Popular Post Harukogirl
Okay, so a few days ago I promised to share some thoughts/ theories...here's some of what I've been thinking... Did you all watch Queen In Hyun's Man by the same writer? The theme of that drama - Same sky, different times - is shown in the posters and in my favorite OST track: See how there is only one moon/sun in the sky? And that the building continues on uninterrupted? But on the other hand, it is modern in one half and old in the other...night on one side, day one the other. Half moon, half sun. Same sky (place) different time. There is a track on the OST called "Same Sky, Different Time" As I wait for you with nothing to do My welled up tears are dyed with the sunset You, who is waiting for me at the other side of time Are rushing my heart again Under the same sky, in a different time Our sad love has tangled I place my earnest heart in the moonlight So I can shine brightly wherever you are A person like you, I’m so thankful to you My love can’t be entirely expressed with just words Though the rough times bruises and hurts me You protected me in your embrace Under the same sky, in a different time Our sad love has tangled I place my earnest heart in the moonlight So I can touch you wherever you are My love Under the same sky, in a different time This sad love can never beI will become the moonlight in the dusk sky and shine on you So you can find your way back to me Now, what about W: Two Worlds? The theme is, to me "Same time, different Sky" Look how the posters has two moons, and the setting is totally different on each side - different "sky" (place). But the moons are the same size and in the location in sky (mirrored) -it's the same time of day on each side - same time. Different worlds existing in the same time. Again, two Suns, one setting is inside, one outside - but the suns are in the same position in the sky. Same time, different sky. The first OST is called "Where Are U? When you look down at the world from the sky How would it look like? When you connect the dots of all the people What will it become? Maybe that will be the line That connects you and me You’re someone I’ll meet some day We just don’t know No one does I only look at things I want to look at I only search for things I’m curious about But that was you It was you We’re walking through the same time Connected to each other Whether I go to you Or you come to me Let’s be under the same sky We kept meeting, continuously We just didn’t see each other Whether it was good or bad, it didn’t matter We always passed by Maybe we’re actually close And know each other really well But we still don’t really know that truth No one does I only look at things I want to look at I only search for things I’m curious about But that was you It was you We’re walking through the same time Connected to each other Whether I go to you Or you come to me Let’s be under the same sky Let’s be under the same sky _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Now, here's where it all gets more interesting to me - In Queen In Hyun's Man, the original method of travel is created by a third character - the Ginseng friend. It was her love for KBD that acted like a protective talisman and allowed him to travel through time when his life was in danger. BUT it was his love for CHJ that kept drawing him back. In W: Two Worlds, as best we can tell so far, it is quite likely that YJ's father is the "creator" of the method of travel - we just don't know how yet. It's - as best we can tell - largely through the monitor. But KC and YJ's emotions are absolutely what is pulling them together. In Queen In Hyun's Man, there are rules to travel - go forward when you're in mortal danger, go back when you read the incantation. In W: Two Worlds, there are rules to the travel as well - going inside the rules are less clear to us yet (but we know there is a rule, the drama makes that clear), and coming out there has to be a "to be continued" In Queen In Hyun's Man, when KBD re-writes time he "erases" the future where he meets CHJ. BUT in doing so he creates a paradox - in order to have erased that future, he HAD to have traveled to that future. In the drama, it's clear that the way the paradox works out both futures are simultaneously true. The future where KBD meets CHJ both happened and did not happen. At first, only KBD remembers it - as he lives in the past, his memories were not affect by changes in the future time-line. But, because of CHJ strong emotions for KBD, when she meets him again it triggers those memories and she starts to experience the memories of the erased timeline. In W: Two Worlds, starting from the bridge incident, KC has started changing his "timeline" by re-writing the actions with his newly discovered free-will. This creates a paradox as well - in order for that defining moment to happen - for him to reject suicide so strongly that he developed a free will, it had to have happened. He had to have jumped. What he did was create an alternate version of his story, and both versions happened - and so he both jumped into the river and did not jump into the river. The memories of the alternate version were buried, but being next to an W-1 person - YJ - has triggered those buried memories and KC has started experiencing memories of the alternate versions of W-2. In Queen In Hyun's Man, at some point the talisman breaks permanently, KBD is stuck in the past - seemingly forever. CHJ has completely forgotten him, because her memories of the alternate timeline have been erased by his actions in the past again, and he isn't there to trigger those memories this time. BUT you can't completely forget a love that strong...even if it hasn't "happened" in the version of the future you're living in. Without spoiling everything - the ultimate message of the drama was that love can be stronger than time, than the rules of mystical time-travel, and stronger than fate itself. In W: Two Worlds, at some point the World-traveling device will probably fail completely. And the rules of their worlds will keep them apart. One or both of them may not remember what has happened - probably KC. So, will love be stronger than W-2's creater, stronger than the pull of the "story, " stronger than the rules of inter-dimensional travel....and even stronger than reality itself? I predict that their love will be stronger than the rules of their realities.
adeleyam
[Photos] "W" Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo's behind-the-scenes cuts Hancinema Spoiler Behind-the-scene cuts of Han Hyo-joo and Lee Jong-suk were posted as a way to overcome the Monday Blues. "W" is into its fourth episode and it's currently in the lead. Yeon-joo (Han Hyo-joo) who is sucked into the web-toon world succeeds in saving Kang Cheol (Lee Jong-suk) whenever he is in danger and Kang Cheol finally understands that he is a web-toon character. In the past four episodes, what stood out the most was Kang Cheol's good looks and Yeon-joo's spectacle of beauty. People are now calling them 'fairies'. Lee Jong-suk has also created a new speech trend which led to people calling him the 'Jojo Fairy'. Han Hyo-joo is apparently 'the most beautiful'. The behind-the-scene cuts released are of the two in the penthouse, or reading their scripts, making cute faces to make Han Hyo-joo laugh and more. Thanks to them, laughter never ends on the set. To celebrate the dramas success, the production has been creating phone backgrounds for the viewers and posting them on the drama's official Facebook. They are thinking of ways to communicate with the viewers more. sharreb
they didn't have a romatic relationship, they are only friends and she's his assitant but she's concidered one of the three most important people in Kang Cheol's life and she's the only female to add to that and she have feeling for him which he knows of but doesn't return and that's why the ajhussi told him that they were waiting for them to marry since she's the only close and special woman in his life (till Yeon Joo came )!! 3 hours ago, Harukogirl said: cr: as marked This one is so pretty.... aileesus
Sorry if this theory has been posted before/thought of because I am new here and wouldn't know: The dad is so EXTRA towards Kang Chul that it makes me think he did do something wrong. And remember kang Chul said he has had a lot of unexplainable events in his life and he also said he doesn't know why he went to the school on the night his parents died so maybe it was his other identity murdering them whilst the good version of kang chul was on 'autopilot' at the library (if anybody reads the manhwa lookism you'll understand what I mean more)???

