I like how Vengo chose different characters and drama's genre. This year we saw him as a Heavenly Emperor, an explorer,  a detective and next, a doctor. Soon , he'll act as a soldier. Hopefully, I will get to see him in a historical and a cute modern romance dramas.

Per QuangNhiet FB, V will be @ 8th China Internet Audio & Video Industry Summit (divided in 2 parts, V will be there in the afternoon) on 10/14. He will also be @ Cartier event in Shanghai on 10/16 (as @Eery2 said in previous post) & supposed to be @ the award ceremony The Actors of China on 11/26 - supposedly he should be done filming Blue Lightning in November. There’s also a rumor V will be in a movie, so I’m crossing fingers that comes true for him because he did say in previous interview with zyl  (“Furen” one, ) that was his wish. We’ll see...

 

Hopefully he’ll be with R when he gets to Shanghai {think she’s shooting You Are My Glory there(?)}..

 

Looking forward to seeing pics of handsome V...hopefully we’ll get sprinkles of sugar in the upcoming days/week (missing them)..

Edit: CONGRATS to V!!! He reached 11 million followers on weibo. WOWEE!!!

Hi everyone!  Has anyone read the book for Reba's new drama, "You're My Glory"?  I read up through Chapter 23 right now.  So far some of the situation in the storyline reminds of V and R situation.  Also, in the story, R has to form a team with some professional game players and guess what is their team's name?  "Good Luck Come"!  In Chinese, it's "好运来".  Familiar?  That's Vengo's favorite song.

@Eery2 that’s all the info I have for now - that it’s just a rumor of V being in a big movie, but there’s no other info (no title, actors, etc.) for right now..but, if I see/read anything else about it or if it comes to actual fruition, I’ll be sure to post here (or I’m sure, someone else will if they hear/see more about this, too) .. Wow it beat Love and Redemption?? The online hype for that drama is insane. Speaking of which, I did watch that drama. It's pretty good and sweet, but no where near our couple's chemistry in ELOD. Also it's more similar to The Untamed than ELOD in terms of amount of drama and sects conflicts even if there is also a "Dijun" character. Haha (sorry off topic)

Well in the data above Love and Redemption was no. 2. I mean Elod is still the highest viewed show this year and it didn't get the hype near as big as love and redemption got. It just mean they have more casual viewers pmwho doesn't really active on internet as viewers. 

I don't know, i think there is this sweetness feel of real couple in love between them in elod that can't be found in any other dramas even when they're played by real couple as well. I mean even in real life V and R is a very sweet couple as witnessed by their fellow actors who  has eaten too much dog food

I was wondering who got Vengo to wear such a bright green jacket. Based on his past clothing, he doesn't look like the type that would personally pick such a colour. But it makes sense if he wore it to please someone

Did they stay at the same place when in Chengdu?

I read in GR CP comment a while ago that V has a rich uncle in Chengdu, well they assume he's rich since the house in Chengdu looked posh. I also notice when Reba had an event in Chengdu last month she stay for 2 days there and JX didn't post pre-event photos like they always do. May be they stay at this uncle's house
