@lovemdbc Agrees with you. There are too many good songs.. and the amazing thing is whichever scenes they are played at, you can feel a particular song fitted to a particular scene so seamlessly well. It just made all the emotions so much better. I feel the the music coordination for MDBC is at a top level.

Yes this site rates Sandeul voice very highly. The only problem with Sandeul is he is not as experimental given his good & POWERFUL voice so it is a good thing he is with B1A4 where he gets more exposure to various genres than totally solo.  Have you seen him in Immortal Song 2...he won a top prize for solo there in one of the episodes. Ep 124 and another(Ep 78)  with Baro rapping for him.  The standard in immortal song is very high...and most of the winners in each episode are not idol singers.  B1A4 is a unique boy group to me, they can really offer good singing and dare to open their mouths to sing readily anytime, even without music.  

I saw HCY participated in the Chinese program "I am a singer" and I was impressed by him.  So far he is the only Korean I have seen on that program and he did very well.  He also participated in Immortal Songs and won 3 times  So he is definitely a singer of power to me and happy that he sang OST for MDBC.

Unfortunately, I do not know the other male singers well enough to comment.

@lovehbhjw2013 yes, I've  watched Sandeul's performance in Immortal Song Ep 196 - the first time that HCY performed on IS2, he was understandably nervous.  Song So Hee also appeared on that episode - I went to check her Wiki, she's a very young singer, who specialises in singing traditional Korean folk songs. I don't know if this video has been posted earlier - someone did a video of scenes from MDBC, background music a song by Song So Hee.

Thank you very much for Interview clip of Moonlight  Drawn By Clouds' designer: MCs tried cloths and commented like SeJa's are for very tall body. Kim Yoo Jung's cloth looked very detailed feminine. According to designer's interview posted in this forum, Park Bo Gum like the green hanbok in the lantern scene the most.

In my opinion, I like SeJa's and RaOn's couple Hanbok in the last scene the most.

Female MC in blue shirt is one of Park Bo Gum's Nuna fangirl, she is one of member in Sister Slam Dunk who used to ask for Park Bo Gum's hug if she get BaekSang award and he asked Ra Mi Ran to apologize because they had no chance to meet.

Audiences and Moonlight's fans would have much more interview to read and watch from Park Bo Gum's and Kim Yoo Jung's interviews after Cebu trip.

  SSH is just 19 (20 Korean age) - I am amazed at the young talent that S Korea produces - both singers, and just judging from the performances in MDBC, actors and actresses.

Agree...they are brilliant in grooming good talent and I hope they continue to do that to pander to our eyes' and ears' delight!     There is a lot to look forward to in their entertainment world.

Sidetrack a bit...this Junghyesung is so hot and she was made a chubby princess in MDBC....now we know she has further hidden assets under that fat suit.

OVERALL IMPRESSION

A lot of times, we hear people say the book is better than the live action; very rarely we hear the opposite, or that both are equally good. I like a book for its capacity to include in-depth insights into our characters’ thoughts, personalities and backstory. A drama can can’t achieve that because of limited episode lengths. However, in certain aspects, I appreciated this drama over the book because of its capability of turning text into beautiful visuals and sounds.

MEMORABLE PROMOTIONAL TEASER + OPENING THEME

Apart from the drama itself, two more things that merit a special mention are the first promotional teaser and the opening theme in each episode. A lot of efforts are put into promoting the drama—the unforgettable modern dance by Park Bo Gum in hanbok which confuses the crap out of us initially—thinking what type of drama are we getting ourselves into. This video remains entertaining and a mood-lifting clip that put a smile on my face to this day. I still wish to see him perform this again; maybe we can request a special performance by the 5 young actors in KBS Drama Awards end of this year.

Just passing by  I haven't done compiling my favorites from the drama  but I just can't help appreciate our young leads once again. I haven't watch a lot of dramas this year but in my opinion we have one of the best casts when it comes to the combination of visuals and acting. I mean just look at their character posters side-by-side, it's healing to the eyes and at the same time a shoutout on how amazing the drama will be even before we saw it  My only wish for today is for them to post a group selca now that the five of them are together in Cebu, jebal!

Also both walked the flowery path in the end literally and figuratively. Both the CP turned King gave their most beloved person the thing that mattered most to them. For one (MTES) the power to help the needy and another(MDBC) the freedom to be herself and do what gives her joy. That is to write.

 

Now that you listed it one by one, there are really many similarities between Bogum and Kim Soo Hyun when it comes to Moonlight and Moon-Sun. 

Also, there's similar tagline in Moon-Sun and Moonlight, "If we are destined to meet, we'll meet each other by any means."

Oh I love the scene between adult Hwon and young Yeon Woo so much, beautiful and powerful. I wish KYJ and Kim Soo Hyun will do a project together as siblings. They have great chemistry on and off camera.

Right? She's really wise and mature beyond her age. Eventhough she didn't like it when people said that she's mature, it can't be help.

She once said during another interview:

"At first I didn’t like these kind of words ‘mature’ or ‘you look like a grown-up’. I want to go slowly. But nowadays I just accept it as my own part. There’s no good to feel bad about it."

Just like Bogum's impession on her, that she's mature, many her co-stars also said the same thing. For example, Son Ho Jun, Bigbang Top, Kim Hee Sun.

Son Ho Jun (15 years different with Yoojung) said that before he worked with her, he was expecting her to be like a little child because of her young age. But after meeting her, he realized he's wrong, said that she's really beautiful and mature.

Top (12 years different with Yoojung) said that their mental ages are almost the same, so they're like friends.

Kim Hee Sun who is a mother said that KYJ deep down inside is really mature (her way of thinking), like someone in their mid-to-late twenties, she even said that KYJ is really mature even more than her.

 

Nice thing is eventhough her way of thinking is really mature she can balance it with her youthful attitude.
