THE PIRATES: THE LAST ROYAL TREASURE is now available worldwide on Netflix.

 

ROOKIE COPS will also end next week. Her drama premiered on January 26 in select countries in Asia and they have been releasing 2 episodes every Wednesday at 5pm KST. Pretty sure it will be available in other regions (North America, where I live, included) after the finale. I am not a huge fan of Disney and I can never understand their strategy. I am very happy, though, that ROOKIE COPS is doing very well, often ranking 1st on the daily top 10 Disney+ TV shows in South Korea. South Koreans seem to like/love/enjoy it for the fun youth drama that it is.

 

Soobin is seriously so charming as Go Eunkang. I will probably share my thoughts on the series after the end of its run. If anybody is reading this thread I would love to read your thoughts on her drama and/or film

I don't usually re-watch kdramas but I'm rewatching I Am Not A Robot because of Chae Soo-bin. I really like her performance and visuals here.

You have good taste!! There 's a reason why Soobin is loved the most internationally as Jo Jia, Aji3, and Jo Jia pretending to be Aji3... the brilliance that she brought into all 3 roles, making each one distinct and compelling. And 'I'm Not A Robot' is such a gem of a romcom that it's the drama from her body of work that I rewatch the most

 

Interestingly though Koreans love her the most so far as Han Yeoreum in 'Where Stars Land' (and for her performances in sageuks/period pieces). Whenever she has a project released or airing, SBS would upload WSL videos on Youtube and they would get hundreds of thousands to millions of views within a short period of time, lol. I think WSL worked best as a romcom and a workplace drama and I, and a lot of people loved what Soobin did with her role despite how she was written at times.

Chae Soo Bin is set to appear in the film HIJACKING (working title), with Ha Jung Woo and Sung Dong Il. 'Hijacking' is the directorial debut of Kim Seong Han and is a plane hijacking thriller-drama set in the 1970s, with a production budget of 13 billion won. She will play a flight attendant and filming is expected to begin in October this year.
