There will be no BinKan from 16-18.  Who knows what happens after that but once BinKan gets back together I'll continue to translate their scenes again.  I haven't had time to watch later eps but I figure I should do proper translations for 9-11.

Ep 9
Bin came to Kan's place to observe him do sword training.  Kan did not see Bin coming so as he chopped down the cherry blossom branch, Bin avoided and fell in the ground.
Kan:  I beg your forgiveness my lord.  I did not know you were here.  (Kan helped Bin get up.)
Bin:  I'm fine.  Your sword fight is powerful.  
Kan:  I'm not worthy of those words my lord.  Are you coming here because something happened in the palace?
Bin:  Nothing.  I just want to see your new residence.  Do you feel comfortable here?  (Translation:  I want to see your face, babe.)
Kan:  Luxury housing or a simple shed makes no difference.  I never mind these things.
Bin:  Forget it.  As long as you're happy it's all good.  (Walked down and picked up the sword then put it back for Kan.)  It has been a long time since I saw you wearing civil outfit.  
Kan (smile):  You're teasing me.
Bin:  That is nice.  (referring to his civil outfit I guess.)
Kan's servant came in with a scroll.
Bin:  Your servant is quite quick.
Kan:  The people you chose of course are good.
(Kan smiled while Bin has this proud expression.)
Kan:  My lord.  (gave Bin the letter.  Bin got upset after reading it.  He slammed the stone table.)
Bin:  What does this minister want to do?
Kan:  The two people from green robe's country of course apparently tried to hide their whereabouts.  They were very careful.  They surely must have plotted some kind of conspiracy.
Bin:  At this time, everyone is plotting something.  The thing is I trust my dear Kan.  
Kan:  My lord.
Bin:  The minister, green robe's country...  Last time their people got ambushed by the outlaws.  What was that about?
Kan:  That incident, I already investigated.  Six of their people died as a result while five of six are servants.
Bin:  Why were they so in a hurry to bring back a corpse without even demanding the outlaws dead?
Kan:  The second lead guy from the party was dead.  The lead guy is the younger pupil.  They don't get along.
Bin:  Not getting along gives birth to conspiracy.  It looks like the outlaws helped him with the task.  This time green robe's country have people seeing the minister again.  What do you think?
Kan:  I think we need to carefully think this through.  But the minister meeting with representatives from another country isn't a good thing.  Please my lord make a determination soon.
Bin:  A determination?  How do I go about determining something now?  Directly lock up those representatives?  If they indeed are plotting something, you think they will tell the truth?  In case things got blown out of proportions, it will caution the mastermind.
Kan:  Yes, I did not think carefully enough.
Bin:  My dear Kan has always been very straight forward in your thoughts.  I know that very well.  You just have people follow them quietly for now.  Just see what the minister is up to.  This man is getting old, it's hard to say.  If his ambition is getting bigger, being dissatisfied with his current path is inevitable.
Kan:  My lord.
Bin:  The minister is an important official of our country.  Out of 10 words coming out of his mouth, 8 of them represent words from heaven.  As time goes by, he starts to feel his words really represents words of the heaven.  We just have to show who is boss some time.  My dear Kan understand what I'm trying to say?  (Put his hand on Kan's shoulder looking sly as ever.)
Kan (confused as hell):  Yes....  I know my lord.  (Not sure if he got it.)
Bin:  Alright.  I have to take my leave.  I'll come drink your tea next time.
Someone delivered a message to Kan as he was practicing his sword fight.  He decided to enter the palace after reading the message.  The message said that green robe's and purple robe's conspired to join forces to undermine Bin's country under the pretense of commerce.  Kan proposed taking troops to cut off their access path in which the minister opposed.  Bin then decided that Kan would take a few troops and meet up with the 30k troops already stationed at the 3 fortresses in the targeted area.  Kan was supposed to observe to see if the other two countries were plotting up something and once the fact was verified, he should act upon it.  Kan on the other hand decided on his own that if he was commanding the troops he would make it a more worthy cause.  So without verifying the true intentions of the other two countries, he gave the order for the troops to split into 3 directions and overtook 5 fortresses from green robe's.  As a result, green robe's representative came asking for peace deal using five captured fortresses as bargaining chips.  The ministered supported the peace deal and suggested Bin to beckon Kan.
Ep 11
Once again, Kan received a mysterious pigeon message.  "Careful of the minister", it said.  He ordered investigation of the source.  Back at the palace, Bin also received a report possibly saying Kan has been receiving messages.  He was visibly upset.
(flashback)  Bin got thrown off the horse.  Kan came and carried Bin on his back.
Bin:  Where is this place?
Kan:  You're already up?
Bin woke up on Kan's bed and tried to get up.  Kan ran over to help him up.
Kan:  You've twisted your ankle.  Luckily the injury isn't serious.  If it wasn't for me, you probably got dragged away by wild animals.
Bin:  Who are you?
Kan:  Me?  I'm Kan.  I was just passing by and saw you unconscious in the woods.  I was afraid you would be eaten by wild animals so I brought you here.  (Meeting by fate I see.)  (Kan smiled sweetly.)
Bin:  I thank you.  (then drank the tea.)
