Fruit brainteaser - Apples, bananas and coconut maths

30/3 = 10. So each apple is worth 10
10+x+x = 18 so 18-10 = 8  /2=4 so each bunch of bananas is worth 4
4-y = 2 so each coconut is worth 2
so 2+4+10 = 16.

Haha, initially I thought the same too, but if you look carefully on the last line, it is one half of a coconut, and 3 pieces of bananas instead of four.

So if one coconut is worth 2, then half equals 1.

4 bananas worth 4, so 3 bananas worth 3.

Apple stays the same at a value of 10.

My answer is 1 + 10 + 3 = 14 :P
