I know i'm kinda late in responding to this thread about the movie but i read somewhere that Wang Bowen and Meng Rui has some reality show together called wudong, anyone heard of it or know where to see all 33 episodes?

It's been long time since Wudong released. You can find it in youtube but I don't know if all eps still there or try gcinee, can't guarantee that either though.

Just some pics from the weibo website of Meng Rui's Nan Bei Xiong Di (loosely translated as South North Brothers)...probably posted b4.

Finished filming in Mar. Read suppose to show during summer holidays in China....should be latest by Sep. But haven't seen any confirmed dates yet.

Anyone got new updates?

For the movie Yao Xian (loosely translated as Medicine Fairy), finished filming in June. One info page put show date as 2018. Actual date unknown.

Next drama is 你和我的倾城时光 Our Glamorous Time....supporting role....old friend Zhao Liying is the lead. They had many serials together in the past....right from his 1st drama/movie 马石山十勇士 (2007).

Thanks that was great. Tell me, do you know the name of the movie  2016 @5:17 ? I've seen that clip before and wondered what movie it was...tha scene is priceless. It fabulous to see him and Bowen working  working and doing drama's and films and shows.

It is movie 戏凤威龙 Master of love. I only know it is about some males went on journey to search for a girl. The pretense lip gloss scene is right at the start...40sec. It felt abit "Stephen Chow". 

No eng sub.

Sidetrack. About a new BL novel and song.

I 1st heard about this BL novel....from a song. Ya, it's a song with the lyrics already existed in the novel, a song "sang" by one of the chars inside. Someone then composed the music with those lyrics. Sang by quite a few internet singers and uploaded online....but i quite like this male version. 

 

The BL novel is dated late 2016 to mid 2017. Title 撒野 (Sa Ye or loosely translated as Acting Wildly/Freely) by author Wu Zhe 巫哲. It's very recent. No english translation yet. Many BL novel readers seem to like it with good reviews.

 

I haven't read it yet. The story theme/period is student/teenager. Think there are no feud, revenge or torture each other stuff....the comments are that the writer is good in writing normal daily life....the chars Gu Fei and Jiang Chen are interesting with their own problems. Gu Fei has a younger sister who couldn't speak due to some trauma. He seems destined to live his mediocre life out taking care of his sister. Jiang Chen was returned by his rich adopted family to his poor birth father in an unfamiliar town....he was good in his studies and vow to progress upwards in life. Then both met when Jiang Chen saved Gu Fei's sister...and later as fellow classmates...

Guess the song pulls at me too much....w/o even reading the novel yet. Maybe someone will adapt the novel into drama in future....with suitable actors....w/o spoiling it.