Kỳ Thần Đỗ
So great drama. Unpredictable, logical, interesting and very emotional drama. Cannot wait for the next episodes. But still wonder how KC could survive in the real world? It's impossible, isn't it?

sharreb
Cam across this on tumblr. Cr:AHPHENG Spent my lunch break watching ep2 of W. Love that hospital conversation and the part in the car. Was enjoying not only YJ's expression but KC's reaction. His face says hes amused seeing YJ's mind spinning with excuses but he doesnt exactly burst her bubble. Hes trying to understand why she said what she said and how she came to him. Although ep 4 showed he reach his patience aft writernim try to kill him again, this time on the road.

Thank you The "Contents Power Index " rankings attempt to rank television programs based on the overall buzz that the shows create, factoring in things like internet search popularity and number of articles written about the show on news sites. Or this! The CPI number calculates viewer response to a show to determine influence based on: topic of interest (how many news articles), audience response (search rankings), SNS involvement, and the like. ~ from koalaplayground

Itenoria
I was wondering. Does anyone else think that maybe Chul is like Dorian Gray in the Portrait of Dorian Gray? Like maybe Seong Moo had subconsciously infused all his emotions and had transferred Chul's soul into the webtoon which would explain why he's so alive and vivid? Or maybe Seong Moo had transferred his soul instead into the webtoon? Because with how depressed Seong Moo had been back then, and how he'd used "W" and by extension "Chul" as his lifeline, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happening right now. But boy oh boy, this drama just keeps getting better and better .
