For a change of pace from the upcoming angst. This is a video posted by Lexie Dvrels on YT that had me laugh a bit as it goes through OG's bit about "I don't want to. Why should I? How much are you going to give me? Even if you give me 500 won, I won't." line.

 

 

I especially liked the first snippet as OG singsongs his line in a mocking voice. Anyone remember which episode this snippet was from? There is something so cute and mischievous about him, even though this is before OG has fallen in love with SM.

 

The second snippet was from the conversation when SM asks OG to get rid of his special sauce that he had cooked up to season her flesh with when he eats her.  The third snippet was from when SM is at the grocery store with Jonathan and OG tells her to come with him rather than with Jonathan, and is SM mocking OG with his own words. 

 

This video may have been made earlier when the drama hadn't aired as many episodes since it doesn't include other instances of when OG or SM say the refrain. My favorite times when this phrase is used is when OG says it to the ghost child to get her to talk to him in the episode with the bookseller, and when SM says it to ASN to show that SM and OG are both childish and two of a kind, so ASN should butt out.

 

And, even hearing LSG's singsong voice makes me wish that he would record an OST for this drama.

ahhh! we have another BTS but..but, not so many OTP moments?  I think they will just show all the laughter, sweeter, hotter moments BTS of our OTP on their released DVD(if they'll release one)..

 

so MW was deceived again? & AGAIN? ughhh! I thought he will really outsmart ASN this time, I don't know about him anymore..

 

anyways, I don't know if anyone has already pointed this out but look at this poster below.. For me, it depicts something that JSM will become a deity after all..What makes me say that is, she stands above them..What's more is that, those shadows behind them also depicts something that SOG & MW were both eagerly wanting to eat JSM/SJ like what we saw in the earlier episodes & also the 3 of them depicts the present time where they will become deity together..but the question now is, how & what way will she become a deity? Will she really sacrificed herself 'til the end?  

 

I think the show just giving us this upcoming angst for a while before we have to get our happy ending & I'll only accept a happy ending that will make us understand & love it more, not the other way around.. Also, I'm pretty sure that SOG now really loved JSM even having the GGG. We can see it in ep 15 & mostly in ep 16 how he truly wants to protect JSM until the end. That's LOVE, y'know  BUT, I do hope that he will atleast tell her the truth this coming ep 17 & no noble idiocy please! So that they'll fight together. With all these previews & still cuts, I don't know what to predict anymore..*sigh*

Wow finally there's a bts for our main couple. I really like this two gifs @stargazer187 thank you for making them.

 

In the first gif OYS was really focus on making the scene more realistic not minding if it might hurt her due to continuous takes ( a very devoted actress I should say) but with LSG at her back she was properly taken care of. I Just noticed his face when he catched her, he seems shy instead of a serious facade he just look down

In the second gif LSG playful acts lighten the mood on the set even OYS can't not stop smiling with his cute gesture.

Actually, I don't think that Frosty had a contract with ASN. It was just that Frosty decided to help ASN in order to protect Summer Fairy since ASN is the one who enabled Frosty and Summer to share his body, and ASN was threatening to end the arrangement for Summer. So, one of the reasons Summer decides to sacrifice herself is so that Frosty won't have any reason to be beholden to ASN.

 

However, I think there is another reason which is alluded to in the conversation between OG and SM about loyalty among the immortals. SM had pointed out that while humans are ephemeral, with an end sooner of later, that the immortals have true loyalty that lasts forever. OG agrees that's true, and had also commented that the price for betrayal among immortals is death.

 

That's why Frosty tried to convince OG that he wasn't really betraying OG by helping ASN get SM's body since SM could harm OG after all. And, once Summer says her farewell and dies, Frosty expects OG to kill him, however, OG says that Summer's death is enough, meaning Summer's death has paid the price of Frosty's betrayal of OG.

 

So, the other reason that Summer dies herself is in order to pay the price for Frosty's betrayal, so that he can continue to exist.

oooh! I miss this line of his  me too, I loved the 1st snippet more when he singsongs  & I think that happened when JSM is about to sleep but then she thought of SOG & appeared right next to her, maybe in episode 4 or 5 chingu, I'm not sure

I mean i need their bts not because i want to be delusional or something.

but given Seunggi personality and from all the dramas bts of Oh Yeon Seo i've seen. She is totally a hyper one....

so why not show them propeely and give us a good laugh to lighten up the mood

This is true. I laughed at Rain and Joo Won saying she's really a cool co-actor and it doesnt matter to her if the scene is harsh. I remember the bts of OYS and Rain regarding the scenr where they need to delete the porn folder..they were pulling each other and dragging while laughing hahaha

Frosty has a contract with ASN as she helped saved Summer Fairy by residing her soul inside Frosty.

