JingYu groaned softly as he stretched, his eyes slowly opening against the sunlight. Though not a morning person, the first thing he saw this morning caused him to smile. WeiZhou's face, peaceful in sleep, filled JingYu with an utter contentment he found foreign, yet wonderful. Just staring at that face, feeling the heat of the body next to his, hearing the soft whisper of steady breathing, all of these filled JingYu until he felt gluttonous. These last couple of days, days where neither of them had work or schedules to attend to, had been incredibly...normal. Just spending time together, just being - together, had calmed both of their hearts against outside influences. They weren't delusional about things. They stayed inside, not venturing into public together, but that time secluded in the apartment had eased tensions that had begun developing between them instead of heightening them. 

Gently sliding out of bed, so as not to wake WeiZhou, he pulled on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. He chanced placing his lips to a temple before going to start his day. They had fallen into a comfortable routine whenever together. Whoever woke first would start breakfast before waking the other. Entering the kitchen, JingYu thought about what to prepare. He was still cautious of WeiZhou's eating habits, so he decided upon a simple soup and some rice. As he set himself to the task, JingYu let the simple pleasure of cooking for WeiZhou fill another part of his soul he had not known was empty. This was how being with WeiZhou had changed him. Simple, everyday things now held a joy he had never known before. Life was good, he thought.

WeiZhou came shuffling into the kitchen just as JingYu was scooping the rice into bowls. JingYu felt a head lean against his back moments before two arms encircled his waist. A sleepy, muffled "morning" brought a smile to his lips. Setting the bowl in his hand aside, he turned his head toward the one that now rested on his shoulder.

"Morning yourself," he said, his fingers finding their way to cradle the face so close to his own. For a long moment, they stared at each other, before WeiZhou's eyes began to slide down JingYu's face and come to a stop on his lips. Eyelids slowly closing themselves, WeiZhou waited for JingYu, who happily granted the silent request. As JingYu's lips pressed into his, WeiZhou hummed, his fingers tugging at the shirt in their grasp. When JingYu raised his head away, a soft grin turned up the corners of WeiZhou's lips, his eyelids opening as slowly as they had closed.

"Now I'm awake," he said, a hint of cheerfulness in his voice, his arms squeezing JingYu's waist before letting go. 

The two men sat down to breakfast, the silence between them relaxed and easy. There was no rush of words or actions, as they knew they had all day to be with each other. JingYu was happy to see WeiZhou eat everything in his bowl with no complaints. After breakfast, their joint effort made quick work of the clean up. With the day stretched out before them, they settled themselves on the couch to watch a movie, an action/thriller/mystery they had both been wanting to see. Maybe it was a good thing they couldn't go to the cinema together. They would have probably been kicked out as they talked through the entire show, commenting on everything from the acting and storyline, to the music and special effects. When the movie ended, they decided to watch another. It wasn't that they were bored, there just wasn't much they wanted or needed to do. Both men were just enjoying the plain time they had together.  

As the credits played on the television screen, JingYu pulled WeiZhou against his side. Throughout the movie, a melodramatic story of friendship lost through war, he had become increasingly agitated. The story had made JingYu realize that in just over 24 hours he would have to walk out of that front door and back into the world outside. A world where his time with the person he loved was distant and brief. 

"Stop thinking, JingYu." WeiZhou's voice was strong and husky. He turned his head to look into JingYu's eyes. "I hear the wheels turning in your head. Don't think about it, okay?"

JingYu felt small under the look of determination and strong will that WeiZhou gave him. He had tried to ignore his thoughts throughout the movie, had tried to focus on just the moment and not something that had not happened yet. Recently, he had been the one calming WeiZhou's fears and worries, but for some reason, today, today that had started out so peaceful in his heart, had been flipped upside down, and he was the one who needed calming reassurance. He felt ashamed for how easily his mood had been changed. Forcing a grin, JingYu let go of WeiZhou and stood, reaching up to stretch out his muscles that had been sitting for too long. 

"You know me too well, Zhou, but I'm okay." Glancing at the clock on the wall, JingYu turned towards the kitchen. "It's after noon. We should fix some lunch. You hungry for anything?"

A hand reached out and grabbed his before he could take a step. Turning back, JingYu waited for a response as WeiZhou slowly stood, pressing a soft kiss on JingYu's lips, his hands taking hold of JingYu's face. 

"You. All I want, all I need, is you, here with me, in this place, in this time."

JingYu shivered as his emotions crashed together in the center of his being. How could he feel so weak when this strong, unyielding man was with him? They both had their times of worry and indecision, but those were usually when they were apart. How could he now, when together with this man who completed him so amazingly, let those fears and concerns overtake him?

"JingYu, please, don't leave me before you have to leave."

Those words struck JingYu like lightning.  He threw his arms around WeiZhou, pulling him into himself. He wanted to beg WeiZhou to hold on to him, to not let him leave, but even his breath was stuck in his throat. He could only hold onto WeiZhou, hold on to the one thing that kept him where he was in that moment.  WeiZhou's hands pressed into his back in return, as though answering the silent plea to not let go. Time stopped as they held on to each other, neither stepping back or loosening themselves. They stood as one, their hearts beating against each other in a shared rhythm. Everything faded from existence except the other man each held. 

