From 0:32 (when she falls into his arms from the chair) - JSM is quick to turn to the director/pds as soon as the scene ends. I wish we could hear what she's saying. She does this for the other scenes in this bts (the kiss scenes) too. 

0:43 - the version of the kiss that didn't make it to the drama cut. HSJ's hand goes up to her head in his favoured kissing style ㅋㅋ (I feel like for every kiss scene in the drama where his hands remain below her shoulders, there are scenes with his hand/s on her head that are edited out ㅋㅋ). And the way he adjusts her head to get another angle (*fans self*).

1:05 - they break apart and again JSM immediately turns to the director (ah to be able to hear what they're saying ㅜㅜ), probably reviewing the scene. HSJ acts like he's shy here but I really think he's just joking around and teasing JSM lol. Because at 1:10, his eyes shift sideways to look at JSM to see if she notices, while still holding his shy pose. And after that they both turned to look at each other at the same time (so in sync) and JSM finally notices his shy pose which got her laughing and retaliating. Before she turns back to the staff lol. I guess she's shy and trying to be professional and cool here?

1:35 - HSJ fooling around again lol, looking like he was going to grab her head for a passionate kiss.

One bts that i really like is this.

At the start HSJ fixed her arms then i think he got shy when he looked at her face. I wish i could understand what he said when JSM was trying to hug him from his waist. I think he got shy again. Also @ 0:41 after they kissed, are they laughing because someone's nose got runny? They're so comfortable w/ each other.. and that song my gosh, i'm in love..so perfect for this couple

chinguya @zae91 thank youuuuuuuuuu!!!so resourceful... and those pictures and GIFS from DC are sooooo lovely!!! I so love them esp. JSM's.. She is really pretty. I am crushing so hard.  The DC is never really quite no?  It's been 3 weeks since the drama ended, but like us, many of them can't still move on. 

@minahnoona that is one of my fave BTS too.   IDK if he was just teasing her,but for me, i feel like he was shy LOL HSJ could not even look at her in the eyes. This is one my faves. because I like how close their bodies were. My goodness!! he literally felt everything (y'know what i mean), and his hands, those hands were soooo comfortable, no?  kinda low... hmmmm and JSM is really petite, HSJ can even hug her with just one arm. 

and you posted them chinguya @jellybellymonster hahahaha.. The second GIF is now even cuter that @zae91 mentioned the translation. "She said you only love me, right?" was it Dahyun asking or JSM? (excuse my delulu) Plus the first GIF, like what I told you, I think she bumped into something and then she told him, like a baby telling her dad that she's hurt. Cuteeee

BTW, about the first translation of the FM, like what @gladys57 mentioned in the drama thread, we can really see their chemistry in real life.  It is also amazing how HSJ seemed to remember everything, even the smallest things, like JSM's zipper being ripped off, though 3 months have passed already after the shooting. That speaks volume to me. 

EDIT: wahahahahhahaha If i had a connection at home, I would watched it too chinguya @naritul !!! so don't worry!!!!! Make another slow mo version of it pls with a BG music.

Hello ladies! 

Came back from a busy travel week to another settling-back-to-normal week, though there's nothing normal yet in terms of schedule because of the Christmas and winter holidays coming up soon. I've been too caught up in the various activities to properly put down my thoughts about the last episode (which I did see! Before travelling!) and the general series and of course, the fan meeting that fed a lot of the romance-hungry hearts out here. I suppose a whole bunch of my thoughts run more appropriate towards the drama thread; but I also can't resist checking in on these lovelies both in memories of Jaein and Dada, and them as people after playing these beloved characters. <3

Speaking of which, I'd just like to give a special shout-out to our fair @stroppyse who has very generously provided time and effort to share the translations of some parts first. I'm sure you all have been there and seen these, but on the off-chance you haven't, here it is:

I haven't forgotten my promise to help translate the Chinese translations that I got. Thanks @canbeMIA for getting it and @jellybellymonster for sending it my way. BUT. Super love! She's actually faster at it than I am and much better (because I deal in traditional characters). I'm just getting her to have a quick look-over on the parts that I put up and will be sharing these translations once done. Major props to @zishuang, loves. In the interest of it being a fan meeting for the drama, please expect it at the drama thread, but I'll drop in the link here as well. 

