Sorry to be gone for over 2 weeks.  Now we are some 17 episodes behind ... But good to be back

 

Episode 32 Translation/Recap:

 

IY freezes for a second, seeing the box of cake that HM was holding, but regains composure quickly. YR says they bought it for her, and HM asks if she doesn't like cake. IY says she does.  Upstairs, IY goes to her room quickly after greeting JH, and YR tells JH that she is relieved to see BS' being friendly with her now after getting upset at her for the news leak earlier.  In her room, IY remembers the cop telling her that HM had taken a box of cake to thank IY's dad, so she couldn't have been behind SJ's death.  Also that a woman like her could not have dropped a man like SJ.  IY thinks: "Maybe it wasn't mother-in-law behind it? Or may be not so. Mr Jang is still keeping an eye on JM, after all. In case she needed anybody as accomplice, there's a high chance it was Mr Jang".

 

BS and HM have a chat in their room, feeling bad about sending YR out, etc. Nothing substantial there.  Nether of them ever look like they are guilty of anything, and are like two normal nice people -- which is all we notice in these conversations.

 

JM bring some beef from the place where he works. CH and SG say that they are planning to go to Namhae this weekend to see IY. DM is shocked.  She says she is fine going there, but IY works even on weekends, as it is so busy there. Mom and aunt can't believe that the company will make her work like this.  JM says he will get an off day and try to go too. DM thinks he will get fired if he starts taking days off so soon after starting work.  The aunt tells DM that she seems to be always stopping them from going to IY. She wants to know if there is any issue with IY - "like a man, maybe?". DM says there's nothing. She will call and see. The aunt says, "why call? we will all just go!".  DM texts IY - "Urgent situation developing. Okay to talk?".  They talk. IY wants her to stop them, but DM says she can't. She asks if IY can go down to Namhae.  No way for her to be away for that long, says IY.  She will talk to mom and tell her there will be no time to even meet this weekend. DB comes in, interrupting them. He is concerned that she is working too much etc...

 

BS tells the family that he should get some exercise outings; maybe with his wife. GH is not interested in exercise but looks happy that he wants her to go with him.  DB suggest golf and JH suggests that they go dancing. They all look happy.  YR asks if IY would go for some pilates her. IY tries to give excuses not to do that.  She has enough exercise from going to work. HM also asks her to look into what kind of workouts are good for pregnant women. GH makes some comments that he needs to be better physically etc, referring to the mountain trip earlier.  DB has a pensive look on his face.

 

DB comes to JH's room, asking for an old-style beer and music session between just them. JH can pick the music, as before. As DB takes juice and beer up, YR aks him if she can join to b the drinking company, as JH can't drink. DB says it's just guys today. She and IY can go drinking later sometime. 

 

The brothers chat, with DB asking if JH will continue to investigate his accident. JH saying yes. DB now tries to stop him by using the story of how much trouble his mom took, going to Yangpyeong without even telling JH, as he didn't like it, but always worrying about him. DB even drove her a few times for that. "It is not just you who has it hard.  Mom, dad, and me too.."  He basically asks him not to re-open the wounds. He wants to just erase the memories of all these times.  GH says sorry to the family. GH says he will do his investigation without his dad an mom's knowledge. So DB didn't really get what he wanted.

 

GH calls IY saying she wants to go see her place in Namhae, see how her roommate is, etc. IY again dissuades her. They both say they miss each other.  IY hears the loud snoring of the aunt, and finds it amusing that CH is now a boarder in a house that she is renting out!

 

IY is up making juice for everybody. HM asks her if she had the cake. Not yet, but she will have it soon. YR offers to take JH's and BS's juice to them. She tells BS that she will bring water to the library for him later. She didn't say whatfor, but he knew and he has that "shoot, she knows about my pills" look on his face. Db comes down, saying he is leaving early due to all the marketing team work, impressing the BS.

 

DB goes to the office and calls the his PI. DB wants him to find more people who may know, and asks him to do something else also - but we don't hear what.

 

In the P&D office, Mr. Yoon is sad that the marketing team is asking him to make changes to the presentation to the residents of Hanbit Apts, as Ms. Ha tells him. More night shift, says he and Ms. Ha to Mr. Jo, who looks clueless as usual. IY seems to be lost in thought, as Mr. Jo asks her about the design, and then JH comes in, to tell her that the chairman wants to see the designs. They both go to BS' office. She has made designs for residents Type A to Type E, based on preferences. BS likes her designs that take into the account the resident's tastes and congratulates her. CG comes in, and BS gives him an envelope that he should personally deliver to the Sharing Foundation, to the Managing director/ CEO (which is HM). He leaves and DB comes in with a report for the chairman. He is happy that BS is pleased with IY's designs - he scouted her after all. BS asks him to join for a tea. DB is thinking of getting some external management consulting. BS is quite pleased at the family taking care of the company stuff.

