i guess they are afraid if they do sit together, there is a possibility that they cannot control their fondness for each other and their interactions or actions may give them away......

no matter how many times i re-watch, this drama never fail to make my heart flutter at their closeness and naturalness, eg in Ep 11, after agreeing to go to the ice-cream place and leaving the carpark, HSJ puts his arm on JSM's shoulder and hers at his waist, i can see him uses his left hand to pull JSM's fingers (or am i seeing illusions?).  Also like the way they playfully hold their hands on their way there.

I'm not sure with translation of JSM's, just quite like that. I think she refer to HSJ's next posting on his IG (in the same scene, but he wass alone took selca) when he stated how sleepy and tired he is, and JSM comment "Jaedo, me too" but seemed like she don't want to make any 'attention' in his own photo so she prefer to leave comment on 'together selca' hehe, and I have the feeling that KSY FD's picture is also to avoid netizen's suspicion if he just post selca just with 'her' hehe. So for me, these two people are aware for each other, at the same time don't want to make it obvious, at the same time don't want to make any 'shipping alarm' attention, at the same time want to show affection for each other.... oh how should I describe it better! Hope you guys understand what I mean even without good explanation from me coz I can't give any better explanation kekeke

Do you still remember that HSJ sent message to JSM after their wrap up party or some drinking together event, I don't remember, that she -JSM- is the first woman that leave the party after him, because he always come back last. And JSM replied that he can take taxi to go home, if he want to stay longer, longer than her. This make me feel how he showed affection for her and they sure get in touch each other right? How often we saw that they shared something on their own phone in BTS and sure outside BTS's photos and videos. They sure know each other IG account, it's too obvious, there is so much postings back then where fans tagged them together in IG. But the fact that they keep themselves in the distance of people's attention is really something hehe, for me it makes the situation more special than the common... isn't it? hehe ok I'll leave it, please share your mind about it, I'm not expert to analyze something like this

I promise to finish My Ear's Candy of JSM from Ep.11 but actually I'm still in the first process, but I hope I can finish it soon. And btw, JSM recently post in her IG, the videos of Gamjatang! Just wonder if it is related to her Candy, LJJ or not hehe. They make promise to eat together right? Either eat Gamjatang, mackarel fish soup (?) or something like that. I'm still hope she has fate with HSJ, eventhough I enjoyed her chemistry with LJJ, but HSJ still no.1 priority. Hello, ladies! I hope you all are having a lovely time. I'm enjoying reading the thoughts here and really swimming in the fluffy possibility.  Like I always said before, I don't really ship drama OTPs beyond their characters, because I can always separate real life from fiction. It's always enough for me that there's a sincere friendship or even just a really good mutual respect between colleagues, and onscreen chemistry can remain onscreen because that's what it basically is, that's what their service to me is: cinema magic. Make us believe that these people, *are* falling in love. 

But with Seokjin and Somin - I guess it's 99% fueled by how great they were becoming Jaein and Dada, but that 1% possibility of a real-life magic is also niggling at me. There's an angel on my right shoulder, who whispers to my head that, it's just that: these flutters are JaeinxDada-induced tickles. There's a really loud red devil on my left shoulder, though, fanning the coals of the temptation to see them under more romantic lenses. They're both single (well, at least, Seokjin claims he is; whether he actually is or not is up to him and his conscience) and they look good together--they really are so physically matched: complementary in features and @jellybellymonster aptly illustrated, perfectly lined up in height difference, and they seem to have a great vibe between them and they were playing a couple falling in love for two months. The reel can seep into the real, and vice-versa.