 

After Summer Fairy exited his body to the bar, Frosty said he needs to find ASN to help put his sister’s soul back into his body. And after Summer Fairy died, Frosty did mention that with the death of Summer Fairy his contract with ASN also ended.

I made that video 5 days ago, i didn't put that part of SOG sing it to the ghost kid or when SM said it as replying to ASN, or when SM said it to Yuk Gong (the lunch scene where SM didn't call for Oh Gong). I didn't put those because i just want the otp moments, when they say it to each other. My fav part when Sun Mi said it in the supermarket, that was the first time SM not being nice, the first time SM reply OG mean words with mean words.

 

Anyway thanks @stargazer187 for the gif, love it.

 

I just remember that ep 16, the first time OG drive his car with SM seating next to him, we never seen OG take SM with that car before

Yes that scene. I love that car park scene so much that I’ve lost count how many times I’ve repeated it. I also love how JSM used his words against him. And I love it when she shook her head subtly at the last line. 

 

And then his little tantrum he threw at the end. ❤️❤️

 

Edited to add: I also want to hear him sing to the heavenly patriarch when he’s asked to kill SJ.

OG already fell in love too deep with no wat out. The Great Sage equals to heaven is ready to do anything just to protect Sunmi.  From ep 16, what i get is he will never let her die..

he did know that she is human that will die someday.. but from that one scene with sunmi, it looks like he wants her make her immortal so he can be with her for eternity ( hence he is so desperate to make this marriage happens)

 

Even without the GGG, Sunmi still can call him due to their contract. I hope Sunmi's power is the hidden key for her to defeat ASN

 

The problem is that JSM is unaware of it. She is unaware that SOG's feelings are real and she is unaware that he can turn her into an immortal too. Which is why she is hell bent on sacrificing herself, since she thinks his feelings are not real, but hers are. If he dies because of her, she will suffer till she dies but she thinks his suffering will only last till the GGG comes off of his hand after her death. This is why she'd rather sacrifice herself and get locked inside the sarcophagus than fight for their love like SOG is doing because she does not believe his love is real. If we want to see JSM fight the fate like SOG and with him, then the GGG has to come off and she has to know that his love is true and he will suffer endlessly if she dies.  

 

I wonder if marriage between SOG and her is how JSM will be made into a deity? They have mentioned it and given the marriage a lot of spotlight. Does this mean SOG will never be able to love another? Because so far we have seen that love is an unending, unbreakable bond for the demons and deities. Once they love, they are loyal till death/endlessly and will go to any length for their lover. We can see Mawang taking on PIF's punishment, his eternal love for her. We can even see how PK went from a selfish pig to prioritizing BJ, her needs and happiness before his. We can even see how SOG is set on fighting the heavens and the fate for JSM. Is this why the marriage between SOG and JSM is so important?

 

I am sure JSM new found power will help the "good" gang be 2 steps ahead of ASN and KDS but Mawang is a wrench in that, we don't know to what lengths he will go to support ASN because of his fake dragon "son".

imo the sad thing is even though SM&OG have learnt to trust each other, they still keep missing an emotional meeting point. OG is also unaware that SM's feelings for him are real, he only knows that his love for her is real... which is why I'm really curious to know what SM will confess to him and what the human betrayal is about. I have a suspicion the GGG will be removed as a cliffhanger, but don't quote me. lol

ahhh,  I can't wait to see this kind of SOG when he battles against ASN & other evil spirits or even the heavenly realms. I mean, he's more hotter than his fire here   It's even more good if SJ & MW will work together with him

Happy to see that this thread has over 190 pages, that means audience are taking noticed of the show

 

Just finished watching ep.15-16, and at least there are developments on SM's powers - its just funny at time, esp toward the end of ep16 when OG said he is leaving, and just left SM at the bar.... not sending her back home OG?  

 

OG sure will have to think something inorder to save SM, so we will have to see. I'm sure this show will end happy and should end happily.

 

One thing I want to add is that, I didnt realise that OG's car 5050 was actually OG's name until the pig mentioned it at earlier episodes, that supermarket/car park scene and the chase on the pig was hilarious. Just saying.

 

On another note, great to know that LSG is looking at another drama production after the end of Hwayugi.