 

At the elevator, DB tells JH about his plan on the consultant. They need to make sure that they win the Hanbit apartment contract, etc. JH jokes that it puts stress on the P&D team, and IY agrees. When JH asks who he had in mind as consultant, DB says it is YR, to the surprise of JH and IY. JH asks about her Foundation work with HM, but he thinks this suits her better.  He would rather have IY work at the Foundation with HM. He thinks it will suit her to be near HM after the baby is born. JH jokes that he shouldn't think of stealing his team's prized designer. DB says he is just thinking about it and asks IY if she got upset about it. She says no. She knows it is only out of concern for her.

 

YR is looking at some papers, but thinking of DB telling her earlier that she seems to have some liking for JH now (his ploy to prevent her from dropping all this and leaving), especially the part about wanting her to protect JH from danger, and his answer that he doesn't know who will be dangerous to JH. She looks suspicious, and ask HM if DB and JH were always close. HM says they did everything together as kids - piano, biking, swimming, skiing. They even ran away from home together. YR can't believe that JH would do that. HM says that he was only following DB, as he was worried for him. It was over in one night, but they went all the way to Incheon, before JH convinced DB to get back. They are such close friends, says HM. YR asks about JH's accident time, and HM says DB was as worried as them, not even eating well for days. And YR gets a text from 'boss'.

 

She comes out and DB is there in person. She is concerned that he is there, but he has a good reason - he is just 'scouting' a consultant for the company.  She doesn't agree readily.  She is not too qualified for this - the company is of a higher scale than she can handle. She worries if BS will trust her. DB thinks everybody will trust her, as she is JH's woman, and they all trust him.  YR: "I have one thing to ask. Why do you take it this far, with your family?".  He again asks her to stop thinking of useless things and do her job.

 

At home, HM gives IY some special tonic drink to IY, who drinks it up and is about to throw up.  And a tear flows down her cheek. (The viewers are left puzzled. Huh? What? Tears?).  The End.

Episode 33 Translation/Recap:

 

IY is about to throw up after drinking the medicine/tonic that HM gave her, and runs up to her room without saying anything. HM is feeling bad. YR comes in, and says the drink didn't have any smell, to have caused trouble.  The chief maid says that pregnant women are just sensitive.  YR asks her to make some grapefruit-flavor tea, but the maid was about to do it anyway. They take it upstairs.  DB takes it from them to give IY, who tells him that it may be just because it was the first time. She will try it again tomorrow - after all, HM took the trouble to get it for her. DB says she should hang in there. Once the baby is born, they will get married and move out, to live happily together.

 

SG and CH are preparing all the side-dishes to take to IY in Namhae. The aunt is snacking on that, more than packing it. DM comes in and tries everything to make them stop. It may be better to send it by courier, and all that.  The mom and aunt are not buying it. She texts IY that Mom has even made all the side-dishes to take to her. They talk, and IY asks if DM can't tell them that she will go to Namhae instead of them all.

 

CH is bothering SG to ask IY to go on a blind date with the guy that her friend has set up. SG asks why not DM instead.  CH says "but IY is an interior designer. DM is, well..." and DM comes in saying "just a jobless girl in the neighborhood", and stomps on the leg of the aunt who hides under the sheets. "Sorry" says DM.  She is a trip, as always. The aunt also says sorry soon.  DM asks SG if she can go to Namhae, coming up with a story about hoping to a job soon, and wanting to clear her head during a trip alone somewhere. SG agrees somewhat more easily than expected and the aunt isn't happy about it.  DM end a text to IY who is pacing in her room - "Success. I go to Namhae this weekend".

 

In the morning, IY comes down and tells HM that she wants try that tonic again, as HM had taken the trouble to help her. HM is very pleased. CG comes in, to get some side-dishes to take with him, and HM talks about CG delivering the envelope from BS to her, and asks him to follow her.  She gives him a bag, whispering something, and this is all making IY very suspicious (about whatever HM and CG are up to).

 

YR takes some juice to JH and reminds him of the ophthalmology treatment today. She wants to go with him, but he says he will go alone. She doesn't complain. He asks her about the consultant work at the company. She is doubtful if BS will be okay with it, after the news article fiasco. He hadn't thought about it. She says she is glad that he was happy to have her join him at the company.

