i starting to wonder if they are in trouble because of the wedding, bc i'm trying to think whether a gay wedding has been depicted in any movies or dramas recently and i'm blanking. sometimes seeing gay marriage can scare the homophobes more than seeing gay sex

but if they edit out the wedding scene then...what's the point anymore

this movie was supposed to be the first historical bl but after all the stalling that title is no more...

Yeah I also wondering what scene they'll edit. If they edit wedding scene let's just hope they'll release it later like UL. Does'nt the government already decriminalized LGBT? Then why they keep treat LGBT like this? Such a hypocrite.

just finished the first ep and i'm really impressed with the production value! the costumes, the sets, and the cinematography are a lot better than what i was expecting. i was scared it might feel "off" but it does feel like a historical drama. the dubbing really helps

the acting is also decent. tao mo's actor is a bit awkward with some of the facial expressions, but he really has that innocent dimwit feeling needed for the character lol. the supporting actors are good and i really like actor for tao mo's servant. he's super cute :))) if you think he looks a bit familiar, it's because he's a famous crossdressing performer in china! i know a lot of ppl were vying for him to be the lead in a bl drama lol but this is a good start

i definitely want to see more, especially since the episode ended right as tao mo is about to meet gu she!! lol

basically his gf uploaded a vid in which everyone could clearly identify his voice as the one filming. then he announced he didn't wanted to reveal his relationship bc he wanted to protect his gf and his relationship doesn't need anybody's approval. which made the cp fans mad bc they haven't even done anything to her yet lol