Finally, WeiZhou did break his embrace, but only slightly. His hands framed JingYu's face as he kissed him, his lips soft yet urgent in their exploration, his tongue gently parting lips with smooth strokes. JingYu hesitantly opened himself to the gentle caress of WeiZhou's tongue against his. He didn't deserve this, he thought. He was not worthy of this amazing love and comfort he felt coming from WeiZhou. Even as his arms drew WeiZhou closer to him yet, JingYu questioned himself. 

WeiZhou could feel the tension in JingYu's body still. He knew his lover well enough that he could hear the thoughts in JingYu's head. He could not force JingYu to let those go, but he would do everything within his power to drive them out. Pulling his lips from JingYu's, he stepped back, a slight smile on his face as he took JingYu's hand and began leading him toward the bedroom. JingYu followed with shuffling steps.

When WeiZhou sat on the edge of the bed, JingYu remained standing, a pained look on his face. WeiZhou simply smiled and patted the bed next to him. After taking a deep breath, JingYu sat, his posture stiff, though. WeiZhou, filled with determination, turned JingYu's head and began kissing him with the same gentle urgency as he had in the living room. One hand caressed along JingYu's neck as his other hand floated along a strong arm until he was able to lace their fingers together. This action brought a moan bubbling out of JingYu, his free hand catching on WeiZhou's back, pulling him close.

Little by little, WeiZhou could feel muscles relaxing under his hands and JingYu's lips pressing more fully into his. Raising his head from JingYu's, WeiZhou swung his body to straddle muscled thighs, his knees pressing into the bed on either side. Now fully able to embrace, their bodies began to search for more from each other. WeiZhou flicked his tongue at the sensitive spot on JingYu's neck as his fingers played with the hem of JingYu's shirt, gliding underneath to scrape along hot, smooth skin. With the sudden urge to feel all of JingYu's warmth, WeiZhou lifted the shirt over his head, his hands splaying across JingYu's back, burning at the touch. JingYu's mouth moved along WeiZhou's neck, lips and tongue leaving a trail of fire in their wake. WeiZhou quickly disposed of his own shirt, pressing himself into JingYu, chests melding to each other as inner fires spread between muscles and skin. 

There was no great urgency between them, just a need to feel and be felt everywhere at once. Hands and lips explored already well known bodies. With a slight groan between them, WeiZhou stood, both men completing their disrobement, even as their mouths still fed on each other. Now free of any barriers, WeiZhou again straddled JingYu, only to have JingYu pull him down as he lay back on the bed. Laying atop JingYu, feeling connected to him through skin and breath, WeiZhou desperately felt his body, no, his soul, begging for more. As JingYu's hands grasped and kneaded his hips and rear, WeiZhou hastily sat up to reach toward the bedside table. Returning to JingYu's lips, he began his plea. 

"All I want is you. All I need is you," he breathed into JingYu, his hands pulling at JingYu's head to deepen their kiss, as JingYu's hands spread and nurtured him. 

JingYu felt himself taken over by the force of WeiZhou's determination to be one in that moment. With no other thought in him, JingYu echoed the urgent plea WeiZhou had voiced. As he guided WeiZhou onto him, JingYu's heart cried out his lover's words, "All I want is you! All I need is you!," though his voice could only gasp at the overwhelming sensations that spread throughout his body. With JingYu's hands gently smoothing along his back and sides, WeiZhou raised himself slowly, his eyes locking with JingYu's. As their joint movements of thighs and hips sent them through space and time, even as JingYu's hand caressed him towards completion, WeiZhou caressed JingYu's face, conveying more silent messages that only JingYu could hear. 

 

Laying together some time later, bodies still melded with the lingering heat, lips still finding their way to each other for gentle touches, JingYu basked in the peaceful joy he had felt that morning. Staring at WeiZhou's face, feeling his heat next to him, hearing the soft whisper of his breathing. This was all he needed, yes.

"I'll never leave you, ZhouZhou. Even when I have to go back to Shanghai, I will never leave you."

He could bring along a young prospective artist to introduce him to the world movie producers. Hi ya'll, I hope this post finds everyone well both the ancient and the newly Addicted.

For the first time in a while I feel so melancholic! I'll hide the rest of my ramblings......

For the past few days I have been looking around for other BL films to watch... today I have come to the conclusion that Shangyin has completely ruined me for the BL genre of films at the moment. I start watching a film and 5 minutes into it I'm like:

  nope nope....

....  Oh c'mon! Seriously?!!!!

*sigh*  the acting and script is just - nawww nawwww *closes streaming site*

It doesn't help that I'm not getting any of my YuZhou fixes either. I think I'm at that stage of withdrawal where one is just constantly restless and breaking into cold sweats. I feel so annoyed, nothing BL related is pleasing me right now! 