 

Mr. Jo is again on a brown-nosing session with DB, bragging about the Hanbit Apts designs and how it will be big for DB etc.  DB asks how many people are in the remodeling promotion committee. About 25, says Mr.Jo.  DB wants to see the list of names in the committee, for some marketing team purpose. Mr. Jo looks surprised, but agrees to give him a report on that. DB says some good things about JH and that puzzles Mr.Jo.  DB offers to help from behind whenever needed.

 

Mr. Jo asks Mr. Yun for the list of the committee members, and he doesn't have it. He agrees to do some calls and make that list.  DB comes in with coffee for everybody and strawberry shake for IY. He acts like the HQ director (bonbujang), and says that he is looking forward to her designs.  He then gives JH a card, saying it is of the investigator who looked into JH's accident - a guy named Jo Seong Hwan, who is supposedly a former cop who runs some investigation outfit. He wants JH to meet him and see if he has any investigation files from earlier. He acts like he is helping, but asks JH to drop the whole thing if it brings up nothing after he talks to this guy (who is quite clearly somebody that he set up - and probably that is what he asked his PI for in that earlier scene, where we didn't see what he asked the PI to do)

 

YR is at HM's office. She remembers BS' pills, and asks HM on his health, and confirms that HM has no idea about it. Then she asks about this consultant work proposal. HM jokes about it, but she is okay with it. DB comes in, and YR excuses herself saying she has a lunch date with JH, after which they will go look for an officetel (apartment) for her.

 

DB tells HM (and apparently he is making this up?) that JH has some suspicion about the cornea transplant after the falling accident. "By any chance, if he later asks you about the transplant... you know?..." (he doesn't elaborate). "Please convince him to bury the bygones as bygones". She turns pale, and says "Mmm... I know".

 

IY talks to her mom, in the stairwell. Mom says DM is going instead of her, and asks her to treat her to some good food, as "she seems to be under a lot of stress". IY asks her to cut down on all the food being sent, to reduce the weight DM is taking. When Mom talks abot the company making her work on weekends, IY suddenly starts talking about her dad, who worked hard. The uncles at the work place reminds her of her dad, etc. The aunt butts into the phone call in her funny way, when the call ends.  

 

Meanwhile, JH finds a big crowd waiting for the elevator, as only one is working, and decides to take the stairs.  IY is tearing up now, recalling her dad's friend telling her of how hard he worked.  JH sees her wiping her tears.  He doesn't seem to interfere, and goes back to his office, from where he watches her through his office window.  The staff members get off from work. IY was going to stay a bit longer but DB texts her that he is waiting in the underground parking garage.  JH also leaves with her. He just observes her quietly. DB jokes about JH's date with YR earlier, as they apparently went looking for apartments.

 

SG comes to JM's room to ask what he wants to eat. He tells her that he had gone to the hospital to find out who paid for his bills. He finds it odd that he checked with the staff and found that the hospital had not recommended his name for such support. Mom also finds it odd that they were picked, when there must be those who would be poorer than them. He finds it even more odd that the charity organization knew all details like his name and hospital room, while offering their support.

 

HM sits down in front of her dresser, remembering what DB told her, and then the scene of her being at the work-shed where next to a dead SJ.  BS comes in and asks her what she is thinking about. She says nothing (indicating again, that he is probably unaware of whatever she knows, or did, about SJ's death).  She changes subject to what BS thought of YR working at the company, and he looks puzzled about it.

 

JH recalls his fall from the mountain, pushed from behind by somebody. YR comes in. She aks what is bothering him and he says nothing. YR: "It doesn't look like it's nothing. You may not know me but I know you. Becuase I worry more about you, see you more, and become sadder if anything happens to you" (she uses a direct "dangsin"- "you" - here, like a wife does with her husband; unusual!).  Anyway, it does melt him a bit, and he tells her that he did not slip and fall, but was pushed off the mountain. She is stunned.  (The End)

Episode 34 Translation/Recap:

 

(The episode starts with a nice and fairly comprehensive 2-minute recap of the story so far, which should be clear from the flashback scenes that are shown)

 

YR is stunned when JH told him that somebody pushed him off the mountain, and that he is sure of it.  DB comes into the library and jokes - "what's up? Are you proposing to her or something?".  Back in her room, YR gets a tex from DB, asking what she was talking to JH about. Her reply - "about looking into officetels" (apartment for her to move into... So, she is suspicious enough of DB to even tell him about what JH just told her. Interesting).  DB texts again, asking her to use her time to get out somehow (with JH, I suppose). She replies yes, but again recalls asking DB who would be dangerous to JH.