@zae91 - You have a great idea! I was actually looking to fix the first post - beg your indulgence that I'll get to it eventually, real life is real life, after all and you have the best idea to have it posted as a picture so the formatting also doesn't look scattered. It's seriously raising obsessive-compulsive alarm bells in my head, but yes. Future project. I am determined to finish the first post by Valentine's Day. (At the very latest!)

@zae91 In the short clips of JSM episode on My Ear's Candy, I can tell LJJ was in awe of her earnestness as well. I do not know if he did contact JSM outside of the show like he said he planned. Please do not throw rocks at me chingus because I think they are so cute as well. BUT not as cute as our ship!

My gosh, @minahnoona, the set of BTS from episode 11 (and also 15) are my favorites! Posting here some of the pics that @canbeMIA shared. 

Look where HSJ hands are. Nothing inappropriate but still!  And the previous BTS HD pics @canbeMIA shared, there are so many filming crew around, it's the most unromantic thing in the world but with these two, they managed to make it look like they are not acting at all (OMG delulu alert. Please help me!) It's like they are in their own bubble during filming. 

And these next pics... This is my personal bias already talking but they looked good together even on first day at work.

I love this too! I wish we got to see a bit more of this - they look so young, happy and in love  so much natural skinship, holding hands, arms around each other, him stroking her hair, all while having the happiest smiles on their faces. also I love how casual he looked here. And JSM's legs look really nice as well! I wonder if they were telling dirty jokes as well here, since there's no scripted dialogue lol.

I think HSJ looked adorably awkward on the first day photos hehe whereas JSM looks like the sort for whom strangers don't exist, so she already looks comfy from the start.

Honestly, I also feels like you do chingu, please don't hate me, I hope the best for JSM-HSJ, and I ship them objectively based on my heart's sense hehe, I am still shipping them, I am   

Ah ya, I also like the BTS in Dada's apartment (the balloons-flowers apologize setting, Jae-In Dada sleep together after reunion) like you do @jellybellymonster  I think mostly in every part of BTS in Dada's apartment, JSM tried to be cool than the others BTS' settings. She tried to restrain herself more than HSJ tried to himself, and I love that honestly. I think both of them are in equal position regarding which one is more clingy to the other. In some BTS moments, I can see HSJ is more clingy to JSM, while in the other BTS momets, she is more clingy to him, and there are also the moments where they both clingy equally hehe, just my assumptions. And I love it, since it won't break my heart (at least until now hehe) to see that one might be have one sided feelings to the others. But this not happen to our Seokmin couple, that's what I think hehe.

When I watched My Ear's Candy, this thread didn't existed yet. I am really happy to see our JSM's smile in that show. She showed her sincerity, pure and candid of her self (she even unworried to show her bare face), and she didn't tried to be pretending, that's what I love from her mostly. And ya, her chemistry with LJJ is also good, it's undeniable. It has different side of chemistry between JSM-HSJ and JSM-LJJ. But it's hard to judge which one is better, since it's only what we watched on shows which is just the little part of truly of themselves. In my opinion, JSM can't so openly to HSJ because of their positions regarding their professionalism on works, but in My Ear's Candy's case, the show required the guest to try to openly share their thoughts and minds to their candies, so we can see the charm of 'transparent' JSM here. 

I cut the part of her in My Ear's Candy here, which is the part I love most because I can see her bright side here, and I think this is the way she will do when she has bf, I imagined HSJ in my mind as well hehe  I want to know the background music title but I can't find it by using shazam

Just a quick disclaimer that while @zishuang and I did our best to understand the Chinese translations' (please give @zishuang more love as she really did not only more but read through mine) thoughts, but also because it's Korean to Chinese, there might have been some discrepancies along the way.

