Hello, ladies, (and God bless ye, merry gentlemen - if there are any - it's just my favorite Christmas carol and would love the opportunity to use it. :D) 

I'm operating on KST, as many drama addicts do, I suppose ;D, so it's past Christmas Day and Boxing Day but I just wanted to drop in a great wish for everyone. I hope you've kissed someone wonderful under the mistletoe and shared a warm cup beside a cozy fireplace, the way Jae-in and Dada perhaps celebrated this special day.  

I have some more things to work on, on the first post - yes, my dear lovelies, I haven't forgotten. I promise to get to them, one by one, slowly, bit by bit (you get the picture!). I'm loving all the contributions here, and I might spend one lazy weekend in the near future just going back through the pages and sighing my heart out. In spirit of it being Christmas and all, let me just express my gratitude to you, every one of you, for being absolutely lovely.

Would like to come out honest and straightforward, I ship seokmin!!! Wahahah.. I just finished watching, all 16 episodes in less than 24 hours!!! and got pretty sick cause my body is not tat young anymore hahaha.. No regret coz seokmin is loveeee

My colleague suggested this show coz I am on a week leave with no plan and I'm so thankful it turns out great. What an awesome chemistry!! Its like two people dating for real! And I super love the fact the show has great characters and all about the couple. Hsj, he is.... Waaa, he is a new discovery to me, yummmyyy.. So masculine, grumpy and kind of I don't care type, oh so attractive hehehe..

And jsm is love! She's so earnest, but never overboard, like the cool pretty lady all the girls would like to be best friend with! 

And I found you guys!!!! Thank you for having this thread, I will back read every single post and looking forward towards whenever this ship will reach its dock

@saaraahaanaaI concur. I think what makes them so appealing to me is that they're both not try-hards, and don't seem overly conscious about their image.

@naritul I miss them, too! Been trying to watch a bunch of other drama to get over SeokMin, but I have to say it was a great remake I've seen.

I always meant to share this, but then when I get to post, something or the other overtakes my thoughts and I can't quite remember until much later. I suppose this should go into the drama thread more than here (and so I will probably share it there too at another time, when I have some more things to say to beef up what I'm already saying, but here goes:

I shared to the Soompi contributors and editorial team the Godin Media social media (Instagram and Naver blog) posts about the Soompi thread and how lovely it is that our fair @gladys57 has spoken of our presence. For such a relatively small drama, it's gotten quite some dedicated fan love and I'm glad that we've found a place to thrive in here.  As you know, Soompi is now under Viki, and it is my sincere hope that while "1% of Something" has been consistently doing well in Dramafever, I'd also see it in Viki (where I have the account), and to be closer to us in the Soompi community.  All you lovelies are love.

Omo! Thank god you posted an update @turtle0217! I knew I was forgetting something. My book has arrived!!! I was surprised that it only took about a day for Fedex to deliver it. I received an email that it was shipped on the 29th and Fedex called me in the morning of 30th to tell me my package will be delivered in the afternoon. I retuned home really late and wasn't able to post because I catched up on drama episodes that I missed that day (priorities of a fangirl, right?).

I did open the package that night and browsed through the PB and the book. I was spazzing again looking at the BTS pics. Every page was uploaded already but I was happy looking at them personally. They did film a looot in a day. Sometimes scenes spanning several episodes in a day. Sometimes they film scenes from the same episode over days, like episode 9. They filmed for a total of 34 days; last shooting day was on July 30th. The chronological order of scenes as they are filmed are sooo whacked when compared to the episodes. I think one of the clues we have how early or late the filming was is HSJs hair - sometimes it magically becomes short (most hotel scenes) and becomes long in the next. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am amazed that whatever order of the scenes they are shooting, they are pretty consistent since Day 1 in showing emotions of a couple dating and falling deeply in love. And that's fuel to my burning shipper flame.

This is how the books look like without the drama tie-in jacket sleeves. Each volume is around 400 pages. 

There are 32 chapters, not including the prologue and epilogue. Since this is a complete rewrite of the original, the chapter titles are almost the same as episode titles or named after a scene from the drama. There's a chapter with the infamous, "Close your eyes and I will kiss you." The chapters all come with illustrations like those in the drama title cards.

Thank you, dear @zae91 for the subbed video of Somin-ah on "My Ear's Candy." This lady is soooo ripe for love and romance. I feel giddy just watching her be giddy and excited and all fluttery. I guess that's why it had been a very beautiful experience for her to be Kim Dahyun, and to have a Jaein to fall in love with. She's really Dada personified.

Hello Madam @gladys57 - I guess I'm eating my words because Jeon Somin stepped out for the MBC Awards on one of those year-end nights. I hope you got to have a glimpse of her in the flesh. I loved how simple she looked that night. I wasn't able to catch it (nor did I any of the awards nor the music festivals), but I'm glad we get to see her in a red carpet look.

Have a great year ahead, Spazzland! I wish for more beautiful work from Sukjin and Somin, and sending out a wish that they find themselves working together again, even in a short project.