 

In her room, IY is recalling the cop telling her that HM was the one who called the cops and asked to take SJ to the hospital after finding him lying on the floor when she went to thank him. She also recalls SB asking CG to take an envelope to HM, and then HM whispering something and giving a bag to CG. She thinks to herself - "Perhaps, at the Foundation office?" (we don't hear what exactly she is thinking now - maybe about looking for evidence at the Foundation?).

 

YR is reading New York Times on her tablet. (Btw, it is such a rare thing to see a Korean reading any English that is not out of desperate necessity -- so it is shown to tell the viewers very clearly that there is no doubt about YR's having been in the US for a very long time). IY comes and ask her if she is free in the evening. She wants to meet at the Foundation office, to go out shopping with YR and eat some warm noodles. YR agrees.

 

The chief maid brings IY some tonic which she takes back to the kitchen, saying she will consume it there.  Maid Nam wants YR's help for an eonni (older sister or friend) in the US who is now going to be at a grape farm in California. Perhaps YR's grandmother can help with some real-estate or housing, she wonders. Her eonni asked her to check with YR when she mentioned YR's grandma to her. But YR thinks her grandma does things through her real state agency and might not know much to be of help. Now the chief maid wants the name of the real estate agency. YR says she doesn't know but can check with her grandma, and leaves without saying much more.  As we expected, YR has poured the tonic out and the maid finds evidence in the sink.

 

JM gets a call from the Seocho Police station that they can't trace the mobile phone that he had asked them to trace. It was a 대포폰 (daepo phone), which I suppose is like a "cloned phone". DM calls him to come to eat, but he calls her in to tell her that they can't find the owner of that phone. He wants DM to tell IY, when she goes to Namhae, that his dad's death and the assault on him were somehow connected to that world phone. She asks him to stop worrying and just eat his meal, which is what she expects his sister to say too.

 

DM texts to alert IY of what JM heard from the cops. CG walks up, and she asks him if she could use BS' car, as she has to go to Yangpyeong to meet some contractors. She asks if CG can take her there, but he says it would be better to ask Mr.Kim. The chairman may need CG for escorting him somewhere, as he may not plan early enough. CG says if she lets him know in advance, he will get Mr. Kim to escort her.

 

Mr. Jo wants a cigarette break, but Ms. Ha and Mr. Yun catch him when he says it's a toilet break.  She gets the smoke smell whenever he takes toilet breaks, she says. They tell him that they have a meeting soon and get him to go out the door to the toilet rather than the door to outside. Mr. Yun thinks it is bad for smokers if the work becomes busy and stressful, but Ms. Ha thinks Mr. Jo will only like it, because he will now have an excuse to smoke! JH comes in to remind them of the meeting in 30 minutes, and observes IY again being lost in thought.  She is again thinking of who it must have been, with HM that day at the work-shed.

 

Mr. Jo seems to have had something more than smoking in mind though. He has taken a list of the Hanbit Apts Action (or promotion) Council members to DB. But he again gets a "you are useless" response from DB, who tells him not to just bring such folded sheets but to properly send it to the marketing team.  Mr. Jo is again deflated, but DB then asks him to tell the marketing team to find more details on each of the members in the list (I am not sure where this is going, but I find the interactions between these two interesting in its dynamics. DB acts like he is doing things in a proper way for proper reasons.  Mr. Jo always assumes it to be for some shady business and acts like that.  DB then chastises him, but clearly wants the shady work done like shady work! There is some originality and consistency in the writing, for many such scenes that we have had)

 

CG comes in, and DB seems to have called him over. He wants to know why CG asked him once earlier, to pay more attention to company matters, and if BS has some health issue. CG says he meant only what he said earlier.  BS is a bit less like he was before, and is late to start work and early to finish.  DB wants to know if BS' frequent meetings with the Attorney Hwang is connected to any of this. CG things that it would not seem to be unconnected. "Anything like succession matters?", asks DB, but CG says he knows not further details on any of that, with his usual stern poker face.

 

JH leaves a message with "Famous Planning" (a weird company name for an investigation outfit) as on the card that DB had given him. JH wants to meet the boss there, a Mr. Jo, for a personal investigation.

 

YR brings some budget info papers on some child care center for HM to see, but she is busy writing some thank-you notes to their sponsors. YR thinks it must be tiring to do so many of those all the time. She offers to do the rest of those, so that HM can take some rest. She thinks there is a lot she can learn from HM. HM then asks her about Maid Nam saying that her eonni in the US needed some help. YR says her grandma is into building properties and wouldn't know much about farm properties. But the grandma will introduce some real-estate agency that she deals with. HM thanks her for that. She wants to get off work with YR, but YR has some plans. "With whom? JH?", teases HM. YR acts coy - "you think I won't have plans with anybody else but JH?".  She is going out shopping with IY. HM leaves, giving her the remaining thank-you notes work.

