, because he became different person.

this statement also supported by Im siwan interview, he said "san doesnt like won like this" which im sure, he was talking about "hancheon" and "wang won".

In My POV,won need to leave his throne, to be happy with san or (maybe) with rin too.

that is why we can saw the last scene where both happily playing on azaleas field, and there is painting 3 of them on won chamber as their happy moment :D

Another option of the ending:

2. According yoona interview, she said won supposed to be leaving yuan with rin and san too, but he leave rin and san behind choose traveling alone. And yoona added so because of won leaving them, and yeah the ending is rinsan couple. Her statement came from her conclusion about won leaving them. (This article is popular article compare, when she said she love rin blablabla, if im not wrong some article related who san love was deleted from reporter, since the final episode was open ending. I remember i got deleted link too)

in My POV, if won did left both rin & san behind. Yes, its also same with  gone with the wind movie, where rhett choose to leave scarlet o'hara.

And rhett said to her: "frankly my dear, i don't give a richard simmons" lol

i just recently watching gone with the wind, and my close friend told me she was big fan of the movie, she explained to me about rhett and scarlet love story. She said scarlet did love rhett but she was hesitated because rhett well known as rich guy and playboy. That why she always end up rooting for another man, ashley (her obssesion before meeting rhett butler).

(To be noted,we (wonsan) brought "gone with the wind" because san character based on scarlet o'hara. Mbc release it with hastag #scarleto'hara goryeo, on their post at naver mbc tkil blog)

so, i think if won left san and going to yuan by himself, it was because he ........... (you can fill this with your own imagination) the one who lose is san, Not wang won.

Anyway, i prefer no 1 than no 2. Because i trust im siwan understand the whole story, about him and his love. While yoona always stated she was confuse about who is the one she love from her interview before and after drama. So i think she doesnt really understand her character, since she said she always came to writer and asked something @.@

@seogwangnim welcome ai! You are free to talk about imimcouple here, since this thread was made for wonsan and siwan&yoona couple. :D

@Kissy13 wows, nice catch !!! I was mad because teacher lee comment. Now i understand he love to use "idiomatic expression" lol

@packmule3 i was debate on other website, with rinsan lovers, but in the end she said something related eye contacts and silent gazes.i feel like im done talking with her. LOL

in my teen days i love the silent gaze and eye contacts with the one i like most or my crush. but as im growing to be adult, im not buying that kind romance. I want to spend the rest of my life with someone like wang won LOL

Okay. off to be silent lurker :D

Wait a second, @bebe1989. I have silly body part posts coming up. hahaha. Just looking for gifs. grrrrr....

Okay, here we go....

While other fake couples are exchanging eye contacts and longing looks (totally one-sided!), our OTP is exchanging something uniquely theirs.

Spoiler

snot and spit.

KrCQtAE.jpg

I thought Won's revenge here was very subtle. He was teasing her of course. He wanted her to be as grossed out as he was when she wiped her nose on his sleeve.

How cute is that???

I melt like chocolate every time our romantic hero notices dirt on her face. What a guy!!! What an oppa!

FEaOlBa.jpg

The lips are still one of the most erogenous areas of a woman’s body. Even lightly touching will elicit tingly feelings. And here Oppa’s thumb is caressing our Yoona’s lips! ooooohemmmgeeee!! my feelssss!!! Oppa's thumb is perfect!

His touch sets of a cascade of nerve connections fluttering between the brain and the skin. Muscles clench and chemicals like oxytocin are released from the brain to increase feelings of attachment and desire.

Then her cheeks begin to blush and her breathing deepens. She becomes aware of his physical closeness which intensifies her shyness. In a cluttered room, during the middle of the day, while doing the most mundane tasks, the atmosphere between them is as sensual as a moonlit caper.

It’s a good thing our smart Won breaks up the heat with a joke.

And this wasn’t the first time he noticed dirt on his face. He did it too in the cave. He tried to rub off the dirt on her cheek, too. See?

Hahahaha. End of spoof body part post.  Tagging @YourHighness .

Moving on to the following episodes:

I noticed another differences between Won and Rin.  Won always wanted to tell the truth no matter what while Rin liked to hide the truth.  When won was going to tell San that he and Rin were present when the killing happened 8 years ago, Rin said,"Don't tell her.  She deserves to forget things and move on."  But won preferred openness and being honest to San.

