Considering the fact that BW appears to be a survivor.  What I want is for her to develop her own backbone with /against those wutless, hypocritical so called in laws especially that ex-MIL.  I want her to fight, I want her angry, I want her to express those feelings to those who hurt her deeply especially at her worst moments, I want those persons to feel horrible for their treatment of this girl whose only sin was sincerely loving their son.  They should have no rights to that child.  I also expect that that ex-MIL will even interfere should BW meet WH & ends up in a relationship with him because she expects that girl to live like a saint and retire her young body and life to a dead DJ.

I definitely do not want the man to come in at this point to do that, she has to stand up to them regardless of the fact that they are her first love's parents despite the fact they are elders, something I think is abused a lot in the Korean society with their so called Confucian principles (which is personally one of the main reasons why I dislike Confucius, complete abuse, its impracticality & narrow mindedness mainly by the so called elders/parents with wisdom and blind obedience to it). If she does that I will respect her more and am likely to continue to watch the show longer, if other then the show viewing life will be shorter for me.

Technically speaking, DY's mom has no rights to take BW'schild as DY & BW are not registered married legally. So this child belongs solely to BW. They kicked her out and throw away their grandchild. Now the crazy mother comes and claimed grandkid and say BW can't raise her kid. BW went through the whole pregnancy herself and took care of newborn. They didn't even give her any support or help her. Wtf!

I hate the dad for telling his wife about the grandkid.  Since he told BW to get lost ... hé & his family should stay away from her and let her live her life.

I want BW to stand up against insane mother who only thinks of herself and think so mighty of herself. I want BW to get her son back. They have no rights to claim the baby.

@shamrockmomI forgot to mention that we never had the privilege of sitting in when the organ donor rep spoke to the families so I don't know whether the reps are that demanding like in this drama. I was quite surprised when watching the interaction between the organ donor rep in this Kdrama and thought it was not appropriate how the family was approached. But this is Kdrama and not real life. My experiences with the OD reps were very friendly and their concern for the deceased family was very sincere. I never  heard anything negative about a family if their  decision was not to donate an organ. Big difference in real life!!

So far I really like the change in WH's personality. Can't believe that he actually picked up that piece of paper and didn't say "FIRE them"! Seeing WH and SC together reminds me of Apgujeong Midnight Sun. They both loved YaYa, the main lead. Actually SC was the character Na-Dan, who married YaYa but dies of a head injury also just like DJ. Getting interesting!!! 

I can't believe that BW will let DJ's mother take YByeol! It's only the preview so can't be sure that will happen. I hope not. Why did DJ's father give her the address knowing how she hates BW. I just don't understand BW's in laws. They throw her out into the cold , made her suffer, and no one there during her delivery. Now that she delivered a beautiful baby boy, they want to take that "precious " baby away from her. No justice here! Come on BW, you need to stand up for your rights! Be a strong SINGLE MOTHER and fight for what is YOURS! I can't stand it when single mothers are picked on especially by the "NASTY " in laws!

Good to know I am not the only one having a meltdown over the preview where Dong Joon's mom is trying to take the baby. How in the world did DJ become a decent person with a family like that?!

@janeeta: I like your restraining order idea. That's good advice--too bad BW won't do it.

@chasen8888: 100% agreement. BW should stand up to DJ's parents by herself. Whether that will happen or not is another matter. However, having a rich and handsome guy on your side can only help, especially if he's got a strong mom too. 

After Chae Rin was accosted by the blond surfer dude, and her stepmom was subsequently shot, I feel the need to reassure readers that even though lots of people here in the US own guns, not everyone is carrying a concealed handgun. I was pleased to see that CR at least attempted to resist Surfer Thug with whatever Tae Kwon Do moves she learned from Sang Chul. I believe this is a good example for why a woman should know how to carry and use a handgun properly as a weapon of last resort. It's an equalizer between a small woman and a thug. 

Most university campuses (like the one Chae Rin is attending) have excellent security. If you are a woman who feels afraid to walk across campus after dark or wait for a bus on the perimeter of the school, you can call campus police for an escort. A big beefy uniformed officer will walk with you to your car/dorm/bus stop and make sure you are safe. It's free--just a call or text away. Source--My daughter is a professor at a large university here in SoCal. As a parent, you can send your young adult to college and feel assured they will be safe on campus. If writer-nim wanted to be accurate, he should try having Chae Rin go to a frat party off campus. She would need to use those Tae Kwon Do moves in a big hurry if she wanted to fend off the jerks.