Back to the present, Bin was sitting in his chamber sleeping or I mean dreaming of the scene earlier.
Kan came back and greeted him.
Kan:  Greetings my lord.
Bin quickly opened his eyes and ran over to help Kan up at lightning speed.
Bin:  My dear Kan, don't stand on ceremony.  Let me take a good look at you.  (He held both of Kan's hands and anxiously examine his beloved Kan to see if any bit was missing.)  Oh, my dear Kan.  My dear Kan has gotten thin.  (so sweet)  
Kan:  Of course the front line is no comparison to the palace.  I burdened you with worries my lord.
Bin:  My dear Kan, you have never left my side for so long.  (well, apparently it was only 5 days.  I guess in Bin's missing Kan day and night time, it probably felt like 5 years.)
Bin (sweetly look at Kan and continued):  Of course I would be worried very much.  Quickly tell me the situation.  
Kan:  Due to your blessing, things went very well.  It's exactly as reported.  The access path was blocked and we increased the troops to observe at the border in order to check thoroughly whoever or whatever pass by there.  As for the 5 fortresses they've given up, I already ordered troops to station there.  Though we still haven't changed the commander in the fortress, everything they do must go through us.  It's up to my lord's decision to change the commander in the fortresses.
Bin:  My dear Kan, it only took you 5 days to capture 5 fortresses.  It's truly a great accomplishment.  Now everyone is saying you're the great general sent from heaven.  The God is truly blessing our country.  (put hand on Kan's shoulder)
Kan:  I'm just a useless nobody.  Your words are too kind my lord.  It's all due to your affection for me that I have the chance to contribute to our country.
Bin:  My dear Kan.  Why do you always lower your worth?  If you keep acting like that, I'll be mad at you.  (awww...)
Kan (smile):  My lord, I have something that need your decision.  
Bin:  What is it?
Kan:  We can use the excuse of purple robe's and green robe's conspiracy against us and capture the fortresses along the access path from purple robe's.  (Kan is getting too ambitious.)
Bin:  You just came back but already got called into the palace.  You didn't even have a chance to stop by your residence.  You've been tired all day.  Just go home and rest.
Kan:  I shall take my leave.
Bin:  My dear Kan.
Kan:  You have something you need me for?
Bin:  Nothing really.  I was just wondering if you have something else to report.
Kan:  I've already reported everything my lord.
Bin:  My dear Kan, I'm just joking.  Why are you always so serious?  Go ahead and rest.
So Bin grew suspicious of Kan.  At the palace it was reported that purple robe's want to visit Bin's country to return some artifacts.  Bin suggested that a royal relative should be in the delivering party.  Certain things said by Bin made Kan believed Bin started to grow doubtful of him.  He was debating on whether he should go see Bin but wasn't sure how to approach the mysterious message issue.  He decided to continue investigating while keeping a lid on it.  In the same night, Bin was walking aimlessly around the palace.  He got upset with the servants that were following him around and told them off because he got upset looking at them following him.  (He missed Kan.)  
(Flashback)
Bin was walking in the palace and Kan followed behind.  Bin turned around.
Bin:  My dear Kan.
Kan:  I'm here my lord.
Bin:  Why are you walking so far behind me?
Kan:  I'm only your lowly guard.  Of course I have to walk behind you with a proper distance.
Bin:  But I'm afraid my dear Kan will be lost.  Look at you.  You followed me but never looked up.  (Bin wasn't happy that Kan wasn't by his side looking at him.  aww...)
Kan:  My lord, I...
Bin (smiled):  Never mind.  Just see it as me joking.  
(End flashback.  Bin in deep thought of Kan again.  Another flashback, they were being chased by some assassins.  Kan got shot by arrow in the arm.  All of a sudden, they were able to lose the enemy and got in some shed.  Yeah.  Bin threw his sword to the ground and tended to Kan.)
Bin:  My dear Kan, are you alright?
Kan:  It's just little injury on the skin.  No big deal.
Bin:  You're bleeding so much.  How can I not worry?
Kan:  It doesn't affect the nerves.  No worries.
Bin:  Stop moving.
Kan:  My lord, there are many assassins outside.
Bin:  Let's treat your wounds then we can deal.  (Luckily the assassins are still waiting for them to finish their love talk and hasn't attacked.  Good boys.)
Kan:  We can't stay here long.  Let me escort you out of here.
(Kan seemed to have difficulty moving even though the injury was on his left arm not his legs which is good because Bin could hold him tenderly.  So somehow they got away to a peaceful shed with cascading vine leaves hanging on a pergola.  Kan's clothes were taken off and left on the bed next to him.  I bet it was Bin who took the clothes off.  It was too bad they didn't show that part with slow mo and romantic bgm.  Dumb director.  Kan was sitting there deep in thought.  As the bgm came on, Bin walked into the room.)
Bin:  What is my dear Kan thinking about so deeply?
Kan:  My lord.  (He tried to get up but almost fell down.  And I thought he only injured his arm not his legs but never mind, I like the director's thinking here.  Having Bin holding Kan again is what I want to see.  Kan felt in Bin's arms.  The bgm was still playing.)
Bin:  Stop moving when you're injured.
Kan:  I'm thinking about the assassin incident.
Bin:  Just properly treat your wound first.  Whatever other issues will be investigated by others.
Kan:  But if I can't think it through, I will feel uneasy.
Bin:  As long as you're here, I feel comforted.
(end flashback.  Bin continued in his deep thoughts of Kan.)