Ep. 28.  The scene when WonSan sat on the rock.

Won:  We should come to this place sometimes.

San:  Why are you here?

Won: To get you (Isn't a clear answer?  Yet, San asked:)

San:  Why?  (To me, she was expecting a romantic answer from Won)

Won:  Why?  Your master sent you to help me, and you disappeared.  You made me come for you, and you ask why?

San:  Ah.....(disappointed)  I planned to return shortly.  I just wanted to tell my mother something.

Finally, Won told her that he wanted her to stay beside him.

Won:  I would wait until you see me.  (Did he think that San had done so?  Did won doubt that San had someone else in her mind?

Did San ever hug Rin?  During the mourning of her father, she did lean her head on Rin, but that was it.

Ep. 31

It must have been so painful for Won to hear that Rin and San were about to tie  the knot while Won decided to marry Dan to save Rin's family.  :bawling:

won:  I am the schemer.  He should come to me.  I would have played dirty or been evil to help him.

San told her father that Rin would escort her until she was on-boar. She didn't plan to take Rin along with her.  She regarded him as a fellow traveler.  When Rin proposed to her, she thought of Won.

It is strange.  Now that I have been re-watching and collecting clues on San's feelings towards won, the scene when Rin and San looked at each other shyly didn't affect me much. It is a different feeling.   When I watched it the 1st time, I was like.....What???  Why are there lovey dovey moments between them, while we get nothing of Wonsan from the entire episode.  But then, San's words were stronger than her action, I guess.

-It is not hard to read San's expression.  Look at her expression when she found out from Dan that Won and Dan were getting married that day.  She would have been happy if she didn't have any feelings for Won.  If he was just friend, she would show and congratulate her right away.  But her expression was rather confused and sad.

Ep. 32.  The convo between won and rin about letting Rin and San get married.  (It was one of the most intense scenes, I think)

Rin: Are you going to put her in a cage? You keep her in a cage next to you, giving her water and food.  Will that amuse you that much?

Won: Do you know how much I have sacrificed for you? Do you know......what I must give up for you?  (won gave up marrying San his crown princess, as he married Dan)

There were two different topics of communication between them:

Rin:  Who killed the Minister of Finance?

Won: How dare you stab me in the back?

Rin: Was it the Queen?

Won:  What is it that you want?

Rin:  Did you know about this?

Won:  Is it San, or is it my position?

Rin: What are you talking about?

Won:  You should have been gone to your post as the Inspector General, but you spent a night in a secret meeting with my fathe.  And my half brother Prince Gang Yang was also in that house.  I wonder what you three talked about all night, without me, behind my back.  You should have just asked for it.  I could have given you my position as the Crown Prince at once back when I trusted you.  (Won really nailed it!!)

Ep. 33 (I love ep 33,  there are some wonsan scenes in it.)   Many of you have posted about this episode.  So I am just going to highlight I recently found.

San was the only person Won could open up to.

In the garden.  When Won told San that his father always got suspicious of him.

San: You should have told him that you would never do that and that he need not to do that .

Won:  That would have made no difference.  He had people near him. who wrongly interpreted my intentions.

(Like San and Rin thought of him.  They thought Won locked San up because he loved San, but actually, he just wanted to protect her. )

Won:  I want you to be in my sight so that I can protect you.

(Do you notice when Won held San's hand, her hand clasped his at first (as if they were holding hands)  before she retrieved it?)

Ep.  35 The Queen's death.

Throughout the drama Siwan had shown his best acting skill, but I think he really owned ep. 35.  He showed his most difficult and challenging acting skills.  He was furious, deeply sad, regretful, cold-hearted and vengeful expressions in this one episode.

Ep. 38  The confession

In the forest, San didn't only confess once but twice....the second confession she said,".....I wanted to join in.  After that, I couldn't help but liking you.  (I missed that.)

I don't feel the need to write about the last episodes since we have expounded and shared them.

