Any guesses on who wrote the anonymous letter to Tang Ning? She assumed it was Zheng Hao at first because the addressee on the letter was a Z-H-E-N-G (address was also for the law offices where he worked) and she had checked out the other Zhengs' who worked in the same law office.

I think it must be someone who was not only familiar to her family situation but also aware that Zheng Hao is the illegitimate son of Zhong Kemin. Only three people knew who Zheng Hao's father is: his adoptive father, his mother, and his aunt, whereas the rest of his adoptive father's family know he isn't his a son of the Zheng family. It isn't till later that Zhong Kemin learns he even has a son.

Also, there's so much mystery around Tang Ning's inheritance (or lack thereof). After her father's death, because her Grandma who didn't like her mother, didn't want the inheritance leaving the family, makes sure that Tang Ning's mom signs over the inheritance to the aunt (and the uncle is the executor of the will?). And her mother who is always out of the country, having an affair/in love with a married man. What exactly is the Mom, Aunt, and Uncle trying to hide by not allowing her to see the actual will?

How stupid was that, firing the housekeeper(who listened in on secrets) just before getting the sign from TangNing, its like those near miss dramas. How many times has getting the transfer signed from TangNing been missed. All this going around in circles in barely 15 episodes

The courtroom parts are hard to take seriously, everyone just casually discusses things, talks about stories, moralities, direct arguments with each opposing side and there are 1-2 legal arguments. IDK if Chinese courts really work this way

The side cases are perfectly co-ordinated with what the main characters are going through, the exact same situation at the same time someone else is going through so that the main chars can get better perspective on their situation

The main strengths of this drama are TangNings family mystery & its connection to Zheng, birth secret+ its consequences and OTP developing a strong bond

From watching a previous c-drama, 金牌律师 Gold Medal Lawyer, starring Zhou Yiwei (Novoland: Tribes & Empires) and Zhu Dan (OB Gyns I and II), that is how the courts in China seem to be like for civil cases.

Very unexpected twist regarding the birth secrets.