Ok pipe down everyone, First off it's no way Bw is going to allow them to take her child DJ mom is only being this way because she hates BW she really thinks since DJ meet Bw she has totally taken him from her and now that he's dead and she has given birth to his son she must take the child away from her like Bw took Dj from her.. Sort of like payback and crazy dad will go along with it.. Mom must have forgot just as well as her protective instict was for Dj Bw has those same motherly feelings as she do matter of fact even more so because BY can't talk to say whats wrong so she in for some real words of a mother that she thought only she could have because as of now BY is Bw only family it's no way she will let that woman take her baby even if she came from hell in high waters.. Mark my words Dj mom is going to mess around and get a taste of market girl wrath.. This is why I think mom will go as far to play nice and get her and baby in the house only to kick her out and say she's unfit because she has no home to take him to..  I do think DJ parents will look into they rights to the child and learn they have none mom will come to reap what she sow.. I'm looking forward to how this next 5 episodes will go because as of now it's a toss up on how Bw takes this news but you can best believe she's not going to let mom or the grim reapper come for her child..

The highlight area is the main reason mom will not get that child..

Glad the Father in law knew his wife well enough that she will bring Bang Wool and the child home with her.

However, looks like the relationship became better. Unfortunately, the elder son married a Westernised wife whose idea of breakfast is toast and coffee.

I know of a friend who gave up dating a Korean man after hearing in horrors how many dishes she would be washing because of the way the Koreans ate their meals.

Interesting the "murderess" will watch her ex boyfriend and the man she had set her eyes on going after Bang Wool.

After today's episode I find it funny how things are going to go and the connections of these characters and they have no idea yet.

I say this and I am not sure if anyone said it before as I believe BW's birth mom may turn out to be the murderess step mom. (forgive me for repeating what others may have noticed.)  Now we have a connection as step sister although I doubt the doctor fully knows his wife's past.  Now step daughter has killed birth daughters father and bio mom helped to hide it. This will be a huge mess if what I suspect is true later. BW has issues with how her birth mom just left her and never came once to visit. To find out that birth mom has been living there all this time and she met her once at the accident site and the woman did not recognize her but also that her step daughter did it and the woman helped cover it up will be a big blow to BW who wanted to catch the culprit badly. 

Now they are trying to push this girl on our lead who got BW's boyfriends heart.  We see ex is living in the household with BW and the dead man's family and from the preview today he will start to like her i bet. We see a chance meeting with the lead who got the heart and I agree given the twinges he has had so far he will continue to have more when he is near the family of the man who's heart he received. This later will be a problem when or if that family finds this out. Of course by that time it will be too late and BW and her son will have started to care for the guy. I see some possible upset for the guy as he doubts his feelings for a moment thinking they are a product of the heart and not of his true feelings.

The main thing is our killer will  go along with wanting the lead and the families will love it since he is successful and handsome even the lead himself will go along with it. But the hiccup comes with the chance meetings of our lead girl BW who inspire this man to eventually fall in love with her and then our killer sees the ex again perhaps around the same woman and yes, she will be angry at the fact both men like BW. The real kicker is if what I said is true above and BW is the step mom's real daughter she abandoned and she finds out it was this girls father that she ran over she will start to loose it all over again as well as being jealous that the man she threw over is in love with someone new after all these years but that the man her family wanted for her (and she trying to get ) and she agreed to marry wants the same woman as well who would technically be a step sister, Huge mess coming later. Jealousy about to run all over this drama.

I would like to see the subs for today's episode. I think BW did well in the raw and those people had no right to come back later to want the baby or to be sneaking around checking up on her (the FIL) when they blamed her (the MIL) and kicked her out and I am sure his father knew it was wrong but he did what his wife wanted. They knew she was pregnant it is one of the reasons her son married her (even without registering it yet) instead of waiting. It amazes me how they think they can say she can't take care of a baby when she was doing it pregnant all those months and even now after he was born. I am glad she stood her ground with that hateful woman and let her know she was not taking that baby I think and after the time jump we do see the relationship is much better but now she has a new woman to harass who is a little out of her depth but does not seem to want to learn the protocols for her husbands family. I think she is going to be a fun addition to this family. 

My questions are how many mishaps/misunderstandings/misadventures will the leads have before they fall in love?

How much misery will BW go through again with her in laws when they find out she has fallen in love with someone? In their minds they will not want their grandson going to a new man.They will not think rationally that BW would never keep them from their grandson even if she marries again. I see a possible fight to keep that boy which will not work for BW who may give up that relationship. 