Conclusion:

As I have posted before, I had a purpose on re-watching TKL.  I was felt so confused and disappointed with the ending .  Plus, we heard that it was Rinsan end game according to Yoona, that san fell in love with rin on the rooftop scene.  I got even more confused.  It seems to me that the writers had been trolling and toying with us by giving us false hopes. I felt cheated by all MBC posters and publications.  So, I was on a mission to find out whom San fell in love with.  I tried to find which scenes I missed showing that San was into Rin.  But I actually found there were tons of proofs otherwise.

So glad I found you and this thread, fellow wonsaners.   We have shared our POVs and those were really insightful and convincing.

Upon re-watching the drama, I now believe and am confident that the writers have implanted san's clues pretty consistently from ep 1-40.  Many of the clues are implicit not everyone can unveil, but they are there.  I have minor problems with rinsan moments and I found that wonsan's outnumbered theirs. I don't understand why they wrote such moments for rinsan, but I am now convinced that Won was the one in San's heart, regardless.   Phew!  I am relieved.  I have ended my journey in finding whom San loved in the drama.

I just re-watched episode 1-6 and to my surprise I found things I didn't pay much attention before.

-When San was entering the cave, Won told Rin that he recognised who San was. While Rin was still bewildered and wondering, Won had figured her out. Indeed, Won had always been one step ahead of Rin.  (Even Rin admitted it).

-San gave out the snowy dew wine to Won.  Actually she wanted to be the one gave the wine because she loved the game so much, but she gave it to Won so he could have an audience with teacher Lee.

Oh girl, you're fast with your re-watch!

One thing I have to add here about the snowy dew wine. She didn't really need to get the wine with Won. Her excuse was the games, right? Won went to get the wine so he could be allowed an audience with Teacher Lee. San went so she would be allowed to continue playing the games.

But her mother's memorial was the next day and after the memorial she usually stayed a month according to her Father to search for Snakeman. She didn't have to retrieve the wine because she wasn't going to have time anyway to play the games. As a matter of fact, had she not gone with Won to get the wine, then she could have traveled to the city on a more leisurely pace. She could have taken two days for the trip, instead of rushing that whole day to get to the memorial in time.

So, she WA indeed lying when she said she didn't recognize Won. She probably remembered him at the same time that he recognized her. But she kept it secret.

Another thing I like about the cave was how Won called her "strange looking." lol. What do you think he meant by that?

From Episode 2

1ww7k4.gif

From Episode 4 at 15:50

uP2Seur.jpg

I thought men were supposed to find the love of their lives pretty but Won called her strange. Even at the dance when her face was half-covered, he was teasing her.

Spoiler

SEgLmt0.jpg

See that? She was going to punch him. That's why I don't buy it that she was intimidated at all by him when he demanded her hand at the dance. lol.

He offered the mask as a gift to her.

Won: This.
San: What is it?
Won: A present.
San: Why?
Won: Just thank me and accept it, will you?

(lol. The girl who didn't know how to receive and the guy who didn't know how to give were exchanging gifts.)

I think this was the first time he admitted to her face that she was pretty.

25LXidy.jpg

lol. The girl who didn't know how to receive compliments (she expected insults) and the guy who didn't know how to give compliments (he always joked around and called her strange) were doing just fine.

Ooops.... It is ep 7 of the short version... So it is ep 4 of the long version....

On the scene that Bi Yeon said,  if the man was good,  San married him,  if not,  BY would marry him.  Bi Yeon asked how he was.  (After her father told her to return to the mountain.)

I noticed something @deandraluv.

Won really hadn't given San a whole lot of things when she complained to BiYeon of a "man who likes to give things." The only significant gift he gave San before Episode 4 was the "authority to kill" him.

kAPmcMS.jpg

For a little bit of context behind Won’s gift, let’s review what happened that day.

Early that day, Won had an audience with Teacher Lee. He asked if it was better for the wolf-dog to be chased away or killed and Teacher Lee replied ambiguously.

That afternoon, to cover-up his session with the Teacher Lee, he met with his Father while faking to be royally drunk. Seeing though his act, his Father warned, in a roundabout way, that if Won were really that stupid as he pretended to be, then he would have been charged for treason.

Late at night, Won encountered San at the tavern. After a whole day pondering whether such a life as his was worth living under constant threat of execution, he gave San the authority to kill him. He thought she would appreciate his gift, but San promptly “fed” to a tavern dog.