@zae91 - I'm not really 100% confident of my understanding of Somin's comment on their photo in Seokjin's Instagram, but I'm pretty sure that "오라버니" ("orabeoni") is the formal term for "oppa." Taking in the whole statement, in my very beginner's Korean, I think she's asking for a copy of the photo that Seokjin posted. The entire statement is something like "To me, too, this photo, orabeoni." And because Korean grammar has a certain syntax, if I'm not mistaken, this can be translated roughly as "Please give me this photo, too, oppa." I can only speculate at the context of her using "orabeoni," maybe like a term of both respect and endearment; or simply teasing, maybe? In any case, this just says she calls Seokjin oppa outside of the formal bounds of decorum when referring to him (in interviews, she's always in "Seokjin ssi" mode).  

@canbeMIA - Oh, so he unfollowed Yoon Sohee, didn't he? She's quite young, but very feminine and tall and would line up pretty well against Seokjin's description of his ideal type. I haven't seen their "After the Play Ends," so I can't actually comment on that, but I did see their periodic table clip on "Problematic Men." And on the first anniversary greeting clip that I saw, he mentioned that moment with Sohee as one of the most memorable (because he enjoyed it) to him. Sohee strikes me as his rubberball flirtation  - you know, he flirts with her because he's just his type, but she came across oblivious or deliberately ignoring his moves. I'm pretty sure there's the age difference (they're more than 10 years apart), and though he looks good, from Sohee's age's perspective, he is pretty much ajusshi.  Anyway, my point (if I have one? :D) is I see where you're going with this, @canbeMIA. I think I'm going there too. (No whiskey or beer--or anything alcoholic for me for now. That got me in so much trouble! But that's a story for another day...or never.)

This Instagram saga, though, is still pretty interesting. I have my romantic blinders on, but I'm making sure that I still have full control of my logic and sense. There's a sprinkling of love dust in the air--I know we all can sniff it and feel it, and here's hoping it settles to bloom and grow ever stronger roots at the right time, in the right hearts. How lovely it would be if the right heart turned out to be each other. It is also with a hopeless romantic heart that I send out a wish that they find themselves facing the altar soon, like our favorite reference (that's Sooyoung and Hasun, spelled out), actor-couple-newlyweds. 

I cannot help it with these two. Please (don't!) send help.

As what @Karen Xiao said, it is kinda strange that they don't sit together in their gatherings. I do agree with @Janice Tay , one reason that they don't sit together is because they might not control to show their fondness to each other. As what we saw in their BTS videos and pictures, they had their own world when they were alone. Also, I think they don't want people to "speculate" more(?) because as what SeokJin said, lemme quote "we are always together that if we don't socialize with the staffs they might think we are dating, but I do talk with the staffs too."  Sound defensive, no? hahahaha..

chinguya/unnie @zae91 heheheh you are here! yay!!  thank you for posting JSM's comment. I was too lazy to find it and post it here. And @hazelnutthursdays translation is right. She was asking seokjin to send her the picture too. The funny thing with her comment is its SOUND. As you can see, she wrote  "오라버니"  separately; it is not part of her first sentence. So if you write it in English, it goes like this, " Please give me this photo, too. Oppa..... (with many periods after.. hahaha..) If you'll take it grammatically, she still has something to say after Oppa, but I won't make it a big deal anymore because this is JSM's way of writing, if you've noticed in her IG posts.  So to me, this comment has many inside jokes hahaha. She was kind of showing respect (for the sake of those who will read it ) and at the same time teasing him.  

and yes @zae91 the first time I checked his instagram, he followed 9 women, and now, he only has 8. If you'll check YSH's instagram, she still follows SeokJin, though. Hehe. And as to the reason why he unfollowed her, I can't answer that LOL. No one knows..... but let us not talk about it anymore because I honestly don't like the girl hahahaha.