 

YR tidies up HM's desk, and looks at a file titled, "Hope Orphanage" with concern. A piece of paper falls down from it. It is the hospital bill receipt for Kim Jae Min, itemizing some $30K payment for neurosurgery. She recalls HM telling her that they sometimes support some deserving hospital cases - "not for older people, but kids".  YR thinks to herself - "but it is not the pediatric division. Kim Jae Min?"  (So I suppose we can assume that HM is probably using the Hope Orphange name for somehow claiming the support to be for a kid, but it is really for JM)

 

CG has been called over for a dinner, but BS doesn't remember asking to call him over, when HM goes upstairs and wakes him up. While waiting for him, CG tells HM that he is worried if BS has some health issue. BS comes in saying, "it's you that you should worry about. At my age, I am doing excellently". HM leaves them to eat, as she will eat with the boys when they come back. BS jokes about how great his wife is, as she doesn't nag him like old wives do. CG agrees, and BS asks - "you have never even been married, how would you know?".  BS says that HM is great in everything anyway. BS thinks that she is great but is worried a lot ever since JH's accident, and has grown old quickly. BS asks him not to say anything useless to HM, like he did with Attorney Hwang (whom CG had told about his worry on BS' health). CG says he is just worried, and BS tells him in a nice way that keeping his mouth shut about BS' matters is why he has been kept for over 30 years. CG apologizes and BS finds it all funny. He asks him why CG gave him banana milk at lunch time (about which we saw BS being very amused, several episodes ago). Basically a nice chat between them, to show that they are very close and trust each other a lot.

 

DB calls IY who says she is at the Foundation, about to go out shopping with YR, which brings out a worried look on his face. He sees JH leaving too, and recalls his set-up guy telling him that he "got a call from a Kang Jun Hui like you said". They walk, talking about the girls' night out, and about IY being very busy at work. DB complains that he should come first for IY, like JH comes first for YR in everything. JH asks DB to not put stress on IY, expecting her to worry about only him, and sorta hints that IY may have other worries in her mind. DB says that it is no problem because they both love each other so much, unlike in JH-YR case (where JH often admits openly  that he is working on loving YR). They decide to go eat dinner together too.

 

IY is at the Foundation. YR is surprised that she hadn't told DB earlier about their outing, but IY says it slipped her mind. IY says she noticed that YR was writing thank you notes to help out HM. YR says she was surprised when IY wantd to go out shopping.  She has no shopping friends around but thought IY would have many. IY says she just wanted to get closer to YR. Later, once they are out somewhere, IY can't find her phone and they go back to the office to check if she dropped it there.  IY observes the pass code that YR used at the door (so, this whole thing was all IY's convoluted plan to find a way to get into the foundation office to continue her fairly random "investigation" that started with her looking at the Taeyeon office pillars for clues!)

 

It seems JH bought some scarfs for the ladies, as they're all back at the Taeyeon house.  The other two men joke about not getting a warning from JH, so they could also do something to win some points. YR thanks him for the red scarf, as she likes the color. HM and YR ask why he picked red for YR.  HM says she can see that the pink-beige suits IY, but red doesn't seem to suit YR a whole lot. JH says he didn't think that deep or anything, and was just picking what the shop lady picked. DB brings up the issue of having YR as the consultant.  BS just says he will think about it. JH supports it too, but BS wants work matters to be kept at the company and not discussed at home.  YR then asks HM about the gloves that HM had bought for BS, because she has seen that JH also has the same gloves. HM says she bought them for DB and JH also, when she bought them for BS. But BS is looking rather clueless, and is thinking later in his room about HM saying that to him. It looks like he still has no memory of the gloves matter. He also remembers YR bringing water for him, and he is pretty sure that she has a good idea about his problems. JH comes in, and BS asks him about how things are going between him and YR, so he can decide if he should bring YR into the company. JH says nothing new, but wants this to be just a business decision based on YR's abilities.  Work and personal things should be kept apart and BS can make the decision.

 

IY quietly gets out of the home at night and gets inside HM's office at the Foundation.  She finds the envelope that BS had sent to HM, but sees to her disappointment that it was nothing important. Then she gets a call on her phone from DB, which she doesn't take. While rummaging through the files, the JM's discharge payment bill falls out again. She goes - "Jae Min's hospital payment receipt... Why?"  (The End)

@jayakris thanks for the continued recaps when your time permits. You are appreciated. So I took a break from the thread but I have been watching clips of the latest episodes..