Recalling the incident the following day, he was indignant that she valued his gift so little. He didn’t mind Teacher Lee’s response and he didn’t mind his father’s warning but he misunderstood her gesture and thought she was ridiculing him.

He couldn’t be more wrong.  She was in fact upset with him for his reckless hand-out of his own life. She wasn’t mocking him. In fact, she perceived how lonely he must have been to pretend to be so blasé about death and dying. After the accidental tea party with Dan, she explained herself to him, “I was worried you’d give it to someone else if I gave it back to you, so I threw it away. So now, you…can’t die because you want to. Okay?”

In context of giving-and-receiving, San was scolding him too for his unreasonable and excessive gift. Won was right that he didn’t know how to give. Probably because he had not much instance for practice, he didn’t realize that his precious gift could be burdensome to someone like San who was avoiding detection.

On the other hand, San didn’t know herself how to receive a gift properly. Even if her intention was in the right place, donating Won’s “authority to kill” to a waiting dog wasn’t a gracious way of accepting his gift. It took her the next encounter to reassure Won that his existence particularly mattered to her.

Daebak!!!

Remember that very day when she was coming home,  Won planted his men to take care of San?  When she was running of water,  there was a man who gave her water,  when she was attacked, some men protected her and when she ate the steamed buns,  the man (won's undercover  general :D)  insisted that san took out the buns for the journey. But I wonder whether or not  she knew it was Won gave these to her?

The convo after the tea party....

I think she was regretful that she had given it to the dog.   She felt uneasy that she brought it up.   She didn't want to make him sad.

I'm still rewatching Episode 3, unlike @deandraluv who's already done. Here are some of my comments for this episode. I have to upload the pics so it's slow-going for me.

Hints at the OTP.

1. The camera was focused on the bracelet which San would give to Won. She wore it daily. Wearing an item that belongs to the boyfriend or girlfriend is something couples do.

HK66uWG.jpg

2. San was already tipsy. She was lost in reverie so BiYeon waved her hand in front of her face to get her attention. San jokingly asked BiYeon what kind of guy she liked. Guys with big eyes or guys with eyes like slit.

cmg1Ax7.jpg

Then, immediately in the next scene, we see Won peeking out the door with wide eyes.

Tna0l5u.jpg

lol. See? The director was trolling us.

More on Episode 3.

Foreshadowing Rin's jealousy.

yPqoh9f.jpg

Rin’s father was recounting the tale of the jealous young queen who sent away the Wang relatives into exile. "It is difficult for a person with heartache to control oneself.  He was telling Rin that because of jealousy, Rin should also stay clear of the queen. Little did the Father know that Rin would become jealous of his best friend and create havoc himself.

That was why this scene in Episode 20 was important. The Father's words were prophetic.

Spoiler

This is the reason why many of us don’t believe Rin when he said that he loved San since he was 12. If he loved her, then why was he cold and mean?

DBm8qez.jpg

And suspicious of San?

bWB6lH6.jpg

Was he being extra careful because of Won? I'd like to believe that he was conflicted and had divided loyalties.

I like how the director shot this scene.

Spoiler

gEz1RLr.jpg

Rin was talking outside to Won who was bunking in his room. We could only see a dark shadow of Won evoking a looming crisis.

Won: You said that the girl didn’t see that it was you, right?
Rin: Yes
Won: Go to sleep.

After this short conversation came the flashback of his rooftop scene with San. SHE might not have seen through Rin's mask but their rooftop encounter definitely made a strongER impression on Rin. He didn’t reveal to his friend that he was beginning to feel something for San, too.

I think when they met San after her mother's accident, it is possible that Rin liked her then.  But he was always a couple of steps behind.  I think both Won and Rin might have liked her then, but Rin truly forgot her and also wanted to not remember her because of his brothers involvement in it.  Once you acknowledge something, you will have to take responsibility for the other action too.  So, he might have been in denial mode at that time of facing the truth.

Won on the other hand, held her hands, delivered her mother's message, held the mother's hand to receive the message, even sent for physician to come to take care of her and never forgot how he felt incapable of not saving her and the other soldiers from the robbers and assassins.  This left a scar on him and a lesson learnt that you cannot take anything granted (expert soldiers, or incompetent robbers were the two that was described) and have to act judiciously instead of being reckless.  A young age to learn responsibility.