About YSH, I feel that HSJ is quite logic about what the moment he most remember in Problematic Men (that time) since he compete with her to guess chemistry periodic table. But I don't see any gaze of him to her in After The Play Ends, but I feel that she is more into him than otherwise. And their age gap is quite far, so there is quite different maturity level. I just think that HSJ is the type who want the girlfriend who can make him like himself and like what he said before, make him satisfied just by looking her eyes. Since I think he is quite dominant, then maybe he will prefer the girl who is qualified for him but not stronger (in term of 'power') than him, maybe either from girl's family background, social background or career status. I just guess it from psychology books I've read. Ok, I won't go too far to analyze hehe

Let's check about it. Shrek (1) released 2001, Shrek 2 (2004) Shrek the Third (2007), and Shrek Forever After (2010).Which one of Shrek? hehe. And How to Train Your Dragon (1) released 2010 and (2nd) released 2014. So... maybe when he stated that he was single for more than 4 years in I live Alone is not fully true? But I have the feeling that he has been single after 2014 until filming 1%, just the feeling. So in my eyes, he seemed not too serious lately about dating that have intention into marriage... but I wonder if he still the same, since he is mature enough and his leading lady in drama already married not long ago

On my umpteenth time of rewatching this drama, I just realized the Yoon Sohee was name-checked in one of the episodes. It's that scene where Dada asked Jaein if it was true that he did have a child who's being raised in the US.  And that Jaein threatened her with a lawsuit for spreading false news and defamation. There were other names there, too, but unfamiliar (though if it's the same Kang Mira, then she's a singer). There might be a bit of meta in there--models/singers/actresses/celebs who are linked with Ha Seokjin.

It looks like we're getting a Seokjin drama soon. A role exactly up his alley. I'm hoping we get to hear from Somin again soon, too. I hope she takes on more romcom roles - she seems suited to it, too. (It's cute, digging around, found that Ryu Sooyoung, Park Hasun's husband, has been a Jeon Somin past co-star. The world is big until we find that it sometimes doesn't feel so )

But tell me, please, how to move on from this drama? (Or. You know? Don't. :D)

Wahahahaha her name was mentioned @hazelnutthursdays ?? hahahha I need to watch that part again later. All throughout the drama I have this idea/feeling that the writer revised his story according to JSM and HSJ's real personalities. It's like everything was adjusted in accordance to their real life stories. Like this one, I think all those names that Dada mentioned were names of women who were rumored with Sukjin and as for Somin, to name one, the giving of necklace which is not part of the original, right?. If you've seen knowing brothers, JSM mentioned that she really loves it when her man gives her a necklace because it gives her the feeling that she is "owned" by him. So, it really make sense why JSM is very similar with Dada and Sukjin to LJI (though he said that he does not resemble LJI much) because the story was really MADE/REVISED FOR THEM. IDK if the author personally knows JSM and HSJ or he was able to talk to them beforehand or he "studied" them from afar while he was revising his story.~

Zae @zae91 I think YSH really left a great impression on HSJ during the PM episode hence the mention of her name during the anniversary, which I think urged the producers to cast them together in after the show ends. As what @hazelnutthursdays said, she fits to his ideals, and I honestly think the same. I did not see their drama but I saw some clips and I noticed/saw their "connection" but like what you said, she was MORE into him (this is verified by @jellybellymonster haha). HSJ was actually reciprocating the flirting but "fortunately" he slowed a bit at the last few episodes. As for your "hunches" that he hasn't had a serious relationship before,I feel the same. Hmmmm maybe he has (?) but not to the extent of considering "her" in bringing to the altar. hahaha. You also wonder if he's changed. For me, HE HAS! Remember his answer in that TAXI  segment and his July and October interviews? He is ready for such sweetness and his ideals have changed, except for the tall, feminine, white skin woman. So what made him change? Is it because of his age? His experiences? or he's been keeping his eye on someone? I really do believe with what Adam Levine said, "You will never think nor consider marriage until you found the one that you really want to marry to." and I think this applies to HSJ.