IY leaves the house as I mentioned before but JH seeks her out to get her to come back which she eventually does.

 

Later episodes show IY know knows who her ex friend is as the woman meets her and tells her and IY drags her out to beat her on the street for what she did to her family. Honestly sorry is not enough for how she ruined that girls family who was suppose to be a friend.

 

Now in the last few episodes.. IY passes out at the company and JH finds her and then YR comes across them. JH rushes her out to the car and he wants to go but YR said she will take her. They pull off and JH notices the hair band and as he looks at it it looks exactly like one he has or knew of before. He starts to wonder again I think if IY is the woman he was searching for. He goes home to get his box of momentous and looks in it.

 

We have another scene where they get trapped in an elevator together and JH catches IY as she stumbles with prompts him to have a flash back of when he was blind and IY was there with him and he replays her words then and when he collapsed at work and he is really suspicious now. He talks to IY and asks her about if she makes them and she says yes and he catches her and IY pauses realizing what she has admitted but tries to back track.

 

Last nights episode seems that JH called IY into the family room upstairs and left the headband on the bar and she comes in picks it up but then puts it down and tries to leave only JH comes in and says something to her and her face has a panicked look as he calls her the name he knew perhaps.

 

DB has found out that the assistant is the brother of the man he was searching for information for. Looks like he is confronting him about his connection in the next episode or in the last.

From my view IY should be with JH and DB and YR should be together. Hopefully by the end that will be so.

 

I still wonder what is going on with this pregnancy of IY's is she still lying about being pregnant?

@Ldy Gmerm.....Everytime that happens , He has that look " I SEE YOU".. lol lol  Everytime he catches her or saves her, I feel like he knows who she is. Her eyes say " OH NO!!!! Please don't be hurt, Or her body is like " THIS IS WHERE I WANT TO BE". lol lol

Episode 35 Translation/Recap:

 

IY gets back home, well-prepared to answer why she was gone - with some cookies from the convenience store that she says she needed, as she got a craving. Good to be pregnant (or claim to be), eh?  People buy whatever you say.  She claims not to have seen DB's calls either, and acts well, looking at her phone.  HM also comes out, as she is not getting sleep.  She too buys IY's story. IY wonders, in her room, why HM paid the hospital bills.

 

YR brings juice to HM and BS (boy, these people drink way too much juice, don't you think?)... BS says his juice is bitter, and again looks a bit lost, as HM finds it just fine. YR says it could be because he has some tonic medicine ingredients left on his tongue, which could be affecting his taste. HM agrees with her. BS looks around, all confused.

 

YR finds IY in the kitchen, holding the tonic from HM but not drinking it. Waiting for it to cool, she says. YR tells IY that HM cares for her a lot; maybe because she will be the elder daughter in law who is important.  IY says she is thankful for that. YR says she is a bit jealous of how IY gets loved by everybody. IY returns the compliment saying HM loves YR a lot too. YR thinks HM is a very loving type. After she leaves, IY thinks "a very loving type?" and throws the tonic in the sink, only to turn around and get caught by Maid Nam, who says she understands, and not to worry. The maid suggests that she should tell HM if taking that medicine is too difficult, as the madam is a understanding type.

 

More juice supply is underway, as JH gets his drink from YR who says that the apartment they saw had already been taken by somebody, as per the real-estate office's call. They need to look for another apartment and put down an advance before somebody takes it. She then asks what BS thinks about her working at the company. JH thinks he is being careful, and YR says she agrees with him. It may become stressful, as everybody knows of them both being effectively engaged. He asks what she really feels, and she says she will be okay with the work, as she can learn about the interior business and it could fun. JH tells her that he has asked his dad to keep their relationship away from the decision and to just look at hiring her as a consultant based on her abilities. He is fully fine bout it, so she should do whatever she likes to do. She says he is a good man, for saying that, and he tells her that she is a good person too.

 

SG is packing things for DM to take to Namhae, and has bought some long underpants. DM thinks it is embarrassing to go out eating with IY because she looks good even in such long tights (whatever you call it; I don't know women's clothing too well).  Some chat like that. Nothing important. DM says it's okay to pack anything; she is strong enough to carry it all.

 

DB runs into CG in the elevator, and recalls IY saying that CG has some special affection for him. He tries his luck, asking CG if he knows of what exactly his dad is getting ready to do. CG says he knows nothing. Then why did you warn me on it, asks DB. CG says he was just being worried. DB: "Worried for my dad, or worried for me?". CG does not answer.  DB says he knows that CG has always been his dad's man. CG says that both the chairman and the HQ director (bonbujang) are special people for him. DN tells him that he will remember him saying that, and that they will meet more often now.