Where was Won when Rin saw the secret face shake that happened between his brother and the snake man?  Was he frantically running around trying to save San 's mother?  Or was he concentrated on her?

San did not forget him either -  She remembered him for the past 8 years, the boy who delivered her mother's last words - some of them that she could not keep true ;  She acted as if she did not know him and she went on the mountain trip because she knew he would follow her even though she had to leave for her mother's memorial.

Hi everyone,

I'm so happy to see all the analysis coming. Haven't been this excited for a drama in awhile. Hahaha I havent read much of the previous post, but it wont be ignored, i will get to it eventually. :)

I just have to post coz I can't wait to share my finding from recent ep.

Ep 13 (25-26)

San practising her martial art in the forest.

Teacher Lee came in.

Teacher Lee : just be one of the two. Either you look up at the stars and dream of your lover, or grow your lower core strength and practise how to take a life. You can't do the two together.

Teacher Lee : I hear you told your father to give you just ten days.
You think you can find your enemy in ten days?

Teacher lee : Give me your answer! I'm getting sleepy

San : the one who comitted the slaughter at sungjukjae is a man with snake tattoo. The one whom he answers to is Song In, the royal secretariat recorder.

Teacher Lee : so you'll go find them, ask them if they killed your mother and if they say 'yes', you'll say 'ah is that So and kill them to avenge your mother's death?

Teacher Lee : Can't you just give up? They've been gone for a long time.

San: what if they haven't left yet?
That day tens of people lost their lives not even knowing why. Their spirits are still lingering around in the after world.

Teacher Lee : how do you know that?

San: my dreams tell me
Because I see it in my dreams

Teacher lee: there's no choice then.
Then you should complete your revenge in ten days.
But in exchange, you'll have to do some work for me.

San : work?

Teacher lee: there's something I promised the Crown Prince.

Teacher lee : Work for me during the day and take care of your business during the night.

Teacher lee : Those TWO - now those you can do TOGETHER.

I actually repeated this scene multiple times and I came to a conclusion that his last line is referring to his opening line.

What do you guys think of the conversation?

Part of me asking myself, Am I reading too much into it? Am I starting to create fanfiction on my own without realising it? Lols

@wildflower

Hi there! Thanks for delurking! I knew you couldn't resist our fun thread about WonSan and the occasional Body Parts.

But you'll have to explain your tweet. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the Mesozoic Era along with the rest of the dinosaurs when it comes to these new social media like Facebook (don't have one) and Twitter (don't have one) and Snapchat (nope!).

Who's Ally and what's a chengxiao? Who's that girl in the pics? Is that you? That isn't Yoona, right?  Are you one of @mslee's or @seogwangnim's twitter friends? Their friends are our friends too, of course.

@Kissy13

I saw this "Stalker's Guide to Im Siwan" that I thought I would share with you ladies because you were discussing The Mission.

http://mydramalist.com/article/2015/02/12/a-stalkers-guide-to-im-shiwan

I didn't know these nuggets of information:

"He passed the entrance exam of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Busan University and belonged to the upper 10% of passers. He got 450 out of the 500 questions correct. From elementary to high school, he was the class president, school vice-president and was always ranked first in his class."

I had to smile though because as a stalker, this blogger is tame. I was expecting ninja  level of expertise with the scoop on the actor's girlfriend and favorite haunts.

@bebe1989 Thanks. I watched that show Real Man with Siwan as guest. Lol. When he sat on the armrest (was that an armrest? I didn't rewind), I knew it would create a stir in the media.

Background info: the command was to sit down if you're currently in a relationship, and to remain standing if you're single. Siwan half-sat, half-stood up. Some of interpretations could have been:

a. He IS in a relationship but doesn't want to make it public.

b. He is a "some" relationship. "Some" @angelwingssf means nothing is official but you're definitely MORE than "just friends."  Google a Korean pop song hit called "Some." It was a big hit that year IIRC.

c. He still doesn't have one but he's teasing the viewers.

d. It's really none of our business and he isn't going to fall into the trap.