How much mess will BW have to endure from the Leads mother and family over being from a lower income family and being a orphan and single mother? (it will prolly be very bad)

And when it is found out that the heart the lead has came from their son will they relax their view and let BW find happiness again? Will his family let it go as well? 

Basically we will a lot of selfish people around the leads who will never want to think of them but of their own reasons and cause many problems and that does not even include our killer and her family who will also give BW a hard time when they realize that the lead likes her.. then we pop in the ex who likes her too.

Morning @Ldy Gmerm  Everything you wrote will come to pass, Both men will have they eyes set on Bw and the needy rich brat isn't going to be able to take it.. I suspect stepmom will come around the MIL telling her to keep Bw away from what needy girl wants remember she's the priviledge and suppose to have what she wants.. She will play on the new DIL of the family to do her bidding to find out whats going between Bw and her Ex..  MIL may agree to the friend and Bw hooking up because he has became like a son to them also.. WH heart will only be with Bw and By and no matter what any of the family members do it's no stopping him.. I hate WH has a lot of DJ soft traits but I think DJ heart has a side of him thats could be worst then WH when he finds out that his mom stepmom and the brat has been harrassing her and he's going unleash angry and hatred on these women until they would not know what hit them especially rich brat.. I'm looking forward to seeing he shows no interest in her..

Now on to the friend thats living in the house in DJ place.. I think he's going to hear the story about Bw father if he hasn't already heard but he's going to put two and two together and figure out it was her who did it and remember she drove a white car now will he come out and tell Bw I don't think so and this will be his fatal mistake..

MIL is going to show her but and hatred again once she learns that other men has set they eyes on her son wife and may try and lock Bw in the house to keep them away from her.. She will want to keep Bw a widow woman for the rest of her life.. I tell you were going to see some Joseon dynasty crap come out from the Mom and father In-law until you won't believe..     

I'm anxious to find out who will connect WH heart to this family.. Will it be WH or the friend WH new assistant..

@carlemyers  When step mom learns of Bw name and where she's from she will go to the fish market looking for Bw dad and learn of his death she learn that Bw got married to a atty or a judge and has a kid she will find our as much info as she can.. She's going to think of it's coencidence but she's also put two and two together and realize she help cover up who killed her daughter dad.. Then she'll think back on the girl and guy who was at the scene and know it's her daughter whom she will start to secretly spy watching her and the G/son.. I think someone from the village will inform Bw about her birth mom showing up asking question about her and dad..

@Ldy GmermI find your keen perception of how this drama will play out going forward so INTERESTING! Is it strictly based solely on your intuition or the combination of  your experience, history, and intuition? You are a "IMMORTAL "!! I recently joined Soompi and this is actually only my second drama that I have wanted to follow so closely. BW has truly captured my heart! Her determination to survive after all the suffering, heartache, hardships and abuse she has experienced really touched me and I want her to have happiness at the end of this drama. It amazes me that you are able to list all those scenarios! They are so detailed . Sometimes my intuition is correct but a lot of times it's wrong. How long have you been watching KDRAMAS?

Oh as to your question re SC's family, they indeed went bankrupt and his father died , I believe from a heart attack, , and his mother suffered a stroke And is now in a coma because of that traumatic event. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It was episode 12 when it was revealed. I haven't watched today's episode yet.

I hope I can list scenarios like you as I gain more experience! Thanks for your interesting post!!

Yes @Ldy Gmerm also are you watching the person that gives happiness

 But the story goes the family went bankrupt he came home from school and found red tags all over the house.. So if the red tag boys was there it's true.. Father died shortly after the red tag boys mom got so ill she ended up in a nursing home and in the end he moved in with DJ family after losing his partime job because he could no longer pay for his school fees.. Passed some kind of physical interview for WH and got hired as his asst / bodyguard.. 

I'm surprised that while the priviledge brat was off in school in the states she had a boyfriend that she's considering marrying until she sees WH tomorrow and change her mind.. How will she dump the next boyfriend is a must see for me.. So looking forward to her and his reaction when they encounters each other through WH.. What lengths she will go through to keep his mouth shut about knowing and past relation to one another..

@sava2savaThanks for your detailed event of SC's family's bankruptcy. I couldn't remember how that scenario played out. Must be my  old age. If I don't really concentrate on what's going on with a character , I usually have to rewatch that episode. It will be interesting to see how the love triangle plays out! Must watch today's episode.