A note, since we're on the shippers' thread: I feel like Sukjin and Somin have this light, flirty, kinda giddy thing going on. They're obviously aware of each other, and they get along, and though I get the confirmed bachelor (read: player!) vibes from Sukjin, it's cute that he seems comfortable enough teasing her and knowing that she'll just go with it and not take it seriously. Somin seems like a hopeless romantic, the kind of girl any gentleman would need to properly chase, not because she's acting innocent but simply because her heart is pure; but she is also cool enough to joke around and not feel like a clingy threat.  I hope they get a chance to get to know each other more, and much as I am pretty deadpan about these things, I really am tickled by their possibility, given the right timing and circumstances.  Maybe Somin might find her own Dada-ish love story come true, too.

ultimately it's their onscreen chemistry that they have shared so much with us, and even if they end up getting attached to others i just hope we'll get opportunities in future to see that on-screen chemistry again. and i'm very curious if they can recreate that chemistry with each other as new characters or even with other actors. would have loved to see JSM with Sunghoon who was also part of a recent smash-hit OTP in the 5 Kids KBS drama. for 1% the OTP success seems to be a combination of a few things: lead actors with chemistry, good script with a focus on OTP, and characterisation that you can get behind. basically the stars aligned for them on this one ^^. fingers crossed for their next acting project!

on another note, interestingly, not all real couples have reel chemistry. one half of my favourite Bollywood OTP (Shahrukh Khan and Kajol) has no onscreen chemistry with her actor hubby but amazing chemistry with Shahrukh Khan. and because of that onscreen chemistry i'm always happy to get immersed in whatever story they're selling without shipping them in real life!

@hazelnutthursdays @minahnoona Ahhh you two are much more articulate in expressing your thoughts. Like you took the words out of my mind minus all the squeeing. 1% remake is the perfect storm no? From the writer, director, drama staff and of course our leads. Even as HSJ and JSM, they have that undeniable chemistry even just sitting next to each other, smiling, being somewhat flirty and a tease and answering questions. I am interested as well where their chemistry is going to take us if they work together again with different characters. I can't help but be interested too at the possibility of HSJ and JSM. Well, that's the reason I'm here at this thread.  I'm trying to be sane but the FM translation is like an adrenaline shot to my fragile shipper's heart.

@zae91 - dear, I think it's best to use @stroppyse's translations. I think they really are more accurate. (Sorry I'm shouting out to you here, I don't have the other forum topic open right now.)

 

@minahnoona - I think we're the same and I wish there was a more graceful and definite way of saying "My sentiments exactly," but I cannot go beyond that so that will have to do. <3 I think we've glimpsed a different dynamic to the Sukjin-Somin chemistry in her cameo in "Drinking Solo." Of course, it was too short to actually see how that kind of relationship would've played out. Like you, I am also very much looking forward to a chance for Sukjin and Somin to challenge different characters - preferably together and opposite each other, of course. (This wouldn't be a shippers' thread without that thought, LOL). It's also like you said, everything just came together with "1%..." and I think it is what it is because it's such a low-key production with a certain sense of independence. They were also a pretty unexpected pair, both actors with considerable experience and resumes, but not very exposed as with a Hallyu level. I guess that's what helped them build the illusion of Jae In and Dada, with enough room for the curiosity of possible sparks offscreen. 

Ha Sukjin is such a cheeky, (player!) fellow. Maybe the metaphor is that of the rogue character trope in Regency romance novels (C'mon girls, you know you read those bodice-rippers, too. ). I seriously get pre-Amal George Clooney vibes from him, like a confirmed bachelor who likes it that way. Jeon Somin is such a great foil for this kind of character. She's cool enough to take it in stride, and not saying that she's letting a bad boy get his way with her, but just smart enough to keep things light and happy. 

I've said it enough but I do really feel tickled at their possibility.

I don't know with all of you, but the translation of the FM makes me sincerely happy for many reasons. @jellybellymonster and I have actually analyzed and talked about their answers.
