“Produce 101” Reveals Official Poster and Air Date

On December 8, Mnet released the official poster for their upcoming girl group survival program, “Produce 101.”

The show has gathered 101 female trainees from 46 agencies across the country in order to create a project girl group. The viewers will be the “producers” of the group, choosing which members will debut as well as the concept, debut song, and group name.

The poster features the faces of the 101 trainees in the show as well as the airdate for the first episode. Meanwhile, the group is scheduled to perform “Pick Me” at the opening of a professional basketball game on January 10. The trainees revealed themselves for the first time by performing the EDM track on “M!Countdown” in December.

The first episode of “Produce 101” will air on January 22 at 11 p.m KST.
