This show is picked up by KBS World now. Will have english subs weekly from July 8th. It'll take some time to catch up with the independent subs, but if enough people watch, which I think will be the case, then KBS World will carry on subbing the show.

J.Y. Park is full of compliments for Tiffany's soulful singing

J.Y. Park was thoroughly impressed by Tiffany's vocals on the June 17 airing of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk.'

The JYP head visited the set of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk' once again to oversee the music recording process, giving pointers and advice for the cast members. When it was Tiffany's turn to record, a smile immediately creeped up J.Y. Park's face. Unsurprisingly, J.Y. Park spared Tiffany no compliments, telling her that she was much improved than before. Tiffany joked lightheartedly, "Did I gain some air [in my singing]?" referring to J.Y. Park's famous method of using a 'half air half noise' sound.

Though J.Y. Park was completely satisfied with Tiffany's singing, Tiffany herself seemed disappointed in herself as she wasn't in the best condition. However, the end result was much better than what the both of them expected, mostly thanks to Tiffany's insistence on recording her parts over and over again.

J.Y. Park gives Jessi some sound advice on her lyric composition process

J.Y. Park had some advice for Jessi's rap lines on the June 17 episode of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk.'

The rapper carefully examined her own lyrics one more time before the official recording process began, checking for ways to improve them. Confident that there was nothing wrong with her lines, Jessi rapped in front of J.Y. Park, mixing in some English here and there.

J.Y. Park took issue with the English portion of her lyrics, advising her, "I think it's best to [rap in] Korean. This program is watched by Korean people all over the country so the content must be easy and understandable."

Though J.Y. Park and Jessi clash on the show due to their strong personalities, the JYP founder admitted during an interview, "Jessi is someone you can't dislike even when you want to get angry at her."

Min Hyo Rin reveals her space for the first time ever on 'Unnies' Slam Dunk'

Min Hyo Rin invited the cast of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk' to her home on the June 17 installment of the program, revealing her personal space for the very first time since her debut!

Min Hyo Rin sheepishly admitted to cleaning her apartment for the entire night the day before she invited her guests over, saying, "Honestly, I haven't done this very often. I felt very thankful that the members helped out and were accepting despite being busy. I was so anxious about inviting them over."

Min Hyo Rin's space was impeccably managed and pristine, glowing with bright yet soft lights, color-coordinated, and decorated throughout with tasteful, cute little knick knacks. The members couldn't help but admire Min Hyo Rin's home, sparing no compliments and commenting that it looked like a model house.

Min Hyo Rin caught lying about her interest in other guys

Uh-oh, Min Hyo Rin's answer regarding her boyfriend Taeyang was detected false on 'Unnie's Slamdunk'!

On the recent episode, the members visited Min Hyo Rin's house, where they enjoyed some bonding time. During the game of 'Truth or False' using a lie detector, Min Hyo Rin had to respond to the question, "There is someone who has caught your attention other than your current boyfriend. True or False."

Min Hyo Rin answered, "False", however the lie detector contradicted her response as she was detected as lying! Min Hyo Rin, startled by the results, quickly explained, "It was just for a moment when I was watching 'Descendants of the Sun'..." Min Hyo Rin then asked her members for help as she added, "Can we please wrap this up in a beautiful way somehow?"

We get it, Min Hyo Rin. Who could resist Song Joong Ki.

JYP Encourages Tiffany In Her Singing On “Unni’s Slam Dunk”

On the June 17 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Unni’s Slamdunk,” the cast members take to the recording studio with producer Park Jin Young.

Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany arrives fully prepared for her recording session in the recording booth, armed with notes and medicine for her throat.

Although Tiffany isn’t completely happy with her takes, Park Jin Young encourages her saying, “Compared to last time, I’m getting a sound that much more pleasant to the ears and really smooth.”

Tiffany jokes, “I guess I have developed some air [in my voice],” referring to the half-air and half-sound singing style that Park Jin Young teaches to those under his tutelage.

Tiffany continues with the ad libs, for which Park Jin Young gives her a score of 100, but she is dissatisfied.

“I’m kind of having a blank out because I’m not singing well due to my poor condition right now. I can’t even give myself a score of 20.” Tiffany says.

“Trust me,” Park Jin Young responds. “If you listen to it later, you will not think that at all.”

Lie Detector Test And Questions About Taeyang Catches Min Hyo Rin Off Guard

On the June 17 episode of KBS2 “Unni’s Slam Dunk,” the cast members (Ra Mi Ran, Kim Sook, Hong Jin Kyung, Min Hyo Rin, Jessi, and Tiffany) play a game of truth or dare with a lie detector.

During Min Hyo Rin’s turn, the group members prepare to ask her a difficult question.

Ra Mi Ran asks Min Hyo Rin a question relating to her boyfriend, Taeyang. “Besides your current boyfriend, has any other man caught your eye?”

Min Hyo Rin confidently answers, “No.” However, the lie detector test goes off indicating dishonesty.

The members clap at the result and Min Hyo Rin confesses, “My heart wavered from watching ‘Descendants of the Sun.’”

Tiffany adds, “Why does it have to be ‘Descendants of the Sun?’” referring to the Korean title of the show which includes the word taeyang.

J.Y. Park shows his disappointment in Jessi

Singer and producer J.Y. Park expressed his disappointment in Jessi on the June 24 airing of KBS 2TV's 'Unnies' Slam Dunk.'