 

A new Private Investigator calls DB.  He thanks DB for the payment, and tells that he is still looking for people fitting the age, who might have taken Pak Du Sik's baby. Looking at those who worked below PDS, but it will take time to check one by one. Also, he has agreed to meet Kang Jun Hui, that DB introduced him to. DB asks him to do a sincere investigation, leaving no stones unturned, and conclusively (my wording!).

 

IY gets a text from DM: "At work? I'm on a Namhae trip"... IY is surprised - "Namhae?".  She gets the next text - "Not! With bags and all, on my way to the comic bookstore".  I guess that is where she will kill time!... IY replies saying she will call, as she has something to tell DM.  JH comes in to say that the marketing team will call a meeting soon. To discuss redoing Taeyeon's image, starting with the Hanbit Apts work, or whatever...

 

DM meets IY who tells her that she found out who paid JM's bills. DM asks who. IY doesn't say who, but tells her that there is something DM can help with. We will see soon what that is.

 

HM is at a restaurant with IY and YR. IY says she is very busy at work these days. HM feels it would be tough to see YR like this, if she also starts working at Taeyeon. YR says it seems undecided still.  HM thinks it will happen, as JH likes it. IY tells HM that DB would like her to work at the Foundation instead, and asks HM how she started doing the charity work. HM describes what she does. YR mentions that they even support some hospital bills. HM again says that they do it sometimes, but only for kids in need.  Then HM gets a call.  This is from DM, under IY's instructions. "Hello, I am the sister of Kim Jae Min". She says she heard that HM's foundation supported her brother.  HM says it was just something the foundation decided. DM wants to still meet her and thank her. HM says she is busy and stops the call, with IY intensely staring. YR asks what it was. HM says it straight - "The son of somebody I know had an accident and was in hospital, so we supported his bills. They seem to have found out and called me, though I didn't want them to know". Then IY says she must have been close enough, to pay even the hospital bills. HM: "It's not that we were close. Just somebody I was thankful to". IY persists - "Then why were you helping without their knowledge?".. HM is tongue-tied. IY: "They might want to know after getting help, right?".  HM says she thought that there was no need for them to know. YR breaks the deadlock saying the food is getting cold, and observes both of them.

 

DB says Hi to Attorney Hwang, and tells him that he must be exercising, as he looks petty fit. He surprises the lawyer when he asks if it isn't the Sichen Apartments in Samseong-dong (an area on the eastern side of Seoul, just south of the river) where he works out. He knows that the lawyer has taken over a lot of work over there.  The lawyer is flustered to know that DB has found out some details, and leaves in a hurry saying he is busy. (I'm not sure what this is about, but we will see later).

 

IY gets a drink for CG and has a chat with him in the corridor.  She talks about how great HM is.  he just found out today that there are many people to whom she has privately given charitable support. IY says she had seen Mr. Jang at the Jaeil Hospital a few times. She had gone to that hospital at that time, but since she wasn't close to him then, she hadn't talked to him. CG says he was there on an errand for HM. She was privately supporting a patient there. (So IY again hears something that just sounds normal, when she was expecting some big reluctance from people to talk about it). She leaves and CG gets a call from his informant. "So he is already working at a department store? So he must've got his memory back, right?"

 

IY meets DM and says that she feels she was wrong in her thinking. She now thinks that the cop was probably right that HM was there to thank her dad and was only finding him dead. DM asks about paying JM's bills. IY thinks that was also out of gratitude to her dad. DM wants to know what was behind so much of gratitude, to even pay the hospital bills for his son. Dad had helped the son of the family when he was hurting, says IY. DM is still not convinced. IY also feels that SG was tailing her family only out of wanting to know how JM was doing, probably. DM asks about the ultrasound drill matter, and IY feels that it also might just be a coincidental development of the scheme at the company. "Now what do you do?" asks DM. IY has no answer.

 

JM is helping unload vegetable supply for the food joint at the department store, and catches a glimpse of CG turning away to pick up a call from BS, as he was watching JM from a distance.

 

The aunt comes in complaining that it is so cold with no sunlight outside, though she is wearing thick warm clothes. SG asks why she feels cold with that outfit, and she says it is her heart that feels cold. She needs to go on a trip somewhere, like all the people she knows. SG offers to buy her some samgyeopsal (pork belly) meal to raise her spirits. CH wants to go to a theme park for fun.  SG says she has to cook for JM and can't go. CH has a place in mind to go, after she makes dinner for JM.