[Shinobu]

In ep 12-15:  Reps from green robe's came to deliver the artifact.  They visited the old adviser.  Kan suspected them and warned Bin.  Kan also told Bin that they approached him.  Bin confronted Kan about him keeping quiet on the pigeon messages.  Kan told Bin the truth.  Kan suggested that they should take the reps hostage which Bin agreed.  However, the reps escaped possibly through the help of the adviser.  Kan accused the adviser of aiding the reps to escape which escalated bad blood between them.  To get back at Kan, the old adviser staged this ceremony when a solar eclipse happened and insinuated that Kan represented some kind of ominous sign.  This made Bin upset and walked away.  
Under the moon, Bin looked up drowning in thoughts.  He was thinking about Kan.  (What else can be in his mind?) 

(flashback to when Kan rescued Bin when he fell off the horse then Kan brought him to a lodging.  This is a continuation.  Kan gave Bin a piggy back ride outside.)

Bin:  Where do you want to take me?

Kan:  You've been in bed for a few days already.  The weather is not bad today.  I'm taking you out to get some sun.  The woods is damp under the shade here.  You're injured so you should be expose to sunlight more.


Bin:  I won't stay here long.  Maybe another day or two someone will come and get me.  Then I have to leave.
Kan:  Only hunters stop here once in a while.  I think outsiders will not be able to find their ways in here.  
Bin:  Then you wait until I can walk so you and I can leave together?
Kan (smiled sweetly):  No problem.
Then an eclipse occurred, Bin got frightened.
Bin:  Why is it like this?
Kan (calmly):  It's just a solar eclipse.  Are you afraid?
Bin:  I...  (hold Kan's hand)  As long as you're here, I'm not afraid.  It's just that I've never seen it before.  (A prideful man like Bin admits his weakness so comfortably before Kan.  Hmmm.)

