why is it if I try to make a post longer than about  12 lines. The ability to type in text slows down dramatically then the keyboard freezes. The only way out is to exit the browser  when I renter the browser the post has been erased. Is this my browsers fault or soompi's program . Do I have some kind of built in limit because I'm a new member?

@808lostmc there's no restriction in your account for the amount of lines posted. Since there are members who have no problem posting over 12 lines, and I've never experienced the problem either, it seems this problem is either your browser or your memory usage.

I would recommend trying a different browser. Chrome is known for eating away a lot of memory, which might be the cause of your troubles. Try either Firefox or Edge.
