Ron also looked great in pilot uniform! I love HK dramas especially detective ones but I normally avoid any TVB series that has more than 30 episodes. I gave Triumph in the Skies II a try because of Chilam, though I couldn't finish it, I'll definitely check out the film adaption!

YT only has 22 episodes  I found full 28 eps at vk.com, but you have to sign up to watch, if it's ok, I'll pm you the link.

Let's now move on to River's next project after the 2006 drama "New Become", that's Jay Chou's 2007 MV for his song "Blue and White Porcelain".

"Blue and White Porcelain" is a song from Taiwanese Mandopop artist Jay Chou's eighth Mandarin studio album "On the Run" which was released on November 1, 2007 by JVR Music, but was leaked onto the internet on October 31, 2007. The album was promoted via Onda Media Players, in which part of his album cover was printed on the front, his signature on the Media Player itself, and in certain cases, a small selection of his songs and music videos are included on the media player.

Blue and White Porcelain refers to antique Chinese porcelain. Its literal translation is Blue Flower Pot. The music video features Taiwanese actor Baron Chen, who co-starred with Chou in Kung Fu Dunk and Cherry Hsia. In 2008, the album was nominated for five awards at the 19th Golden Melody Awards, including Best Mandarin Album. It won Best Song of the Year for Blue and White Porcelain, Best Composer for Chou and Best Lyricist for Vincent Fang; also for Blue and White Porcelain.

Jay Chou is very popular, each and every one of his actions are the focus of fans, after the MVs for the movie "Secret" and his song '稻香 (Rice Of Fragrance)', the other song on his album '花海 (Sea Of Flowers)' has filmed the beautiful side of Taiwan again! In the MV for 'Sea Of Flowers', Jay has once again invited Baron Chen, who was in the MV for '青花瓷 (Blue and White Porcelain)', to be the male lead, being favored by Jay Chou twice now, Baron Chen expressed he was both honored and happy, he joked saying it was too much of a coincidence that for both times the word "Flower" is in the song title: "Does Jay Chou think I'm very suitable to flowers?"

The MV was filmed romantically, yet Jay Chou will be spending Valentine's Day this year working, recently he's been stressing his single status in front of the media, he expressed on the 14th he would be flying to China to hold a concert, he won't arrange anything special, instead he chooses to spend it with fans.

What can I say, this MV made me find my one true love, lol  Everything was just so beautiful and perfect..Jay's singing, music, lyrics, story, cinematography and of course, my beloved River Chen who looks absolutely gorgeous in both costumes. I always feel thankful to Jay Chou for being one of the people who brought him into my life and also his fans who'd shared lot of goodies about River at the time.

You're welcome @catrisa. I have never researched extensively for an MV before. I'm happy that it was a fruitful one.

I love the song too. I watched the video several times while doing the research and although I don't understand the lyrics, the melody is very sweet and easy to listen to. I plan to add it to my playlist.

In November 2007, Jay Chou was harshly criticized for attending the funeral of Taiwanese gang leader Chen Chi-li to console Chen's son Baron Chen, whom Chou met while filming Kung Fu Dunk. He was the most prominent celebrity mourner and a Taipei Times editorial stated that Chou "should be ashamed, but we are not sure if he has the depth of character to feel it." Chou, who showed up wearing sunglasses and left after only 20 minutes

Excerpt from a Chinese article about "Blue and White Porcelain" MV
(this is my rough translation. not as perfect as how our translators would do it, but i can't keep bothering them to translate something unless it's really, really important.)

Initially, after lyricist Vincent Fang heard Jay Chou's gentle and soft melody, he wrote "blue and white porcelain" using the awesome blue and white glaze color to describe the amazing ladylike moves of a woman. He said "Because the blue and white porcelain's glaze color is very beautiful, however, it's very fragile. To some extent, it is like a woman."

In the lyrics "The glazing of the lady's portrait hides her charm, Your smile, to me, like a budding flower" the image of a beautiful woman comes out alive on paper! "The calligraphy beneath the bottle, elegance of the Han Dynasty, Our meeting I foreshadowed" it points out the cycle of images, the previous dynasty means the ancestors, and the calligraphy beneath says, after a few reincarnations, do you want to meet the people you want to see, it is the same as foreshadowing. The mood in the "Blue and White Porcelain" MV is like the lyrics, which describes a cycle of love story. Just like in the past "Snow like Hair" MV, it has the same emotional entanglements of past lives.  Even the actress, Cherry Hsia (Xia Ru Zhi) has also been deliberately recruited. In the MV, Baron Chen played the hero, whose beloved woman was abducted and must trade off the rare "blue and white porcelain" for the woman.  But he did not expect the bad guy to kill his wife after getting the "blue and white porcelain". Space and time have moved and we arrive at the modern time at an auction for antiques. Cherry Hsia plays a woman bidding at an auction with her brother. It made me curious as how "drool-worthy" he could be, lol, so I went to check him up and ran into another forum where Jay fans chatting and sharing the photos they just took at KFD event. They talked about how good-looking River was in real life but he's not very photogenic which I agree as I wasn't attracted to him when I first saw his pics. Then they mentioned about him being in Jay's MV so I went to check it on YT and bam! I fall for him since. Ok, sorry for a silly long story of how I became a fan, lol.