Kan:  Right.  This is my first time as well.  I've seen lunar eclipse before.
Bin:  You have a big liver.  (You're fearless in other words.)
Kan:  I live on the mountain.  Of course my liver has to be a little bigger.
Bin:  My dear Kan, why are you not talking anymore?  What are you thinking?
Kan:  I've never believed in strange occurrences in the sky.  So this isn't a big deal to me.
BIn:  I want to go rest.  You help me go inside.  (Put his arm out and demand)  Help me up.

(end flashback)

Kan came after Bin.
Kan:  Your subject greet you my lord.  You're looking at the moon?
Bin:  People in the palace are discussing about the solar eclipse today aren't they?
Kan:  It's extremely lively in the palace today.  Maybe everybody believes that stars have shifted.  They even say I'm not blessed by the heaven and am an ominous sign.
Bin:  Do you believe?
Kan:  Such nonsense.  The thing is it'll be hard for the advisor.  (sarcastic)
Bin:  My dear Kan, be truthful with me.  Are there different rumours?
Kan:  One is bad enough.  If there are too many of them, it'll make other people realize that it's all a set up.
Bin:  My dear Kan, I remember many years back we've seen that solar eclipse.
Kan:  There's no question that if the advisor ever gets wind of it he'll say from the very day I appeared before you, it was already a bad sign.
Bin:  Why do you have to say those resentful words?
Kan:  They're not resentful words.  They're the truth.  Tomorrow in the palace, even if the old advisor does not inquire, the other officials will ask of you.  Maybe it's not bad to the point where they'll force you to give me death due to the solar eclipse.  But they'll ask you to give me some kind of punishment.
Bin:  If I don't agree?
Kan:  You'll be pressured from all directions.  I suggest that you prepared a document to release me from duty to avoid the advisor and officials making excuse to give you a hard time.
Bin:  My dear Kan, you don't trust me?
Kan:  I never doubted you my lord.  Our country was only founded recently.  If problems arise in the court now, it's not beneficial to our country.  It's not the same anymore.  I also don't want to see you get pressured.  Please consider my lord.
Bin (hold Kan's arm):  I'm really useless right?
Kan:  You're the king of our country.  You shouldn't mind too much about losing one subject like me.
Bin:  I never thought of you as my subject.  (but a lover is what he wanted to say)
Kan:  I still have one more warning.  The advisor is someone with calculating mind that benefit his own interest.  You have to be more careful with him.
(Then a lunar eclipse happened and made Bin upset.  Kan asked him to leave for the palace.)
The morning after at the palace, the officials pressured Bin to do something about Kan.  Bin looked visibly upset and told them that he already approved Kan's request to stay home to repent.  Bin lashed "Is that enough for you?  Is that enough?" and glared at the advisor.  (In actuality, that was Bin's doing so that he didn't have to deal with the other official pressuring him into getting rid of Kan.  He wanted to protect Kan.)
(Bin came to visit Kan again.)
Bin:  My dear Kan.
Kan:  My lord.
Bin:  Are you surprised to see me?
Kan:  I really did not expect you to come.  That's why...
Bin:  What are you looking at?
Kan:  I've gotten reports saying that green robe's is building new forts.  Purple robe's though already withdrew their troops, the 10k they increased still remained.
Bin:  You're worried that war is in the works?
Kan:  Not current because green robe's and purple robe's combined still aren't enough to defeat us.
It's just that I don't know how things will transform in the near future.
Bin:  If you're not sure, don't worry about it.  When war comes, we will deal isn't a bad strategy.
Kan:  You're right my lord.
Bin:  I'm not worried about that.  I'm only coming here to visit you.  (He's worried about Kan.)
Kan:  I....  I'm okay.
Bin:  I know your heart is not happy.  You're isolated.  Don't lie to me.
Kan:  My lord.  The advisor wanted to insult me but if you are to go against him it won't do our country any good.  So just follow his wish to pacify problems in the palace.
Bin:  Do you really think so?  You don't think he'll make even worst trouble?
Kan:  He dare not because he truly doesn't want to upset you.
Bin:  Never mind.  Let's stop talking about this.  Green robe's sent their people and said that they want to do business with our people.  They want to buy our goods.  What do you think about this?
Kan:  Is it true that they want to do business with us?
Bin:  Not with us but with our people.  I think if it's official business it's hard to refuse.
Kan:  It's all depend on your decision my lord.  But with green robe's we must be careful.
(Bin smiled affectionately at Kan.)