I remember I was about to sleep and browsing IG and seeing THAT. Prior to stalking researching following HSJ's and JSM's IG accounts I didn't even know about the feature of seeing what posts those you are following liked nor that post notification can only be enabled when you follow an account. How wonderful is this pair that made me check out Instagram's features? That HSJ purposely pulled up JSM's account and liked her post just about confirms our suspicions (and also hopes) that they might be checking each others accounts from time to time. HAHAHA I remember us @canbeMIA poring over that orabeoni comment before. I heard JSM call HSJ sunbae-nim or HSJ-ssi (in front of the press) or oppa (BTS and she sometime slips in front of the press. Girl is confused how to address HSJ in the press! Cuuuute!) but never orabeoni which is the ooold formal way of addressing an older brother. They must be joking with one another or you know, just throwing every body's suspicion off with the formality. Yeah, like that worked with us.

If any one is interested, the title of the Japanese manga JSM is checking out from the library is Glass Mask by Suzue Miuchi. Which started in 1984 and is still ongoing! There was a tvN drama a couple of years ago called Glass Mask but I do not think that's an adaptation since that involved murder. I can definitely see why JSM might be checking this out. It's about the journey of a passionate-with-her-craft actress who wants to prove her worth. If she's reading this for research (pun intended) for her next role, then I'm definitely excited!

@tibba, you might also consider going into a new career as a detective? Nice find with IG! It's so funny how we can compose loooong posts about IG comments and likes. While sweet, I thought the entire exchange was sort of cringey, but I guess that's just because I don't have a romantic bone in my body. How JSM can stand speaking with LJJ on the other line- with his voice being that sexy because goodness it does things to me- I can't begin to fathom. Actually who am kidding? I'll probably be giggly and excitable if I had him talking over the phone with me. I'm a fan of his, if you can't tell yet lol. He's such a beautiful man. If they have kids, dang the kids'll have killer smiles! So yes, I agree they'd be cute together as well.

 

Looking at the photos of JSM posted here and honestly she fascinates me. I think I've mentioned before that she can pull off any look, but how is it that she looks different every time and still looks gorgeous any way? I can tell it's still her, but she gives off different vibes in each picture. I think this probably translates to her acting as well, so I'm really looking forward to her next project. I hope it's something titillating because I do think she can be a versatile actress.

Also want to say that the poster shoot interview gifs are so cute! HSJ looks so pleased with himself after wrangling that English greeting from JSM hee. The poster shoot bts is one of my favourites simply because they look so happy/comfy/chummy/adorable together. Plus HSJ gives off the little boy who just loves teasing his crush/buddy vibe there which is just so precious.

In other news, I still rewatch eps but I believe I'm slowing down somewhat. I have the eps saved in my phone, and sneak watch certain scenes at work to tide me over when I need a pick-me-up. I have the dialogues down pat, but somehow manage to still pick out new details with every rewatch! For now I'm holding out on watching other romcoms, and holding this drama close to my heart because ugh I have apparently developed newfound obsessive qualities.

Oh and by the way @canbeMIA can you tell me how you manage to sound so chipper all the time? Your posts never fail to tickle me silly, you must be the life of the party in real life  Please share your secret or tell me where I can locate this fountain of positivity! On second thought @jellybellymonster I'm adding you to this list as well. Is there somewhere I should move to or some secret club I should be a part of, where we examine curious nuggets of seemingly important information together as we whittle our lives away? Looks like uri JSM is having fun with Instagram Live. She is so happy today showing around her cake during the live and giving closeups. I think she went for a class. Maybe to give to her friends on Valentine's Day as @canbeMIA told me. Or yunno, to prepare for White Day next month.

@tibba heeee! I think it's become second nature to me. If I may give a background, my work mostly involves auditing so I'm always looking for evidence and then analyzing them and forming an opinion. I knew I was digging my own grave when I joined here because I will hunt down anything and then overanalyze it. 

