in 2016 for Best New Actress, Park So Dam is a hard-working actress with an impressive amount of works in a very short time. 

In 2019, she starred in Bong Joon Ho's movie Parasite, which won several international awards, including The Oscars.

At the age of 17, Park So Dam saw the musical "Grease" and noticed the happiness among the actors, singing and dancing. That's when she realized she wanted to join that lifestyle. During her school years, she enjoyed working hard and rarely took breaks. As she has participated in many projects these last years, we see how she is still working as hard today. With the pressure of not having the "beauty" and big eyes like other actresses, Sodam thought she was only fit for doing stage performances. Even her parents thought it wasn't in her genes to become an actress. So when several producers from different movies scouted Sodam, she was very grateful towards their appreciation of her looks. Today, she is herself appreciative of her small eyes, and how she has the looks which no plastic surgeon can recreate. She also claims how she wishes to be an actress who is acknowledged by her acting performance, and not by her looks. Her family today is very supportive that she is doing a job that she loves doing.

Since she has played in very few roles which are bright and cheery, many think of Park So Dam as a woman with a darker personality. However, this is not the case. Instead, she says how she is drawn to characters with some form of emotional pain, wanting to give them comfort. Sodam shows how she would like to be adventurous in her acting, wanting to try out different kind of roles, such as: characters with emotional pain, a frank and honest character mostly played by men, and a character in a more mature state. Even though her role in "The Priests" was considered to be scary, when filming, Sodam wanted to make it look even more scarier during her scenes. This shows how she is not afraid of taking on bold roles and how she is passionate about portraying them.

Thank you my chingu. I love how you create section per section of her projects with the official picture of her drama and movie and you complete each with its stories. 

It makes all her fans know clearly what she had done during this time. Because not all her fans know what the tittle of movie she has played  before she played drama.  Including me, I don't know yet that in fact she also plays in a movie about a member of Ice Hockey team. Thank you ...  You give us a very clear information about her.