(Came close and tapped the back of his hand on Kan's chest)

(Then put his hand on Kan's shoulder.)

Bin:  My dear Kan doesn't trust me?
Kan:  I dare not my lord.

(So a new country as been established by mustached king and other countries are supposed to send someone there to congratulate.  Bin comes to visit Kan again.  Do you see a king coming to see his subject so often?)
Bin:  My dear Kan.
Kan:  Your subject greet you my lord.
Bin:  Don't stand on ceremony.
Kan:  My lord.  You're here...
Bin:  I come to see you do your sword dance.
Kan:  Are you serious that you come to see me do my sword dance?
Bin:  If not, then what do you think it is?
Kan:  My lord, look at how you're always frowning nowadays.  This place right here almost has some wrinkles.  (Tenderly about to touch Bin's forehead.)

Bin (quickly moved Kan's arm away in embarrassment):  I'm like that because I worry about you.  

Bin:  The thing is I want you to go to mustache's country this time.  Do you agree?
Kan:  You can just order me my lord.
Bin:  But what is your feeling?  If you don't want to go, I will ask another.  
Kan:  It's a good idea.  For one, I don't have to deal with the adviser and other officials.  Two, I can gather some information about the new country.  If you they're really friendly toward us, maybe they can be of use.
Bin (puts hand on Kan's shoulder):  How troublesome for my dear Kan to understand my intentions.  If you stay in the palace, who knows what kind of plot the adviser will come up to lower your status.  That's why I want you go there.  As for how the new king really is nobody knows.  My dear Kan, you must be extremely careful on this trip.  Don't let anything happen to you.

Kan:  Rest assured my lord.  I will not let anything happen.

(ep 16-18 will be about Kan in mustache's country befriends some others.  I will skip it.)

[Shinobu]

Here are some caps for ep 19-23.  I will post 24 when I get the chance.  The summary is due to nuance.

While Kan was away, Bin spent a lot of time throwing his officials' inquiries.  Kan came back and found a not so well Bin. 

 

For one reason or other, Kan ends up going to fight mustache's.  Bin is worried but had to let him go.

 

Apparently, Kan lost 70k troops in the war possibly due to them kind of see him as an ominous sign and not listening to his orders (I think.)  But Bin didn't want to punish Kan as the officials suggested.  Somehow he ended up going back to his life on the mountain.  Then he came back when mustache wanted to attack.

 

The officials didn't want Kan to take charge of the troops.  Bin got angry and hurt his hand.  Kan tore his robe to wrap Bin's hand.

This reminded Bin of another time when Kan also saved him and tore his robe to wrap him.

I realized I should have put those images in spoilers but anyways, here are the continuation of the caps for 23-24.    Please note, these aren't translations.  They're my interpretations.

So after the flashback from Kan's tearing his robe to wrap Bin, Bin told Kan to just leave the palace and live a free life but Kan insisted to stay and fight.

At the court, Bin gave Kan his seal of sort to command the troops against the opposing officials.  Notice, in the past couple of eps, Bin has been showing blatant affections for Kan in the court in front of the officials as well.  I mean who give a schmoe about those guys.  My dear Kan is my number one.

In his chamber, Bin ran his fingers on the armor.  He's grieving about the fact that he has to send his dear Kan to front line knowing it's a losing battle.  Then he has a flashback about Kan again.

Then Kan came in.  Bin commands, "my dear Kan, I shall put on your armor."

"No my lord", Kan was taken back at the touching gesture.  "Say no more", Bin insisted.

Then Bin proceeded to put the armor on Kan with great care, gently sending his love through his touches.  Kan gazed at the face of his beloved and was drown in this man's tenderness.

Their eyes met briefly for a moment.  If for long, they knew they could not part.  Bin handed over the helmet and could not even meet Kan's eyes.