Some relationship is better than NO relationship.  He is pretty agile when it comes to common tasks - saw him in a video organizing stuff and was quicker than the other person and thought process is similar to that of an engineer.  Was happy to know that he is an engineer.  Speaks volumes about his agility in accomplishing things and the meticulous behavior from what I have seen him in this drama.  Like a "Tailor says  -  Measure twice and cut once", it is important to look into the fine details.

I hope he finds someone as interesting and as smart as he.

Don't you all think from the BTS, and other interviews, he is smitten with Yoona.  Or just my deluded mind.

I agree with you, @angelwingssf.

That's Rin's character. He's in DENIAL mode most of the time. Even when he was lecturing Jeon to beware of "greed and lust" for San, he also CONVENIENTLY blocked out in his mind that he TOO was guilty of the same thing. His Father had to subtly remind him --

(lol. That word "subtle" has been MISUSED and ABUSED so often in that TKIL drama thread that I don't think people know what it really means...)

I thought it was bizarre that SongIn would choose Rin as the leader of the uprising because he struck me as a pacifist.

Look at how he tried to mediate between Won and San whenever they squabbled.

How he refused to intervene whenever Won was being dressed down by the King about the hunting accident.

How he would run away and disappear every time there’s a big crisis (San’s wedding, for instance?) instead of confronting the problem head on.

As Won said, he was willing to be the bad guy for Rin because Rin wasn’t the type to stick his head out of the sand when there was chance that his head would be lopped off. He liked to play it safe. For him, the only time he truly went (R)insane and against the rules was going after Won's woman.

Which reminds me... I have another proof that Rin is a LIAR…to the core.

Are any of the Rinsaners lurking here? Better get out now because I don't want your feels hurt.

Remember in Episode 4 when Won was racking his brain trying to remember San’s name?

Won: Mae Hwa (Japanese apricot flower), Nan Cho (orchid), Ah what was it? It was definitely a flower name. I definitely heard the teacher say her name. Mo Ran (peony), Gook Hwa (chrysanthemum)…ahh.. You also heard him say her name. Do you remember at least one part of her name?

(he approaches Rin, working at the table)

Won: What are you doing?
Guard: He says he’s drawing a composite.

**The insinuation here is that Rin was so focused on his task that he didn’t hear the CP talking. But really? Has a sidekick ever IGNORED the Superhero? Only to his peril...

Won: Who is this?
Rin: That girl.
Won: The same girl we know?
Rin: Yes. A handmaiden of the Minister’s household, and the student of the Eye of the Dragon School. The girl whose name we don’t know. Can’t you tell from this drawing? (he stands up and gives sketch to guard.) Take this and look for her. Start with the area around the Minister’s house. There will definitely be someone who recognizes her.

Rin lied.

In Episode 2, at 36:40. After talking with the CP, he walked out and called Won’s bodyguard, Jang Ui, to start investigating San.

He knew SoHwa’s name from the start but he lied.

Now, we understand why his face looked… stunned (I don’t know. I don't Hong Jong Hyun isn’t a good actor like Siwan. He has the same wooden expression for a lot of emotions.) and disappointed when Won finally remembered San's name on his own. lol. The camera was focused on his reaction the whole time, but those silly fangirls didn't notice anything wrong with that.

I bet, like a loyal/disloyal friend that he was, he was hoping that Won wouldn’t remember.

@angelwingssf, do you think you can put your newfound skills to good use and make us a gif of this scene?  Episode 4 (of the 1 hour episodes) at 21:40. It was right after the talk on building cages. Thanks!! Here's a kiss. :o (I didn't know it was a kiss emoticon.)

Here it is.  It is a bit long.  I see that the gif here is not as long as the one online.  Wonder if there is a time restriction on the link.  Still figuring it out.

How do you do it?! I can only make gifs of YouTube videos.

:( I tried copy-and-pasting the dramafire link but giphy, gif, and gifmaker can't read the link. What URL link do you use?

But this isn't it, though. You'll have to move up a bit to when Won says, "I remember now!"

hahaha. I can't believe we're doing this for a kdrama. Our 20 something year old children will be laughing their heads off when they hear about this.

I swear, Siwan is always on point with his acting in TKIL. You could tell how happy he was to have finally remembered her name.

No wonder he was annoyed with her when SHE wouldn't remember their names.

What was Rin's name again?  So in?