Anyway, I just miss watching 1%. You think you've moved on from the drama and then just one clip in Instagram and you're back to rewatching episodes. HALP!!!  Or maybe not. I do not get sick watching them. I'm still astonished with my reaction to their pairing. This has never happened before. I move on from dramas fast. This one is the only exception because I felt empty after it ended. And I ate a lot of what I said before that I do not get interested in actors' personal lives but now I've become so invested in their lives it's not even funny.

So, yesterday, someone who is Seokmin fan from Busan, South Korea (she probably a female), sent a message to me and asked whether I'm the same person with the one from this forum, since she tried to find member id in IG and I have the same id, so from that, we talked much about Seokmin. Her English is good, and she is really kind  she gave some informations that we missed and correct an information from this thread as well. She read this thread from the first page and really glad that we are all here are get along well and amazed with Int' fans' power. She enjoyed read this thread, and also likes Drama Addict YT channel, especially 37min Ost. I also asked her if I need her help to translate and asked her if she has new informations, and she don't mind as long as she could, especially for Somin (she is more into Somin, like some of us here hehe). So we have new squad here (even though she is not a member of this forum) who is really capable and lovely

First, yes, I also noticed about it like @hazelnutthursdays, Yoon So Hee name mentioned in 1% drama as Jae In's ex, hehe it's give me the same feeling when Jae In fight her back with "You might be dating with Oppa church before this" and remind me with Yoon Hyun Min hehe. I wonder if the writer do it intentionally or not keke. Ah ya, honestly I like Somin's guy around her like Yoon Hyun Min and Lee Jung Jin, I mean, she is surrounded by good and handsome guys hehe. I love I Live Alone show and YHM is one of the guest there. The horoscope prediction of him tell that he will meet her future wife in near time in a party, so I just wondering that if he will get married, it also the best time for Somin eonni, since they already in mature age right? and when I know that Kim Soo Hyun and Ahn Soo Hee who are quite young are rumored to get married this March, it makes me really want to hear married news from Seokmin. Everybody are getting married so, there is no time to wait, what are you both waiting for? hehe, but ya, everybody have their own time, so we just need to trust and wait for them to tie a knot, no matter when it will come...

So I will back to talk about a korean fan who give the informations. She attended Fan Meeting as well, and she took some photos there. So, here is what she told to me:
1. Ha Seok Jin had a girlfriend till 2015 fall (He said it when he became guest in tvN TAXI)
2. Last winter (Christmas, December 2016), Ha Seok Jin told that he is single. He said "I'm solo (single)" here

 
3. And about Somin's essay in her IG, it's not about her ex but about her friend's ex :). This fan tell that even her self is hard to understand what Somin wrote even though she is korean hehe

4. Yap, Somin never give like to Seokjin's post in IG

First, thank you "Busan Friend" for visiting the thread and for taking an effort to talk to our friend here on instagram and for giving us those tidbits that she shared. We'd be very glad to see you here. Everyone will surely welcome you since this thread is for everyone. So please, don't hesitate to show up if you want to.   (I hope you can read this)~

Second, as always, thank you @zae91 for your hardwork and effort. You got me so excited when you sent me a DM saying that you were able to talk to a Korean fan. Thank you for sharing.  

@tibba babe, there is no "solid" club yet (there is actually but it's a secret LOL) but I'll let you know if it's "well-built" already. HAHAHA And no, I am not the life of the party in real life, I MAKE THE PARTY! AHAHA kidding..my mood changes faster than our weather, haha so yeah, it depends on my mood. >_< Thank you for the compliment (yes I take it as a compliment) I like you, now! HAHAHA

Why am I here again? ahhh yeah, I have things to say. They are as follows:

1. Zae provided a GT translation of the Dispatch article that I shared on the previous page but from different site. In that article, it stated that after SeokJin watched Dreamworks' movies like SHREK and How to train your dragon, he always broke up with his girlfriend. But in the Dispatch article, they wrote KUNGFU PANDA AND HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, not Shrek. So if we look at the date of its airing, the latest was last January 2016, the second was on 2011 and the first was on 2008,  so now, which Kungfu panda did seokjin watch? because if it's the latest one, that means, he has a girlfriend last January 2016

2. Yoon Soo Hee's name was not mentioned in the drama. Yes, it sounded the same but it was actually different. Dada said, Yoon Soo Hui (not sure with the spelling), and those other names that she mentioned were unknown except for the other one who is a man(Igoogled it). I think the names were just "made" by the writer himself because it would be complicated and difficult to mention REAL names of women who are connected to HSJ in the drama.