This is the vietsubbed version of the BTS I posted earlier.  Here's the translation:

Q:  We heard that when you were filming you got a heat stroke.  Which scene was it?

Ian (Kan):  Ah, when I was in the palace together with MY LORD BIN.  It was when I wore the armor, not this outfit, the metal armor.  Under it, there was another layer.  I was also wearing this leather boot.  So my whole body was completely covered to the point of irritation.  At that time after moving back and forth a bit, I felt I was perspiring a lot.  My sweat came pouring out.  Normally, I was never like that.  After that, I sat down and rest.  It's gone.  That was the whole incident.

At the same time our lord Bin also wasn't feeling too well.

Q:  When filming, you also had stomach problems?

Evan (Bin):  Ah yes, that day, or maybe the day earlier that I ate some bad food and it gave me a stomachache.  I had upset stomach all night and stomach problems.  The morning after filming, my body was depleted of liquid.  In addition, it was really hot and humid and I was feeling tired so I passed out.

Q:  So ever since you've started filming, how much weight did you lose?

Ian (Kan):  I think 4 kilograms (8.8 lbs).  Shouldn't be more than that.

Evan (Bin):  I hope fans can watch this drama and see my improvement.  Until today, I've always felt grateful that they've been supporting my acting path.  I feel this is a groundbreaking role for me.  So everyone must watch and please continue to support us.  Thank you.

Ian (Kan):  Man with Sword is almost airing.  I hope everyone can support us.  Thank you everyone.

It's better if you don't or rather you probably won't.  As far as I'm concerned it's kind of nonsensical and it has more plot holes than Swiss cheese.  But I appreciate them for giving me BinKan.  Truly truly appreciate them for these two precious sweetie pies.  So much beauty.  So much sweetness.  So much chemistry.  So much love.

elliezsnow, thanks much for those links.  I actually already saw them.  I've been digging.

yuuna92, I'm kind of angry that they decided to only show 2 eps since this week.  I know my BinKan will kill themselves in ep 27 but I don't know the details.  There is a newly introduced sub story about Kan being with Bin to return a favor for his dad.  In a certain perspective, this new revelation somewhat undermines Kan's romantic feelings for Bin because it suggests Kan stays by Bin's side due to obligation and not feelings from the heart.  I haven't thought much of that but I wonder why they need to throw that wrench in the mix.  Strange indeed.

Knowing the pending death, maybe it is too much of a luxury to ask for them to die in each other's arm.  It's unfortunate that though they die the same way, they won't be together at one place.  One can only wish that they die with each other in mind.

Seriously!! :(((( There's a major back story about the swords they hold that hasn't been revealed yet and the ep 27 preview seems to hint on that....

I agree with

@Shinobu that Kan staying by Bin's side is partly b/c of a promise to his dad :/ I thought he was going to say something about Kan saving him too :/ but maybe they'll reveal who his father is and his relationship with the king. Based on ep27 preview, it seems like the swords back story +  Kan's dad's backstory may be a opening for season 2, if they have one. On the show weibo mentioned that because there isn't as many views on the official streaming site, Sohu, (due to other unoffical streaming means), they are releasing it 2 episodes a week for VIP viewers. I think it's a good call by because this gives them more time to promote the show, have more traction to attract a greater audience.

@Shinobu that Kan staying by Bin's side is partly b/c of a promise to his dad :/ I thought he was going to say something about Kan saving him too :/ but maybe they'll reveal who his father is and his relationship with the king. Based on ep27 preview, it seems like the swords back story +  Kan's dad's backstory may be a opening for season 2, if they have one. On the show weibo mentioned that because there isn't as many views on the official streaming site, Sohu, (due to other unoffical streaming means), they are releasing it 2 episodes a week for VIP viewers. I think it's a good call by because this gives them more time to promote the show, have more traction to attract a greater audience.

elliezsnow, one of the things that disturbs me to no end is that they cut many BinKan scenes.  One shows Kan helped Bin back to his residence or something (as captured).  One shows both of them on horse backs going to do some surveillance works (in very nice couple outfits.)  One shows Kan touching Bin's clothes as if he dressed Bin.  I'm not a happy camper.

