Don't hate me SSH fans. I'm not really that overwhelmed about him but I  will watch a drama regardless who the actors are as long as it's well made, script and flow of the story is good.

Hello, my friend! I'd rather advise  everyone who is not happy with SSH's acting skills to look through  Director Kim Hon Son's  recent interview:  He frankly reveals that he was very much mistaken about SSH' acting abilities  until they started filming the drama:"I found out that he is completely a different person from what people usually say! Totally different! Such eagerness in work and such mastership"!

Just going to mention their scenes. Not sure of their names yet. Black is SSH.

 

Scene at the moment inside the precinct. So I'm thinking Detective Black is SSH.   scene atm, a mn is about to jump off the bridge. Black and her inside the car driving by. She saw something in the guy that's planning to jump. They just drove buy. He drop her off. He passed by the bridge again in time to see the man Jump. A mother was hysterical once the body was fished off the waters. I think she warned him. Scene at the moment. He's drunk and went to her place. they talked and then she pushed him away locked the door. He's shouting at the door. Neighbors call for cops because he's being scandalous.

 

Scene now at the precinct Chief annoyed at home. next scene at the hospital getting statement from old man/ doctor. He's now at an abandoned building/ school/ warehouse I'm snot sure.. and we have a flashback of him witnessing a girl being  hit bit a mother, girl crying.  He as child was looking through the window.

At the moment he's at rooftop of building having a confrontation with..... another girl dunno who she is

 

At the moment she's walking. I know how she can see and predict death. There's a black smoke that will usually appear behind a persons back. Just like  with the one that jump off the bridge. So she passed by two persons where black smoke appear.  She can tell  person will die. So she always has to do something in advance.  SSH character,  not sure if he's annoyed with her, doesn't believe, or he just goes along.

 

I'm honestly finding it so-so at the moment. Kinda like Final Destination feelz to it.. for now.

 

I'm waiting when He's going to be a grim reaper.

 

Edit to add:  Maybe I'm just not understanding the whole drama as it's raw.

I just watched the trailer for this one last night and thought he was fine in it. I didn't have this one on my list but can't to watch it. I gave up on his dramas years ago because they were mostly too sad. SSH doing action scenes and the storyline has me now waiting impatiently for subs.

She  Foresaw ( is that a term?) his saw his death. She went to the precinct looking for him but he's not there.  He was held hostage by gunman, he was shot on the neck. brought to the hospital- nurse he was speaking earlier  hysterical.. tired to rushed him thruough ER but  he's dead already. Was brought to the (hospital) morgue? another doctor, was going to do something to nasty to him ( like poke or inject something in his eyes).. but he suddenly opened them which scared the doctor. They fight. Meanwhile. I have no idea why  Go Ara's character want to kill herself. She tired to choke herself by hanging. I'm confused.

 I did not watch this yet but I will assume she can`t deal with her "gift" anymore. She had to live with scary things from so long. But she would find a purpose using her seventh sense and she will be fine. We`ll see what`s really going on. I am waiting for subtitles.

3 Questions To Ask About Go Ara’s Character While Watching OCN’s “Black”

Go Ara is set to play Kang Ha Ram, a woman who can predict people’s deaths, in OCN’s upcoming drama “Black.” With the first episode set to air today, here are three questions about Go Ara’s character to have on your mind while watching the drama.

1. Why does she cover her eyes?

Even when she’s at her part-time job, Kang Ha Ram always wears sunglasses. That’s because Ha Ram can see the shadows of death when she looks at people, and she even has visions of the exact moment a person dies when she comes into physical contact with them. Therefore, sunglasses have become a must-have item for her, not for fashion but for survival. Hiding away from the world because she always sees death no matter where she goes, she lashes out at people in fear.

2. Why is she able to see death?

Ha Ram describes herself as being cursed because she is unable to do anything though she knows when people will die. However, it hasn’t yet been revealed why she has this ability. Regarding this, the staff stated, “Ha Ram remembers being able to see death from when she was a child. With every episode, viewers will be able to piece together why Ha Ram has this ability.”

 

3. Why does she try to save people from their deaths?

Ha Ram has been torn between not being able to do anything about people’s death, and not wanting to just sit back and watch people die. Though she’s been cutting herself off from the rest of the world behind a pair of sunglasses, she meets a detective called Han Moo Gang, who tells her that her abilities are a gift, not a curse. She gains more confidence as she interacts with Black, who takes over Han Moo Gang’s body, and she takes off her glasses to face death and try to save people. Whether she succeeds is yet to be seen.

Hi, everyone! So I decided to watch this drama since it's from OCN. So far I like it, though it feels different and the beginning had some scenes that make you want to puke, hope to see less of that.  Here's what I understood from the first episode. So Go Ara's character has been living with this 'gift' of hers since childhood, it was difficult for her to deal with. Her dad was the only person in her family who believed her and first gave her dark sunglasses as a way to prevent seeing the spirits of the dead (since they appear as a dark mist she doesn't see them when she wears sunglasses). Her dad was a policeman and died some time ago, so she lives by herself as a hermit. She also blames herself for not being able to prevent her dad's death even though she could see it. Oh, and she not only sees the dark mist around the person who's about to die; when she touches the mist she can also see the precise moment/scene of the accident. 