3. As to Somin's Instagram caption or essay, whatever you call it.... Sorry, but I kinda don't believe that it was ABOUT her friend's ex and not hers. It would be weird to write her friend's story and post it on her own instagram account. I am not questioning someone's ability in understanding Korean here but it is just hard for me to believe that it was not hers. Also, I think all of us were able to read stroppyse translation of that caption, right? Somin used "MY ex-boyfriend" and not My friend's ex-boyfriend. Yes, Somin confuses the hell out of me because of her vague captions but I have a strong feeling that it was about her ex-BF. 

4. So HSJ has a GF last Fall of 2015?? but when he guested in I Live Alone, which was on October 2015 (fall season), he said that he's been having a hard time finding true love for the last 4 years. Did he break up with her before his guesting or he was PLAINLY lying? 

5. So he said  "I am Solo" in that video? hmmmmm.. IDK if being SOLO means being SINGLE in korea but since this comes from a Korean, so maybe it really is. (I am still dying to know the translation of the whole video, though). Well, if he is single, who cares? I've never believed him anyway. LOL I am not doubting his honesty because he's always been candid and honest in his interviews. I believe all that he said except for his relationship status.  Did you ever hear him say that he is dating in his past interviews? there was never a time that he said yes. Was it just a co-incidence that every time he's asked about his relationship, he's also single??? hmmmmm... The man will never, ever say nor admit anything if he is dating. I am not saying that he is dating and he chose to lie about it in that video,okay?Haha.. What I am trying to say is, his "I AM NOT DATING SOMEONE RIGHT NOW" COULD mean "I AM ACTUALLY DATING BUT I WILL NOT TELL YOU" because you know, sometimes, saying NO is the safest AND EASIEST way to escape from being asked more. So do not expect a "yes I am dating RN" answer from him. We will only hear something from him when he gets married. Welllll.... if he will surprise us, who knows? hahaha like the insta "like", that was indeed a big surprise, at least for me.  (I like surprises, so..... I shall wait with not too much hope. HAHA) 

EDIT: if he is INDEED single last December and that makes you upset, then go... be upset!HAHAAHHA kidding...Just think that great relationships start with friendship, and isn't the OUT-OF-NOWHERE like on instagram a SIGN that they are FRIENDS? HAHA

Ya @canbeMIA our minds are almost always going in the same direction! *high-five* (We need soju and ask ourselves what crazy stuff we got ourselves into) When I read that he last had a GF fall of 2015 I immediately thought of I Live Alone where he said he was struggling to find love for several years. Just like you, I am not calling him an outright liar. We all know how Korean entertainment industry works which is to deny everything to death (that is until Dispatch publishes photos) and also how HSJ has been extremely private. We really have no business in his private life so he can say anything he wants because he doesn't owe any of us. I think all of us here have been having reactions ranging from "LOL" to" Suuuuure, dude" when he says that he isn't dating anyone for so long.

Regarding the I'm solo (single) comment... (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ ...  (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ ...  (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ ... I don't know if I should screammmmm or be happy. That could mean a number of things. With K- Entertainment, choose your own interpretation. And this guy will never ever admit anything while he is dating someone. There might be some truth to he is struggling to find love for 4 years; which could mean he dates around but has never found real love. Wait.. I just wrote that and I'm now swimming in delulu thoughts because that makes him sound like a real life LJI who will maybe one day find his real life Dada, if he hasn't found her already.
