2nd CP does not have much interactions this episode though.. (The only interaction I remember was at the police station.)

With a total of 20 episodes, they might only start getting close around the midpoint I guess?


I'm happy that it seems the main characters (or at least Shao Fei) seems to be gay/bi, as he doesn't reply with the usual "I don't like guys/I like women" answers when confronted about his feelings about Tang Yi.

Examples: 

Li An mentioning about Shao Fei's obsession with Tang Yi "People who don't know would have thought you had a crush on Tang Yi."
Shao Fei replied "Crush your head, he is Triad/Mafia, I'm a policeman"
 

And also Li An mentioning that Tang Yi is so handsome when he smiled, that he should have been an Artiste (Actor etc.) instead of Triad/Mafia. That with Tang Yi's handsome smile, he would have alot of fans, not only girls will like, guys will like too!

Also a few spoilers on the wiki page of the show that reveals some backstory ( probably gonna get revealed later into the show.)

We know that Tang Yi was the sole survivor of a shooting case 4 years ago , total of 3 people were shot including Tang Yi.

The other two were Tang Guo Dong (The boss of the Triad that Tang Yi is currently leading, same surname, so he might be a stepfather/mentor of Tang Yi.)
And Li Li Zhen (A policewoman and senior of Shao Fei who took care of him since his police academy days, like a mother to him.)

Because Li Li Zhen was shot together with two members of the Triad, people began to gossip and suspect that she might have something to do with them. But with Tang Yi saying he don't remember what happened/ don't remember the shooter. Shao Fei wants to prove her innocence which is why he is so adamant on chasing after Tang Yi to clear the case from 4 years ago because he believed that Tang Yi is hiding something.

Tang Yi himself has been setting the trap (Title alert!) for 4 years to find and kill the killer of Tang Guo Dong, someone he looks up and respects deeply. But of course, he didn't expect Shao Fei to come into the picture...

Am I the only one who is a bit disappointed with Trap? The previous HIStory were much better written and acted. Especially Crossing the Line. The mafia guy was kind of okay, but the police guy is just too unnatural...

I feel overall, it's comparable to the previous series...except since it is of much more episodes, the pace is slower. The previous stories would feel more compacted. I'm ok with the acting, perhaps not the best among all the stories but they all got their appeal. 

 

And i admit the mafia and police plots (plus the fighting parts) are slightly unrealistic but since it's more of a happy BL plot with some humor, i overlook them.

 

Ep 11 and 12 are "hot"...esp 12...haha.

I'm already invested in the story, so i won't stop watching just yet. But the show just feel like fan service... Still not fan of the police guy's acting. He is just awkward, unnatural and not at par with his counterpart

They have started filming the 2nd story of History 3. Initially called 奇迹 Miracle, now changed to 那一天 (loosely translated as That One Day). Think it's school-life-related.