The members were tested on individual dances.  During this, Jessi showed that she had not perfectly learned the moves, dancing timidly.  Seeing this, J.Y. Park was unable to hide his disappointment, telling her, "You're the biggest problem.  If I had as much talent as you, I'd work really hard.  It's talent given by the heavens, so shouldn't you raise it up to its best level at least once in your life?  You've failed to demonstrate even ten percent of what you were born with."

After his sincere constructive criticism, she replied, "Thank you.  I'll work hard."

How does Min Hyo Rin feel about her ten-year tenure in the entertainment industry?

The gorgeous Min Hyo Rin, who has been proving herself to be a natural at variety through 'Unniess' Slam Dunk,' recently partook in a pictorial with 'InStyle.'

The actress wore very light, summery pieces coupled with minimal makeup, letting her natural beauty shine through.

During the interview portion of the pictorial, Min Hyo Rin talked about how she has been in the entertainment business for a decade. She said, "I was able to relax and be comfortable. With this a mindset, I was able to try a different area such as variety."

Min Hyo Rin then talked about what she likes about 'Unnies's Slam Dunk,' saying, "I think the premise of the program which allows the members to achieve the dreams that they didn't get to is so awesome."

What made Tiffany so sorry that she sank to her knees on 'Unnies' Slam Dunk'?

On the June 24 episode of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk,' J.Y. Park tested the members to see how much their dancing has improved.

As soon as Tiffany showed up at the practice room, the other cast members cheered, "The ace is here!" and welcomed her with open arms. However, unlike the rest of the 'Unnies' Slam Dunk' crew, Tiffany was looking downer than usual. The singer, wearing an apologetic expression, sank to her knees as soon as she walked into the studio. When the members looked at her with puzzled faces, Tiffany explained, "I'm so sorry but I didn't practice. Once preparations for my performances are over, I will live at JYP for a week."

Soon thereafter, J.Y. Park himself showed up at the studio, and Tiffany turned to him to apologize once again. She said, "I didn't get to practice much. I'm sorry. I'm not good at multi-tasking." Jessi also took the opportunity to 'fess up, telling J.Y. Park, "Tiffany and I didn't get to prepare. But we'll work the hardest."

Though Tiffany and Jessi didn't prepare, it seems Hong Jin Kyung was born prepared! Noting the her confidence, J.Y. Park complimented Hong Jin Kyung, "You seem to be full of confidence today." Unfortunately, it seems Hong Jin Kyung didn't practice as much as she claimed, as she messed up the dance move near the end.

Watch: "Sister's Slam Dunk" Group Unnies Debuts On "Music Bank"

“Sister’s Slam Dunk” group Unnies finally debuts and makes their dreams come true!

The group formed from the variety show performed on the July 1 episode of KBS2’s “Music Bank.” The music show includes some clips from “Sister’s Slam Dunk” showing their sweat and tears. After working and practicing tirelessly, the group achieved their goals and debuted on a music show.

Despite the majority of the members not being singers, the group pulls off their choreography and singing live extremely well. They obviously have fun and enjoy their performance, too.

Watch their debut performance of “Shut Up” below!

“Sister’s Slam Dunk” Shows What Went On Behind The Scenes Of Debut MV

The July 1 episode of KBS’s “Sister’s Slam Dunk” revealed what went on behind-the-scenes of Unnies’ debut music video, “Shut Up.”

The cast members all practiced non-stop in order to be ready for the music video filming. Park Jin Young checked on them several times, sparing no effort to realize Min Hyo Rin’s dream of becoming a girl group member.

After criticizing their performance several times, Park Jin Young finally gave Unnies some praise, saying, “Kim Sook and Hong Jin Kyung have improved.”

Meanwhile, the music video had a black-with-hot-pink-accents color scheme, an aesthetic they carried over into their performance on “Music Bank.”

They managed to get the choreography perfect and Jessi gave her all during the filming after her lack of passion in previous episodes. Tiffany made sure to ask, “Please put Min Hyo Rin in all the individual cuts” so that the actress could live out her dream fully.

The music video follows a story, with Min Hyo Rin as the female lead involved in a love line. Yoo Hee Yeol, Park Jin Young, and Kim Joon Ho also appear in the music video.

The “Shut Up” music video will be released on July 8.

JYP Impresses Viewers With His Meticulous Supervision Of Unnies’ Comeback Prep

Park Jin Young impresses viewers with his meticulous supervision of Unnies’ comeback preparations on the latest episode of “Sister’s Slam Dunk.”

Even down to the on-stage outfits, Park Jin Young wants everything to be just right.

“Right now the outfits are a bit boring,” Park Jin Young says as looks at the mostly black outfits the Unnies’ members are wearing. “Hong Jin Kyung’s hot pink wig color is fun, so I think it will be good if we add hot pink accents to everyone’s outfits.”

He makes the final call, “Hot pink shoes and lipstick for Jessi, the hot pink wig and the cut-out leggings.”

“Ra Mi Ran in hot pink sleeveless shirt, Min Hyo Rin in a hot pink necklace and anklet, a hot pink fedora for Kim Sook and for Tiffany let’s add a hot pink accent to her shoelaces or some other string on her clothes,” he continues.

The “Sister’s Slam Dunk” cast recently debuted on “Music Bank” as the Unnies.