The fact that BinKan will die kind of kills my interest for part 2.

I asked a good friend of mine to translate tibbits of ep 23-24 BinKan.  I changed the names to be consistent with what I've been using.  It started at the part where Bin got angry and hurt his hand.
Kan: Your Majesty, do not over-worry yourself.
Bin: My dear Kan, right now our country is on the brink of destruction, but look at the Magistrates in that room, they would still fight ceaselessly over something trivial.  If this keeps on, if this keeps on, I am afraid our country will truly be destroyed.  
Kan: my lord, please do not be angry.  I believe we have not reached the point of no return, yet.  As for the magistrates, it is normal that they all have agendas of their own.  
(Wrapping the king's wound)
(Flashback, think the king wasn't king, yet)
Kan: My Lord!
Bin: Do you still have to leave?
Kan: You saved my life, I can only repay by serving you with my life. 
Bin: You have saved my life many times, don't say something like that again!  You have no where to go anyways, then just stay with me.
Kan: I, I(he used a special word meaning subordinate here) will obey.
Bin:  My dear Kan, because of this wound, you have distanced yourself from me.
(End flashback)
Bin: My dear Kan, you should leave.  We know that you didn't want to come to the palace with us to begin with.  Although you haven't said anything these years, we know that you have not been happy.  Now, the situation right now, if we are not king of this contry, we would want to leave, too.
Kan: Your Majesty, please don't say such things.  I have said before, I shall follow my lord's orders untill my life ends.  Especially now, how can I leave and abandon you my lord?
(skip to the royal court when Bin beckoned Kan)
Bin: My dear Kan, my dear Kan
Kan: My lord.
Bin: My dear Kan, you need not bow down.  Do you know about the battle reports?
Kan: My lord, I know about all the reports.
Bin:  My dear Kan, with your knowledge, do you have any solutions?
Kan: My lord, I have received repots from Vice-General GongSun.  Purple robe's has sent two armies, 100,000 men each, one to assist us, one to head toward Mountain Valley of YueZhi.  Its goal is to cut the supply route mustache's army.  If the supply is cut for mustache's army, I expect them to slow down the attack for a while.  Then our army can have a break.  When our ally armies from purple robe's and green robe's arrive, the battleground situation may turn around.
Bin: My dear Kan, we are at blame for missing opportunities and losing this war.  You are the only one who can save our country (white robe's) from danger.
Kan: My lord, please don't say that!  It was my incompotence that I couldn't take away your worries.
Bin: Send our orders, re-instate Kan's position as High General, control armies through out the kingdom.  Anyone who disobeys, will be court-marshalled.
Kan: Thank you, my lord!
All: We will obey Your Majesty's decision.
Bin: Now you are all united!  
All: We will follow Your Majesty's orders.
Bin: General Kan, please rise.  You can all get up.
All: Thank you, Your Majesty.

(Flashback)
Royal Advisor: If you have control of the army in your hands, I am afraid the situation will be more chaotic than mustache's invasion!
Kan: If Royal Advisor suspects that I will betray His Majesty, then why don't you lead the armies!
Royal Advisor: You!  Don't be so arrogant!
Kan: Arrogant!  I can take an oath right now in front of His Majesty, if Royal Advisor can make mustache's retreat, and never invade white robe's again, I shall take my own life in front of His Majesty and the rest of you as apology.
(End flashback)

Kan: Your Majesty.  What's your orders?
Bin: How did you know we are calling you from outside?
Kan: Because Your Majesty tapped twice, same frequency and force, so I thought it was intentional.

Kan: My lord.
Bin: Rise.  My dear Kan, we wiped this armor everyday for you, never allowing dust to come upon it.  
Kan: Your Majesty, you do not need to do that.
Bin: My dear Kan, are you disappointed with us?
Kan: My lord, I have never had such thoughts.
Bin: It is alright.  It is us who have mistreated you.
Kan: My lord...
(Bin putting armor on Kan and handing him the helmet)
Bin: Very good.

