It is confirmed for this summer of 2019, along with Tecent's other drama adaption for grandmaster of demonic cultivation (The Untamed 陈情令). Most likely in July or August which corresponds to student's summer vacation.

Oh this is going to be wild, both series' s2 are also slated for summer, and King's Avatar have a prequel anime film slated for August. Tencent is ready to kill I guess.

To be honest, I'm more excited on the animation Movie than the drama. It's probably because of the plot since it tells the story about Su Muqiu and the first season of Glory.

 

One thing im curious about this drama is who will be the OTP.

@nasaan ka Alex? Hopefully they will show the twin.. from drama wiki character listing, I saw that they also have child actor playing little Ye Xiu.

Anyway after watching the trailer... from the get go.. they are already referencing the departed best friend Su Muqiu

Su Mucheng is his previously team mate, Guo chem is the Internet Cafe owner where Ye Qiu works and Tang Rou is Guo Chem old friend.

 

I'm a bit worried about the show, i already dropped 2 dramas of this guy(love o2o and martial universe), dunno if the Ye Qiu character who is already 27 is suitable for him.
