[Hollywood+Movie]+Batman+vs+Superman(Questions+and+Spoilers)

I have a lot of question regarding the movie due to its enormous easter eggs, confusing events, and foreshadowing for future films. First of all, I'm not a comic reader but I do love superhero movies.

So then here's my first question. How did Superman live in the end? I think they're going for the Injustice story right based from what I played on my PS3.

How was Superman got framed up from a certain bullet? This was the most confusing and weird part for me.

What's with the Robin suit in the batcave but robin didn't appear at all?

What's with Batman's dreams? Two dreams and I didn't understand a single of it. Or was the second one even a dream? Cause the papers continues to move after batman woke up.

Why batman created a kryptonian spear and smoke grenade instead of kryptonian bullets?

Why is wonder woman in Metropolis? I think it was explained in the movie but just didn't quite heard or understand it.

Was that really Lex Luthor in the movie? A son of him or just a different version of Lex Luthor that I do not know of?

Hope some people can help me regarding my questions. Thanks in advance! :)

Also this gif image I found was quite funny. :D

- superman cant really die (or extremely difficult) under our yellow sun. but if they go with this, then zod shouldnt be dead as well.
- dont remember him getting shot?
- dont remember seeing the robin suit as well? but if it was there, then its probably there for foreshadowing or just placement to allow them to use him in the future if needed. the movie was already a mess with a lot of richard simmons going on. adding robin would have made it worse.
- batmans vision was also foreshadowing where the franchise is headed to. that is darkseid as a future villain. the papers moving was because of flash. not sure if he was the reason for batmans vision as well.
- the way they used kryptonite was for story telling sakes. they could have done it with bullets. but i imagine a spear would be more effective since someone has to pierce superman. where as with bullets, superman would have just deflected or dodged them. the smoke was also effective because it was a good way to weaken him. but youd think someone of supermans calibre would have easily shielded himself from the smoke the second time it was used against him.
- wonder woman was in metropolis because lex luthor had that photo of her. she wanted to get it back.
- i believe that was the lex luthor.

most of the inconsistencies is probably because of poor writing. or you can at least blame it on that haha.

What i mean't by the frame up was the bullet found by Lois Laine. Thanks for answering some of my questions at your utmost best sir! Hopefully others here can post my other unanswered questions. :)

the bullet was unique in that it was distributed via lex corp. it is how lois and clark were able to link the troubled events in the movie to lex. the scene where lois was captured by the bandits also allowed lex to confirm that there is a deeper relationship between superman and lois. he needed to confirm this so that he can use lois to manipulate superman later on in the movie.

I still can't understand how superman was blamed for killing a lot of people during the hostage rescue with lois. Also, how will lois prove his innocence with the bullet. And why does lex have to make a unique bullet and put it there?

Also just reread your post. And somewhere along these lines I got confused. I don't think superman would have been able to deflect or dodge a kryptonian bullet while his weakened by the kryptonian smoke. And superman couldn't have shielded himself from the second smoke because he isn't really fully recovered yet.

- i cant recall if they ever blamed him for the death of the hostages. but if they did, it was because the bandits had killed them off and ran, setting superman up. ie it was his leroy jenkins strategy that caused their deaths. and also the theme that he is a god, who can save life, or bring death and destruction. it is that fear of god complex that had people riled up.
- im pretty sure lois wasnt blamed. she was a hostage afterall.
- lex didnt have to make the unique bullet. the bullet is made under his corporation, hence uniquely his. in essence, it was this carelessness that allowed someone like lois to connect the dots to him.
- the kryptonite would probably have been in a bullet casing, and would not have affected him until it exploded. unless you made a housing out of kryptonite? which i dont think batman had the technology to do. then again, he was able to turn it into smoke. you shouldnt look at it too deeply. it was done for story telling and cinema effects sakes.

I don't think it was simply poor writing though ;) Remember this was a certified fantasy and make believe movie thus anything goes!  But honestly and since I'm no fan of Superman or any of these super heroes I really do feel the makers and writers are just fooling and making the moviegoers and fanatics more and more DUMB to ever believe in fake super heroes. I would rather idolize my Dad and Mom as my real life super heroes rather than these certified fake ones! :P

^i admire your views towards your parents, but films (and in this case a fictional film) are a great vessel to fantasize and escape from reality. i dont agree that the purpose of film is to make people more dumb. however writers may dumb down a script so that the general population can follow the plot easier. although fictional characters are not real, they do symbolise positive ideals that could enrich life in general. and of course, there are the fans who simply just want to see their favourite comic book characters in live action kicking richard simmons.

Actually for me this movie was actually pretty smart and super hero movies aren't all just about action but also teaches moral lessons. Let me point out some moral lessons or realistic views that you can relate in real life found in this movie:

  • Like how politics and religion affect people as they coincide with each other.
  • How people can easily be blinded or manipulated by media and religion.
  • How people change and act based on their logical thinking and emotions.
  • How people can misjudged, misunderstood, or change their perspective based on different perspective views and thinking.

Most of all, are the awesome lines and quotes that teaches realization in life and realistic life lessons found in the movie like this link here,
