Actress Song Ji Hyo will be making a cameo appearance in her fellow “Running Man” cast member Lee Kwang Soo’s upcoming drama “Entourage.”

According to source in the drama industry on June 14, Song Ji Hyo has agreed to make a special appearance in the drama despite her busy schedule.

Along with Song Ji Hyo, “Entourage” has a big line-up of stars waiting for their cameo appearance. Since this drama is about the broadcasting industry, actual stars and singers will be appearing in it.

“Entourage” is a remake of the American series of the same name and is about what goes on in the entertainment industry. Seo Kang Joon plays the famous actor Young Bin, and his three friends will be played by Park Jung Min, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Dong Hwi. Lastly, the head of the entertainment company will be played by Jo Jin Woong.

This drama is a 100 percent pre-recorded drama and is planned to air in the second half of 2016.

MAMAMOO To Make Cameo Appearance On “Entourage”

Girl group MAMAMOO will be making a brief appearance on the highly anticipated Korean remake of the American hit series “Entourage.”

Drama industry affiliates revealed on June 15 that MAMAMOO participated in a shoot for “Entourage” and made a special cameo as a girl group. This is the members’ first time to appear in a drama.

Set in the entertainment industry, “Entourage” is expected to feature numerous cameo appearances by top actors and idols, including the previously reported Song Ji Hyo.

“Entourage” follows the life of the up-and-coming actor Young Bin, portrayed by Seo Kang Joon, and his three BFFs Park Jung Min, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Dong Hwi. Jo Jin Woong will play the head of the entertainment company.

Entirely pre-produced, the drama is expected to premiere in the latter half of this year.

Broadcast officials said that "The director Lee Joon-ik appeared on tvN drama special" Entourage "will be starring in a relationship with Park Jung Min hamkkehan the movie 'Dongju'."
 
'Entourage' star cameo appearances by director Lee Joon-ik this is not the first time. Song Ji-hyo, also previously known Mamamoo collected two topics that surprise appearance. More stars are going to be guesting on tvN's upcoming drama and remake of American series, 'Entourage'!

 

So far Song Ji Hyo and Lee Tae Im revealed they will be making special appearances. Now joining them are two talented actors, Kim Sung Kyun and Kang Ha Neul!  The former is part of agency Fantagio, which also houses lead Seo Kang Jun.  A rep revealed he will be guesting on the show to show support for his junior actor.

 

Kang Ha Neul's Sam Company rep stated that he was also planning to make a special appearance in the drama for his close friend, Park Jung Min.

Ha Jung-woo to make cameo in ‘Entourage’

 

Actor Ha Jung-woo will appear on the small screen for the first time in nine years, according to sources in the entertainment industry Friday.

The actor has been confirmed to take part in an upcoming tvN drama series tentatively titled “Entourage” as a special guest. Ha’s exact role in the new series has yet to be determined.

Although he will only appear for a cameo, the role is expected to make a splash, as it is the first time Ha will appear in a drama since “H.I.T” in 2007.

Ha is a renowned actor in Korea, who has taken part in numerous projects since his debut in 1998. He made himself known to the public through “The Chaser” (2008). Ha most recently starred in director Park Chan-wook’s film “The Handmaiden,” which was highly acclaimed at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

“Entourage” is a black comedy drama and a remake of the American drama of the same name that aired from 2004 to 2011.

The setting for the drama is a broadcasting station. The show will feature various singers and actors as cameo guests.

Other celebrities who have been confirmed to take part include actress Song Ji-hyo and actor Kang Ha-neul.

The first episode is scheduled to air in October.

'Entourage' is quite right... the cast members are busy enlisting the help of their connections and friends for a star-studded line up through special appearances!

 

Ha Jung Woo's agency, Fantagio, revealed on June 24, "Ha Jung Woo is confirmed to make a cameo appearance on 'Entourage.'  However, his role and when he's going to film have not been decided. He just received the appearance offer and said he'd do it."  He'll be appearing for agency junior Seo Kang Jun and movie co-star Jo Jin Woong.

His 'The Handmaiden' co-star Kim Tae Ri will also be making an appearance. Her rep stated the same day, "It is correct that Kim Tae Ri will be making a special appearance in 'Entourage.'  She's decided to appear out of loyalty to Jo Jin Woong with whom she worked in movie 'The Handmaiden.' The filming date, concept, and role are up in the air."

 

Looks like 'The Handmaiden' stars excluding Kim Min Hee will be showing up again in 'Entourage' together!
