And now YWY 'rebell' from Grandpa, he told him that he is grateful of all grandpa's care for him and now he is a grown up, there are matters that he will decide on his own, and that with YWH dead, all the slave in Qing Shan Yue are handpicked by him, so Grandpa can move around within Qing Shan Yue, no need for him to stay only at the batcave anymore, there is all that he can do to Grandpa and he just leave.

Thank you for translating. There wasn't much YWY today, I guess he's coming back tomorrow. I just feel soo sad for Chun'er  that it's soo hard to watch her suffer. 

I have no comment for today's episodes.. I'm just watching and hoping it turns out good or the drama is going to get better at least by next week. Hang on tight, chingus! We are going through a downfall of the drama, then we'll go back up, again.

My sister watched Eternal Love that is played by YWY's guy/bodyguard Yue Qi. She loves it and she said it's a good drama, but the sad thing is there's no english subtitles, so we are very lost of what's going on in the drama. Our guess is the girl time travel into another body? Don't know, it's confusing, but it's funny and so far so good.

I would say ETERNAL LOVE or  TEN MILES OF PEACH BLOSSOMS is way better than PA if u want some strong love story though Su Jin there  the one who play the liang princess her is also a villian there  he also so evil there but in the end love conquer all its really a good drama

Episode 45-46 brief recap for those interested: YX gets out of Chang An but abandons the Xiuli army. CQ goes back to save them and kills Yuwen Hui. Chun Er follows YX. Yuan Song tries to assassinate YX and gets his arm chopped off. YX is badly injured but spares YS' life and tells people to send them back to Chang An safely. These 10 men unfortunately are Yanbei soldiers who's families were murdered by the Wei people so they rape CE. On the way back to Chang An, CQ runs into them and kills all the soldiers and escorts YS and CE back to Wei. YS doesn't want to see CQ but CQ still follows them to Wei to make sure they are safe. CQ and YS have a long farewell moment where she tells him that there are no right or wrong, only survival of the fittest. YS/CE run into the 7th prince and CE blames all of their misfortune on CQ and says by capturing her they will capture YX. Also, concubine Lan finds her dead son and blames CQ for it. 

 

So the drama killed Yuwei Hui wayyy earlier than the novel, yet somehow his death felt kinda anti-climatic. He was so evil the whole time and just died like that??? It wasn't as satisfying as I had hoped. Looks like Concubine Lan will be after CQ as well and I find this introduction of her as a possible antagonist really unnecessary. There is plenty of book material to work with and there are still so many unresolved mysteries. Can this drama really afford any screen time to this unnecessary plot? Whatever parts she ends up playing, I hope it's short. 

Anyways, I'm excited for the introduction of that bookworm in tomorrow's episode. He's so frustrating that it's funny.

after tomorrow, there will be only 20 episodes left till the end ( two more weeks  ). the story's pace is getting somewhere but the romance! No! this drama is only about girl power with a great story but romance lovers are disappointed already 

i guess they had to put it this way and they had no intentions of focusing on romance unlike other latest popular romantic dramas. from the looks of it, the romance part will be short and at the end of the series.

haha aren't historical cdramas always angsty?? watch Love 020!!! it's a modern drama and way shorter than PA and super light-hearted. Also, the actor who plays Yuan Song is in it and his character is hilarious. kdrama Chief Kim is also super hilarious!

ETERNAL LOVE of mark zhao and Yang Mi is not historical it is fantasy yeah love020 is good but its light there is no strong love triangle not like Eternal Love also i would say Love020 is best suitable for younger age as it is a school theme drama  so even if i watched it 3 timea i still feel akward as im a 35 yrs old woman

I'm having Princess Weiyoung flashbacks, where everyone and their mother was like: "Everything is Weiyoung's fault!" 
Though to be fair, they had a reason to think like that 'cause Weiyoung was almost always the mastermind behind their (well-deserved) misfortune. 

That concubine is getting on my nerves,too.  She was the one that betrayed CQ and her late mother first by telling YWH CQ's real identity.
CQ didn't even know about her dealings with YWH and that he kidnapped her son and held him hostage.

In the latest episodes, CQ is starting to open her eyes after witnessing the atrocities resulting from XY’s and her actions.  She seems to feel empathy for the victims of the uprising. The apologetic look in her eyes, the softer tone of her voice, and her heartfelt conversation with YS shows it well.  ZLY portrays this transition of CQs character very well.  Hopefully, CQ will continue to grow and not to revert to her own “I know it all” self.  She will be able to appreciate YWY and be nicer to him next time they meet.

As for YWY, he makes it clear to his grandfather if he had to choose between protecting the woman he loves and serving his country, the former will come first.  I think this is such an admirable quality.  CQ is such a lucky girl, if only she knew. 

It is true YX did not directly order the raping of CE. But according to the bandits that brutalized CE and YS, YX knows very well of their hatred of the Wei royal family.  Putting CE and YS in their care is therefore an implied order to torture/kill the two.  I guess if YX should be blamed is debatable.  It is definitely sad that YX is the least bit concerned with what his people had done to CE.

I'm trying very hard not to count how many episodes are left. I enjoy the girl power. There's been a lot of girl power dramas/movies lately, which I don't mind at all, but the romance is slow. I'm still hoping to at least get a little love between the OTP, then I am happy.

YX was hurt. That other lady by his side ordered for those soldiers to bring Yuan siblings back. So she's the responsible one

PA had it's own cute otp moments since the beginning  i guess we all wanted more romance and lovey dovey scenes but oh well. we have to stick to the girl power thingy at the moment  there will be some cute moments till the end i hope!

PA is the one next to the 3.034 %.  3rd show this year to break 3 percent.  I think. Please correct me if i am wrong. In the name of the people is first place break 4 or 5%. Then that series with deng lun and sun yi that also broke 3 %. and then General and I over 2%. My memory is not what it use to be.  So Write now in 2017 PA is either 2 or 3 in rating ranking.?

So Concubine Lan is getting into the CQ hate bandwagon too, huh? But why is she blaming CQ for the death of her son when she already has an existing feud/history of bad blood with HWH? 

I'm having PW flashbacks too where everyone who made stupid plot against her and ending blowing up in their face or wannabe girlfriends getting rejected by the men who love her will say "Li Weiyoung!"

Anyone here updating weibo can give more info about PA rumoured to be 80 episodes? It could be good or bad news depending on how the story unfold. Good if its mean we will get proper unrushed ending, bad if they keep dragging unnecessary plot and still rush the end. I hope the former if it is really happen.

Same here. I wish YWY would be the same in the novel. The "mistrust" from CQ and YX toward YWY would make more sense. Many people wouldn't blame them for not trusting YWY if his character was to follow the novel.  Also, I like him more in the novel because you can see his character development clearly.  In the drama, he did change because of CQ, but it's like not WOW, from 0 to 100. Shaw's YX is more closed to the novel.  CQ's character was tuned down by ALOT.  They make YWY saved her every time.  You know, I was like.....writer you know our girl is a BADASS heroine.  She doesn't need a prince to rescue her every single time. She is the one that rescued others.  Also, CQ is a character that pays favors back to others.  She won't let you get away if you decided to be a btch to her and plot against her. I'm kinda mad how they made alot of changes, but I still enjoy the drama overall.
