[Drama 2016] 1% of Anything 1%의 어떤것

Recommended Posts

It felt like just yesterday I watched the 1% of Anything but 13 years has passed.  I was not interested to watch the remake initially, but totally love the minutes I played the video.. I'm not a fan of HSJ and I don't even know the lead female but, I just love their antics. I think this is the 1st drama of HSJ that I'm going to finish. Both of them are so good together and based on the 1st 2 episodes, I love this better than the original.Hope it will continue to be this fun instead of turn into a rubbish in the middle..

Hi can someone pm me with any site that has torrents for this series? Or do I have to watch a streaming site? Thank you in advance. I guess I can do without subs, if need be- I will ask around later where the srt subs are. Darn DF getting the license.

Man this series is hard to find- I am already an invited member of a large site and I can't find hide or sight of this series. Darn it, I was so looking to watching it. All I can find are the old series.

responded to @ck1Oz and @itzibitzispider -- please see PM.

the drama seems to be not widely available because it is airing on some small channel. but hope more people discover it and join the thread. :)

I like some little twists the drama is putting in this remake. I can't hardly recall the exact reason why Kim Da Hyun (in the 2003 drama) accepted Jae In's suggestion to be in a dating contract. Most probably out of her kind heart. But the new heroine doesn't easily budge, and the main reason she agrees to it is for the sake of her idol...and I buy it:P

I wonder if they will maintain Da Hyun's best friend. In the old version, she had a love line with Jae In's cousin, who mistakenly thought her as Da Hyun.

I haven't watched the original so I had no expectations.

Watched out of curiosity but was surprised by how much I enjoyed it, so much so that I watched both episodes in one sitting. I like Jeon So Min the actress playing Dahyun, she's so sassy toward Jaein LoL! I like how she keeps him in check. He's such a stereotypical jerk isn't he?! Really amazed how quick the drama is hooking these two up already. Which is unheard of in most dramas where the OTP hooks up after a dozen or so episodes.

Geez what's with all the wrist grabbing YO!?:blink: Er-- Dahyun's a forgetful one ain't she? Is she leaving her phone on purpose LoL?

Poor Jeon So Min getting a lot of hate comments attacking her looks... She has beauty that grows on you IMO. The kind that gets prettier the more you see her:D Ha Sukjin seem to be typecasted as the stereotypical arrogant chaebol heir in majority of his dramas LoL.

There was a special needs child in the school she was teaching at and she asked him to support that child.

In the original Jae In  was worse in terms of dragging her around by the wrist, he even bruised her to her father's and mother's horror. My favourite was when she turned him over to the police for him dragging her around protesting.

Thanks for clarifying. '

Yes. So far Jae In in the original series was much worse.  The series was like 20+ episodes and he had shown real serious anger (jealousy?:sweatingbullets:) management issues in most of the earlier episodes. One of the scenes that I could recall was when he got jealous over Da Hyun meeting her older brother (obviously without knowing his identity). I wish someone will be playing Da Hyun's older brother in this version as well. Then we'll get to see some petty jealousy moment from Jae In

@Nymeria289 Look... it wasn't me OK LoL!?:P I've come across comments on her looks back when she starred in Princess Aurora<_< People are mean, it is what it is *shrug* I don't see the similarity with Jang Nara but like Gong Hyojin, Kim Goeun, Park Sodam etc --- these actresses are known f/their natural beauty which is great because they don't get lost among other surgically enhanced actresses right?:D For that reason Jeon Somin has a unique & distinct type of beauty.

Yes .... hmmmm .... well I do not get that people hate the looks of JSM ... she might not have been my first pick in beauty, but she is beautiful.
And WHY oh WHY do all the leads always have to be the most beautiful creatures on earth?

In the original  the actor who played LJI was NOT handsome (in my perspective) and as he acted really mean, harsh and sort of abusive I wondered all the time how that poor girl would survive the day.

What concerns me more is, how they squeeze 26 episodes into 8 ... it's nice and short, but maybe to short ... what will we have to skip to see the happy end?
Will the other love-lines happen, will we see more of her family? her brothers? and her best friend?

but so far I like it ;)

They had a very hard time financing this to begin with which explains the short length I guess. Even after producing it, they couldn't find slots and then later Dramax took it. I think short dramas are more fun as we get maximum screen time for our leads and less of secondary distraction. For example, page turner, splash splash Love, Baek-Hi is back. All short but fun watch.

Well, I confess on Splash Splash Love I can agree and the others need to be looked at I guess

I also did not mean it in a bad way ... I saw the original and it was one of my first k-drama, so I am hung up on it, but even so I thought some parts were dragged out to much in the original ... I am happy and curious to see even a shorter version, but I just hope it's not cut to much ...

Thanx for explaining

Edit ... oh wait ... I've seen page turner, too  ... loved it

Well if they cut out the parents interventions and the other teacher that will bring it down to around 13-14 episodes from 26. There was too much interference and silliness from the parents. If you remove the lawyer friend's relationship with the sister and her step sister and his cousin (which was a nice story) it can be cut down further and finally the repeated meetings she had with the grandfather and the jealous girlfriend I think 8 episodes  could be done but I would have preferred a few more episodes.