 

SSH's character is a rookie cop who's clumsy, goofy and at times pretty pathetic. His colleagues treat him like a complete novice and make fun of him all the time, but the guy is not that simple. He has a hidden room in his house that has an eyeprint lock, plus he secretly investigates a case from his past. The guy also has a girlfriend with whom he's currently living with, LA's character, she's a surgeon and she also has a connection to the case SSH is investigating. When he finds out about it they have a serious fight. She's kinda shady, so no wonder.

 

SSH first meets GA at a cafe where she currently works. A guy she knows orders coffee and GA sees the black mist around him. She tries to warn him, but the guy brushes it off, it seems like the two aren't on good terms. So when he leaves a truck of doom ends his life right outside of the cafe. Everyone rushes outside, shocked at what just happened, but SSH is more shocked that GA is so calm and unfazed by the situation. 

 

After a few days, GA packs her bag to go on a trip. After boarding the plane, she loses her eyeglasses and suddenly many black misty figures start appearing beside the passengers. GA panics, having never seen so many at once and hysterically begs the stewardess to stop the flight. Luckily the plane hasn't taken off yet and guards escort her out, while she tries to explain that everyone is in danger. Of course, everyone thinks she's crazy and they arrest her, but a few hours later news break out that the plane has crashed. SSH sees GA at the police station, where they interrogate her about the fact that she knew the plain would crash. She gets released the next day and basically forces SSH to give her a ride home. I kinda like how gutsy she is. They drive past a person who tries to commit suicide on a bridge. GA says that there's a black mist around that person and he'll die soon, but SSH assures her that the guy will be fine since he has similar records in the past and simply likes the attention he gets. SSH drops GA at her house, but when he drives back, he sees how the suicidal guy actually jumps from the bridge. That shocks SSH and makes him believe that GA can really see who'll die in the future. Later that night he gets drunk and visits her only to tell her that she's not the monster she believes to be. Her gift might save so many lives and he offers to help her with that. GA ignores him but his words seem to give her hope.

 

A few days later GA decides to give it a try and lives a like a normal person for one day. She goes out without her eyeglasses and sees the black mist around people. She touches one man's shadow and sees that the guy will be held hostage in some big shopping mall by some other man with a knife. The police (I suppose it's the police) will try to shoot the criminal but will miss and kill the hostage guy instead. GA freak out after seeing all that and decides to call SSH to ask for help (since he did offer it earlier). 

 

He eventually agrees and they figure out the possible suspect. The guy is a soldier who ran away from his military service or something like that. They arrest him and our duo part ways, both happy that they managed to save a life. GA goes to a sauna and after some time she checks her phone only to find multiple missed calls from SSH. She calls him back but the phone is unreachable, so she goes to the police station to wait for him at his desk. There she finds a photo from his police academy graduation and sees a red string bracelet on his wrist. It appears that SSH is her childhood friend.

 

They were close and he was her only friend that believed in her special ability. He moved away with his family but before he left GA gave him a parting gift – the same handmade red string bracelet. She's both shocked and happy to find her childhood oppa so suddenly. Right at that moment news broke out about a hostage situation at a mall – the same situation GA saw but this time the hostage is none other than SSH. He ends up being shot with everything being broadcasted live on TV. GA freaks out and brakes down in tears. She blames herself for what happened, saying that she killed him, she’s responsible for his death since she made a mistake in figuring out the real culprit. She goes home and tries to hang herself. Meanwhile, SSH’s girlfriend tries to save his life at the hospital but his heart stops and he dies. After transporting him to the morgue, his body suddenly awakens and whaddaya know, it’s none other than Black The Reaper. End.

hi everyone 

i sill waiting for the end sub vut watcing it raw and it was so amazing 

so he not just a stranger guys to her he was and still the only one beside her father who trust her and till her to not see her ability as a curse  so that why she tried to kill herself no wonder if she think her acting cause to kill this important person, and it sad that she had to know who he are in the same day he get shot because he trying to change what she told him is going to happen. i was sad with her in every scene in this ep she has no power to save people and she had all her life to safe the pain from trying to save them and then failed or the pain from known and ignoring them cause she can't do anything

 

i need the sub but if he has that  bracelet  in his hands till now that mean she was important to him too , and that he remember who she is from the start --- after all how many people you meet in your life who has the same name and the super ability to see the shadow of death in people!!!!! , ,  but he still has so many secrets i think there a reason he didn't say he the same OPPA from her childhood , the things he searching from the past and the secret about his girlfriend , there still many to know about the nice detective who has so many layers hidden under his silly look but for now we know it not just pure romance between him and the doctors, she loved him but now she will also will has to choice if   keeping her secret hidden is more important then her love and if she will like that he will wake as different person who don't remember anything cause that mean her secret is safe

 

and now BLACK show up from now where  , so ep 2 will tell is BLACK side from the story and why he come and take the detective body and we all know that the detective really die there before BLACK taken his body but the really quiestions did his soul leaves or still here??? if his soul still here then did he running from death or made a deal with BLACK????
