Synopsis

This drama is based on the Korean webtoon “멜로홀릭/Meloholic” by “팀겟네임/Team Get-Name” which was published from 2010-March-9 to 2013-August-27.

 

Having the ability to see a person’s true thoughts and feelings can be more of a curse than a gift. Yoo Eun Ho (Jung Yoon Ho) is a young man who has the ability to read people’s minds when he touches them. The ability to read people’s innermost thoughts, and finding out people don’t say what they mean and don’t mean what they say, has made Eun Ho mistrustful and wary of people, especially potential relationship prospects.

 

But when Eun Ho meets the beautiful Han Ye Ri (Kyung Soo Jin), he discovers that she is very different from other women he has known. But when that difference includes two different personalities, what will Eun Ho make of Ye Ri?

TVXQ’s Yunho To Make Acting Comeback Through Lead Role In Drama Directed By “Another Oh Hae Young” PD

On May 25, it was confirmed that TVXQ’s Yunho will be making a comeback as an actor through a drama titled “Meloholic” (working title).

“Meloholic” is based on a webtoon in which the lead character, who has the power to read people’s minds, meets and falls in love with a woman who has a split personality.

The news is attracting a good deal of attention as this will be his first project since being discharged from the military a month ago. Furthermore, the drama will be headed by PD Song Hyun Wook, who has directed dramas like “Another Oh Hae Young,” “Introvert Boss,” and “Marriage, Not Dating.” The multi-platform drama will be produced by the same team that produced popular KBS2 drama “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” and will begin filming late May.

After returning from his mandatory military service in April, his first work back will be through the drama. The production is based off a Naver webtoon that tells the story of a man who can read minds and a woman who is two-faced.

The drama will be managed by PD Song Hyun Woon of 'Oh Hae Young Again' and 'Introverted Boss'. It'll start filming at the end of May!

The PD of Oh Hae-young Again and Introverted Boss has announced his next drama, titled Meloholic, and already we have casting confirmation for both its leads: DBSK’s U-Know Yunho (Records of a Night Watchman) in his post-army comeback (he completed his service last month), and Kyung Su-jin (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-ju) as his co-star. I’m surprised this drama isn’t playing the coy will-they-or-won’t-they casting game like every other show does these days, but I won’t complain about it............

The drama series is slated to stream online as a webdrama and also air on a television network, but exact details have not been finalized. For U-Know Yunho, this is his first acting performance since being discharged from the military on April 20, 2017. Story for the drama series follows a man with telepathic perception and a woman with two personalities.

A leading lady has been confirmed for upcoming drama, “Meloholic” (working title)!

After reports of her casting, actress Kyung Soo Jin’s agency Star House affirmed the news that she will be playing the female lead in a new production that will star TVXQ’s Yunho as the male lead.

“Meloholic” is a romantic comedy and mystery drama based on a webtoon of the same name, where a man who has the ability to read minds falls in love with a woman with a split personality. Kyung Soo Jin most recently starred in “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo,” and many are looking forward to seeing how she will pull off double personalities in this upcoming project.

The drama itself will be headed by producing director Song Hyun Wook, who recently gained much success with his direction of tvN’s “Another Oh Hae Young.” Furthermore, the drama will be produced by the same team that produced KBS’s hit drama, “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.”

Son Ho Jun Proves His Loyalty To TVXQ’s Yunho By Sending A Coffee Truck To His Drama Set

Actor Son Ho Jun proved just how close he is with TVXQ’s Yunho by sending a coffee truck to the set of Yunho’s upcoming drama, “Meloholic” (working title).

On May 28, a coffee support truck business posted a short video on their Instagram with the caption, “Fans already know that these two are inseparable. Actor Son Ho Jun sent a coffee truck to the set of actor Jung Yunho’s web drama ‘Meloholic.’ It is actor Jung Yunho’s first work since discharge. We report that ‘Meloholic’ will be a hit!”

 

 

In the video, Son Ho Joon also sent a short message to his best friend through a banner which reads, “To my lovely friend Yunho, who I’m always grateful and sorry towards. Fighting! From Son Ho Jun, who is Yunhoholic.”

Hilariously, it seems like the television in the truck was playing a clip of a show they appeared in together when they were much younger.

Meanwhile, “Meloholic” revolves around a man who is able to read the thoughts of others and meets a woman with a split personality.