In my ideal world, right about now, there would be new updates of Zhou and Yu together! Pictures of them at a restaurant with maybe friends; posts by JY encouraging Zhou with his tour and Zhou sending kitty emoticons; an announcement of second season to debut in mid December ...................... but nope  that's not happening. I used look at others who created similar spoilers like this to vent and be like "Aishhh! Just why are you so negative?" but when that feeling hits, it hits hard and the anxiety that comes with it is no joke! I miss them - the them together so much it irritates and annoys the heck out of me. Speculation doesn't hold me anymore - I literally want to see content with them together - authentic content. I don't give a hoot whether it is friendly or romantic content. I just want to see them together.

*SIGH* I do not know what to do with this aspect of my life anymore - I'm at a loss....

I continue to hope and pray that they do well and find joy as life progresses and that this industry doesn't just chew and spit them out like used gum. So' any uplifting news a get about them I am thankful for - but still......

I haven't posted in a while but I wish everyone better Addicted days!

Agree. And nowadays when I see the old pictures of them I feel like it was just a dream and never happened. Such a strange feeling as this whole Addicted Era was just a surreal dream...

He said that he will announce when he sign.  He did not sign Huayi, if he did, he would have done it at the same time that Xiaolong (his former broker) did.  My speculation is that he won't sign due to the fact that he already have plans for releasing his own line of clothing (hoodie/sweater) or building his own business.  I believe he's planning to mix industry, fashion, and entertainment.  This is nearly impossible if he sign with someone like Huayi unless they offer him a very very very loose contract, which might incite discontentments among other artists that have already signed.  Also, he was invited to Cannes by Bazaar and Salted Live not exclusively Huayi.  Throughout his stay at Cannes, the group he hanged out with are people from the fashion/business circle (CEO of Salted Live and Somans who some people referred to as the devil wears Prada).  These are people experience in the business world!  I think he's going to take a shot at making it on his own for now unless someone offer him an opportunity that complies with his own sense of freedom.  You have to remember that JY is happy to work as a bartender on a beachside or a diving instructor (these are his dream jobs before Addicted/Shanyin).  Entertainment was never really something he contemplate about before entering, but since he's been throw in the middle of it, he will stick to it due to the vast amount of opportunities open to him.  

His personal slogan is 'freedom', so sacrificing it just for a doorway to further his career in the entertainment industry (something that has never really been his dream) just does not make sense to me.  To me, if entertainment is not open to him, he will enter industry and fashion.  Right now, he's the darling newbie of the fashion circle.  On the other note, I can already tell that the Entertainment industry won't let him go, he has too much potential in it and they will want to gobble him up whether he sign with a big company or not.

@charlie10 yeah i dont get it why they were banned individually as well. Wasnt it better if they started promoting individually then Shangyin would soon become just a long-time-ago movie? Especially for the Amazing Race since JY already attended the conference and I find that really rude of them to do this to him unless our delulu theory was actually right. That ZZ was meant to partner up with JY and there wasnt enough time for them to find someone to replace ZZ because the second ban took place only a few days before TFM 17/4 and the Amazing Race official conference was 18 or 19/4? or its a mix between JY didn't want to cause trouble for this show as well (Im sure they both felt guilty for both HC and RFT's crews and guests) and the show producer didnt want to take risks because it would be hard for them to edit him out (since its a long term show) in case the official ban actually took place instead of just rumours.

Agreed! That's why I wrote about the possibility of the trial period, not the actual contract. Besides, there are sorts of verbal agreements common in showbusiness. Modelling is fine, still not every model comes to the opening dinner at Cannes.

@pureblade @ayasdai couldnt agree more with you guyz, until the point that it is soo upseting! Tons of new BL series while our beloved series is banned

Just my bad thoughts might be a little delulu that there is some kind of conspiracy of big entertaintment companies, who doesnt like this 1 night success of CJD team.. and do something to persuade SARft for this banned thing or soo... artgh its frustrating!

Hey Guys, do you think we could start an online petition for Netflix to continue the production of Addicted/Heroin? I guess Netflix could do a good job and wouldn't be suppressed by China' censor. Also, Netflix been doing a lot of LGBT themed productions, it would be of their interest to purchase the rights to produce such a succesfull series. Of course, we would ask for the same main characters/actores to be hired. Do you guys think this may work at all, or if it's worth trying?

@tea4two I really agree with what you say. 

In a way, the fashion industry fits his personality - more open, alternative and room for him to express. And he is a model first and foremost. 

Wherealas - the entertainment industry can be stifling and rules-abiding. Especially where they are from. I mean, entertainers all have a certain personas, groomed by their management in order to fit a certain image and appeal to a certain profile.

Jingyu always strikes me as somebody with a wandering spirit, likes his freedom...this is evident in the way he speaks, always with candor and wit. A little - 我行我素. (Meaning he always does what he wants within his control)

Let's hope he succeeds with whatever he embarks on next. And then he will be a force to reckon with.