Kan: My lord.  I will take care of myself, please do not worry.
Bin: I know that Kan is good at battles, but mustache's comes with such fierceness.  My dear Kan, I'm worried...
Kan: Please do not worry.  As long as I live, I will not give mustache's a chance to invade.
Bin: I always trust you.  Wine.  Take care, General Kan.
Kan: My lord.  I have something, after much consideration, I believe I should let my lord know.
Bin: Go ahead.
Kan: No one can be certain that this time the allied force of 4 kingdoms can defeat mustache's.  Therefore, I think, my lord should move the capital to north, retreat to HuiYan District for now.
Bin: HuiYan District?
Kan: Less than 200 miles east from there is the border to green robe's.  If my lord move the capital there, I believe they will be more aware.
Bin: I understand.  My dear Kan, you do not need to worry, just concentrate on the battle.
Kan: My lord, please take care.

1.  "The jade of the matter"

So I kind of ignored this jade issue a little bit.  From what I understand, Kan was going to meet his 3 newly made friends from neighbor countries up the mountain somewhere, sort of like swords of the round table.  So his servant came to Bin asking for an item to prove his position.  (Please note.  This is not translation but my captions.)

"This jade"

"you give to my dear Kan."

 

So when Kan met his friends, he showed the jade.

"This is my lord's jade."

"Get it through your eyeballs and feel the powa."

"Oh yes.  I understand your position in your lord's heart already.  My bad."

Bin had to relieve Kan from his general position to protect him from the adviser and officials.  So Kan the wanderer while still has connections with Bin needs something to show that connection.  It's not as if his new buddies don't know who he is and there is no need to doubt if he's lying.  Reason why there's no need for verification and could just take his words for it.  Who would know if it's actually lord Bin's jade?  But my interest in this is the item Bin chose to give Kan.  It's his personal item, a jade, not a seal of sort.  It feels a jade that could be given to promise for marriage or something.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

2. Cause leading to White Robe's destruction (rolling with nonsensical)

Well you have the problematic stars reading adviser.  You have jealousy between adviser vs. Kan which gives rise to adviser's eclipse plot to ruin Kan's credibility.  Next is Bin's decision to allow Green Robe's merchants to buy White Robe's goods at high prices.  The result was the people stopped farming and earned money through selling feathers and fur.  So the country runs out of food.  Kan proposed to fight Green Robe's to get food but adviser wanted to fight Mustache's.  This leads to White Robe's demise of losing 70k of troops most of it due to the loss of Kan's credibility thanks to old adviser.  White Robe's, while still is vulnerable, is being attacked by Mustache's.  Bin wanted Kan to leave but Kan decided to stay and help or at least die together with his lord.  It was either Purple Robe's or Green Robe's which was supposed to send reinforcement which they didn't due to indecisiveness.  This lead to Kan's decision to use his life to exchange for a whole fortress of people.  Bin who got a letter from Kan.  "Seeing my letter is like seeing me."  Bin cried out in pain, "my dear Kan comes back."  "You've exchanged your life for a fortress of people.  What do I exchange to get you back?"

Next ep:  Till death do us part...

I have a feeling the swords link their owner's life forces if they practise martial arts. Might be a generational hand me down from the main royal family to the original generals of each vassal state and thus the 'assassins' now have them even if they don't belong to a 'noble' family.

...wonderful...the CP I'm most invested in is destined for the quickest permanent ending =.="

I'm actually really looking forward to see ep 27 (to see their deaths).  But yeah after that I probably will not follow.  Words on the street is that part 2 may happen and it probably will be a prequel and part of it may be about the predecessor.  BinKan's fathers and hopefully their love story.  If Evan and Ian will play the roles respectively that's good news and I'll sign myself up.  I mean as long as Evan and Ian will be playing lovers as fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers, next life or whatever, I'll continue to watch for them for as many parts as they come.  Bloody hell, I've never seen a male pair this good looking with so much chemistry like this in ancient setting before.

LOL I don't know what it is between Evan and Ian but even their bromance is enough to draw me in. Most times, CPs require a little chemistry to even have me interested, but not these two. Even their innocent bromance within SpeXial makes me all giddy xD (sadly they don't really interact TOO much when promoting with the group T_T)
