Lol After the MoonStar Ship sank as it was making its way to the land of Lin & Zhao, everyone dispersed to different lands. So I say to everyone who has reunited here, Welcome to the land of Xiao Xin on this big continent we know as Soompi. Lol!

Top 3 of his most favourite movie characters are Sun Wukong (Journey to the West 2), Shao Jianbo (The Taking of Tiger Mountain), and Hsieh Shaofeng (Sword Master).

In my opinion, I like Shao Jianbo, Sun Wukong and Lin Yi (My Old Classmate). How about you?

Here's an article about how he's doing in box office bar. Just for your reference. Please remember that box office is NEVER the first thing he cares. Note: it should be "Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon" instead of "Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame."

I wish someone here can translate some critic reviews about his roles from Chinese.

Thanks 'matchamacchiato' for the article link. Interesting article on the movies rating. A few of my favorite actors were listed there too.

As for LGX, they have not taken into account of his popularity rise since PA as the article was published in March 2017.

@gentlelily12-I knew and visited this thread on the day you created it but I do admit on the skeptism I was having over a certain group of people because I did not enjoy the bashings that was thriving in the XingYue thread. So, kudos to you for opening Lin Gengxin's thread here.

@matchamacchiato - thank you for your wonderful and informative insights on Lin Gengxin. I would like to get to know more of him and hope you'll be able to share more. I've read on all the critics and reviews of his work. His presence and character portrayal on the silver screen got good reviews, and that was the only thing that came out good from that film For A Few Bullets.

Btw, I got the vibe that LQX is mirroring Stephen Chow in his career moves. I only remembered very handful films that Stephen was in a serious character. But he was still able to inject some humour in those characters.

I'll be sure to drop by here and thanks for making a warm, lively  and welcoming ambience in this thread.

*Jiayou (加油)*

I really really want to stuff a few cheeseburgers down LGX's throat! Lol! I'm a little disturbed about how skinny he is. He doesn't even fill up the outfit he had on at that event and his shoes gots to go. Lol I remember seeing his collar bone during a BTS PA and thought  He seriously needs to gain more weight. His face is pretty but...*smh Eat something dude! lol I love everything else about him but his skinny body.

I thought someone was interested in Lin Gengxin's handwriting and based on his signature I'm not caught by surprise anymore. Though he came off like a dork and a few commented on his "smarty pants" on the lack of it but still water runs deep. At 20ish maneuvering his own career, making contacts while his family is not from entertainment world or business, showed a different side of him. So, not necessarily what we see is 100 percent of all his sides and nature or personality.

You and me both, LMAO.  Thanks to you mostly.  I was too busy comparing signatures since it rang a bell in my mind when I saw @The_Joker nick that she was the one who mentioned something particular about his signature.  I had to click the link again to see what you meant.  So observant you are.  I would fail miserably as a detective.

Is the girl next to him in the first two pics the one from Go Princess Go that @cheeriekwan mentioned in a previous post?  Poor guy doesn't know what to do with his hands without a phone but he looks good anyway.

I read in a Vietnamese LGX FC site that on August 1st, some fan on Weibo asked him  they saw him in Scarlet Heart and he wasn't that handsome but the Young Master YWY is as handsome as the Universe (hard to translate literally), very hypnotizing, how do you do it?  His answer was: I was so handsome what else can one ask for, I am just more handsome now, but you can't deny I was handsome in those days, always handsome in general.  Lol gotta love his half jokingly-half truth admission.

I agree with him bc 14th prince was my huge crush. "He is just more handsome now." LOL.:D

I am surprised a dog food company hasn't contacted him yet to do endorsements for them.  Forgive my ignorance but do they sell dog food in China?  In Vietnam, most dogs are just given leftover or scraps.
