Perhaps Love Premieres in Beijing

CRI Exclusive by Shen Min - One of the high profile Chinese films of the year, Hong Kong director Peter Chan's "Perhaps Love," will premiere in Beijing on Wednesday.

Hong Kong's Channel V host, Ke Lan, and Hong Kong veteran star, Eric Tsang(曾志伟), have been invited to preside at the premiere.

Many of the cast are expected to attend, including director Chan, lead actress, Zhou Xun, and leading men Takeshi Kaneshiro, Jacky Cheung and South Korean star Ji Jin-hee.

Hong Kong stars Miriam Yeung, Leo Ku and William So will also lend their voices to the premiere.

The film premiered in Shanghai on Tuesday, and it will hit China's cinemas on December 1st.

CHRISTMAS will come earlier this year for fans of Takeshi Kaneshiro.

The Japanese star will be in town next Monday for the gala premiere of his latest movie, Perhaps Love.

The leading lady, China's Zhou Xun, and the director, Hong Kong's Peter Chan, will also be attending the premiere at Victoria Theatre.

It will be the first time in 20 years a film is being screened at Victoria.

They will walk the red carpet at 7pm. The movie, a musical also starring Hong Kong singer-actor Jacky Cheung and Korean actor Ji Jin Hee, will be shown at 8pm.

Cheung and Ji will not be coming here, however.

Two hundred premiere passes will be sold at the Lido box office from today at $35 each. Proceeds go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore.

The movie opens on Dec 8.

JJH will be going to Hong Kong tomorrow (6th of Dec) until the 8th of December for the promotion of Perhaps Love..

I'm also really glad that Perhaps Love is doing so well in China now...

i'm pretty backdated on soompi news as i was away.

WHAT! he missed malaysia as well? i thought singapore is the only unfortunate one. why did he skip singapore? boo hoo. now my friend is pulling me to catch jang dong gon who is coming next week. instead of seeing my fav actor, i get to see her fav actor (that is of course if JDG doesn't cancel his trip here).

JJH was recently chosen to be one of the models for the compilation album "Dong gam" (同感) (called "Sympathy" in English..), along with Lee Dong Gun, Eric, and Yoo Ji Tae.

As you may know already, "Dong Gam" is a series of albums that have been coming out for a few years now, which has the latest hit songs, with famous actors as the models. (Many of their photographs, especially taken for this album, will be printed in the cd covers etc)

So far very popular and famous actors have taken part in the series of albums, such as Jang Dong Gun, Won Bin, etc (for Dong Gam 1), Bae Yong Jun, Jo In Sung, Jang Hyuk, Kim Jae Won, etc (for Dong Gam 2), and alot of other actors as well (for Dong Gam 2.5 and 3).. and JJH is one of the models for the latest of the series.

Their photographing was in an entertainment program, and I made screen captures of the interview, with the translations... JJH looks so handsome... Hope you enjoy it!

JJH: (as a joke) Well..looking by appearance, I do look the youngest.

Reporter: If you could put your voice into this album, what song would you put in?

JJH: Well....the OST album with my voice is coming out soon..The movie's called Perhaps Love, and I sang in it...so it would be good if one of those songs went in.
