Synopsis:

In the ancient times, 6th Prince Mu Yun Sheng (Huang Xuan) was born. Because his mom is a demon, he is not loved by the Emperor, and lives in seclusion and loneliness. He happens to obtain an antique painting of a spirit demon and befriends the little trapped being. Both promise to escape to the world’s most beautiful place. Mu Ru Han Jiang (Shawn Dou), son of a general, is elected to be the prince’s friend since he was young. Their peaceful days end when the eight tribes rebel. Mu Ru army fails to protect the royal family and is then exiled, breaking the friendship formed between the two families – Mu Yun and Mu Run. A few years later, a new rebellion threatens the royal family and this time, adult Mu Ru Han Jiang is the only one capable of protecting them. Pain and sorrows of past wounds now manifest in the new generation.

It's so beautiful!! I heard it will broadcast in December. My heart is bleeding.. why did I find this drama so early?? It looks like this one is going to be a gem. I can feel it from the trailer, it's that same feeling I got when I watched Nirvana in Fire`s trailer the first time. I can't sit still!!!!

Story seems to base on a make-up world (i mean not set in any actual china dynasty)...with various races and clans...so quite alot of chars.

Here's link for new trailer with English subs. You need to click on the CC icon at the bottom right of the screen for the subs to show. Thanks to the uploader for the subs. All of the trailers look so great!  Saw at other sites the drama will be released sometime Fall 2017, so hope that it's true.

It appears that the drama is going to be 50 episodes and Dramafever may get the license  https://www.dramafever.com/drama/4922/Tribes_and_Empires%3A_Storm_of_Prophecy_-_%E4%B9%9D%E5%B7%9E%C2%B7%E6%B5%B7%E4%B8%8A%E7%89%A7%E4%BA%91%E8%AE%B0/ But it's going to be broadcast on HUNAN someone please tell me I'm dreaming because Hunan is bound to edit out the good parts.  I really hope Dragon TV or some other station broadcasts it  because I want to see the full episode.~ I have absolutely no faith in Hunan after what they did to The Journey of Flower, They  leave all the good parts in the previews and openings and edit the actual footage so you never see it

Yes, it's true that Hunan is the broadcaster in China, but I believe several streaming sites also have rights, so perhaps it won't be edited down. Another thing that might happen is that they may have an international version. I've seen a few Chinese dramas where there were several versions released and had different content. I guess we'll have to see. Both Dramafever and Viki have pages for this drama on their sites, so hopefully it will get liscensed by one or the other. (or both)