 

DM is at a sauna house, spending the night, as she is supposedly gone to Namhae. Ouch, in come CH and SG, as this is their outing for fun. SG didn't want to spend the night there, but CH wants a ladies' night out.  Of course, we know that they would end up right next to DM who is hiding under a comic book!

 

CG is pacing in front of the Taeyeon house, wondering if JM must have recognized him - "but definitely he wouldn't have seen me that time".  Then we see his flashback of calling JM from the meeting spot (seemingly to confirm that it was the guy whom he was supposed to meet; so they never talked). And we see the flashback of somebody hitting JM, and it is unclear if that is shown as what CG remembers.  (It was poorly edited, so the viewers may miss CG in the very first shot from under the tunnel or overpass, with CG standing some 100-200 feet away at a height behind some walkway handrail. That shot flashes by before we see a close-up of him calling on his phone.  Then we see JM walking out of that tunnel or overpass and being hit soon after.  So it is established that it was somebody else and not CG who hit him.  But we saw CG turning his head before that like he was looking for somebody or was simply about to walk away, so it is not clear that he saw the hit. And he was no longer behind the handrails in the shot of JM being hit.  So the mystery of whether he got somebody to hit JM, and if not, how/when he knew that JM was hit, still remains).

 

HM is at her dresser, recalling DM's call, and wondering why/how the hospital could've passed on her mobile number. And we have more beverage supply from YR.  This time it is green plum tea and not juice though. She asked maid Nam, who suggested it to be good when one is not feeling well in the stomach. How did you know, asks HM. YR says she could see that HM wasn't eating well at the restaurant. She wants HM to rest. HM thanks her and agrees to do so.

 

IY is at her office. She recalls JH saying that he wanted to meet SJ but had no way to contact him, even though he knew that SJ would be the happiest person to know that he is doing well.  Then she recalls HM saying that her hospital payment was for the sake of somebody she knew whose son had an accident. The next recollection is CG's saying that he was only following the progress of the one being helped privately by HM. She thinks, "I was mistaken. I took kind people for enemies. What do I do now?"... And JH comes in asking, "not getting off work?"

 

As they walk out, JH asks whether she talks to any friends when sh is having a had time. He feels that she is not really talking to DB. She acts like there is nothing - "for that, I need to have a hard time, right?... What, do I look like I'm having a hard time?".  He says no, but states that people need to have somebody to talk to. He talks to his brother when things get hard. She should also have somebody, whether it is DB or somebody else, like that. IY: "If I talk, will anything change?"... As usual, JH is the perfect gentleman and does not push her further on it.  IY: "I may feel better, but it is still leaving the burdens where it is, right?... One just has to handle it oneself". 

 

Now JH talks about how he thought the same after his accident. The whole family was there for him, but he felt it was he who was blind, and it was something he had to handle alone by himself. But he gave up, as he couldn't handle being unable to see what is in front. At that time, there was somebody who gave him strength and got him back up. JH: "I told you before, right?.. About somebody who thought of the same kind of a house as you?  That person taught me, that even without eyes, one can feel the world, and be able to love... and that there was thus a way to get brightness out of darkness and live on".  Thanks to that person, he was able to hang in there through that tough period. JH: "People can't live alone. That is why they love, and get married"... Now IY knows that she can no longer take it without crying, and she starts walking.

 

DB hasn't yet come to the parking garage, so IY asks JH to go on, as she will wait for DB. But she thanks him for paying attention to her lately. he says he should be thanking her, and leaves. (The romantic ones among the viewers would feel a pinch of sadness, seeing her being able to only stand there and look at him walking away).

 

DB and IY drives up and sees CG in front of the house. IY asks him to be careful not to catch a cold from standing outside. DB tells her that she shouldn't get a cold either, as she can't even take medicines, and talks abut Ob/Gyn visits. CG hears it, but has a curious look on his face like he already knows something about IY.  Once upstairs, DB tells her that he wants to go on a trip with her to Jeju Island. They need to get married for a honey moon trip, so this is the best he can do now.  He feels apologetic that he can do nothing more for her. IY tears up and says she is more sorry (and we know why. Because she probably feels that she screwed this all up, at least for now).  He hugs her and says he should watch what he says, as pregnancy makes one very sensitive.

 

IY sits on her bed saying "what do I do now?... DB, JH and the whole family... what do I do with everybody?".  She gets a call from DM who wants tor report on the trouble she is in, but IY cries over the phone, "Da Mi, I can't do this any longer. I was wrong in all this. I'm so scared, so help me. Get me out of here, please".   (The End)
