I apologize for nitpicking, and I'm not disagreeing with your post, which I found very insightful, but I need to point out that that's a case of misleading subtitles. He says "우리 악수 한번 하자." That's just saying "Let's have a handshake." If he meant JUST once, then he would say something like "딱 한번 하자" or "한번만 하자".   Final edit: Likewise, Ji-an also says 한번 ("once") when she says she'll buy him something good to eat. 한번 technically does mean "once" or "one time", but it shouldn't always b
