It's one of the official posters for the movie. The sentence may be from the lyrics of the song, since the lyrics has many images of animals: butterfly, cheetah, ants etc. So some guess the current song is not a complete one, it has a second part.

Thanks!

Darn i got so excited.. Thought it was some yuzhou conspiracy :(

Yes, I remember also, and I did not enough noticed it was french reading of music (do, re, mi etc.). He must have studied under a french pr. or at least a pr. who studied in that language. Actually many of his outfits have french background (PIGALLE, L'ENFANT TERRIBLE, devotion to Jean cocteau etc.). I wait for him going to France.

What? No!

Solmization or how you read music scale with do,re,mi, etc instead of c,d,e,f,etc is very much global. It's not only limited to France. This solmization is common in English speaking countries, Europe, and also in Asia.

It was not even french who first brought this solmization. This solmization was created by an Italian music theorist, Guido d'Azzero in 11th Century. It was taken from a hymne called "Ut Queant Laxis".

And I know you're ecstatic to see that his outfits have some french words on it, but it's actually also very common to have shirts slapped with some french words since France is famous worldwide for its fashion.

Sorry to say, you don't really know about China. Western news is not always right, but biased. The South China Sea problem I understand, as each country has its own standing, but I have to say most Chinese citizens will diagree with you, not just the govenment. And since when did air and water pollution horrifically affect the globe? China has many problems, but none more so than some other countries, even the west.

Let's not demonize China and drag political issues into this discussin. Instead focus on the series and actors. The ban does make me angry and frustrated, but the actors are moving on with their life and new projects, and I hope in the not so distant future, all will be better.

actually choked up water and it is currently running down my chin thank you @thoron :bawling:

Hi! As I don't claim to be an expert on politics, I'm just going to quickly address the bolded. Western news is biased, but it does hold fact. And it is a fact that oceans exist. If China is polluting water, this water is likely to someday run into the ocean and oceans belong to no one. We are all affected by what happens to our oceans. And coincidentally enough, there was an article today titled:

Apocalypse now! Alarming images of a Chinese waterway that turned BLOOD RED due to illegal waste discharge

With this attached image:

I'm not here to argue, but let's not pretend that air and water pollution (regardless of which country does the polluting) don't affect other nations. We don't acknowledge that it does, example being how we don't acknowledge the damage Japan's nuclear power plant has had on marine life, but it's a problem that's very much real and, in my opinion, should be more acknowledged. Like you pointed out, it's not just China that has problems. All other nations do as well, but we also shouldn't ignore that China indeed does have problems.

Okay, back to the novel/series/actors! ^_^

Sorry to say one last word: I do not disagree that the pollution affect other nations as well, I just disagree with the extent "horrifically", as if China is single-handedly murdering the earth, and in certain degrees the air pollution in China is actually slowly improving. The news holds some facts, but not all the facts. I just mean some of the problems are very complicated and China shouldn't be singled out to take all the blame.

Sorry I did not want to butt into the convo, but sometimes I lurk in this thread. Since I am studying environmental health, I have to say something. yes, china does have lot of pollution, but most of this pollution comes from factories that are manufacturing products for developed nations. Environmental specialists know about whatever I will be writing next and blame developed nations for chna's pollution. The develooped nations have established factories there to produce stuff at a cheaper cost while avoiding pollution in their own country.

This has been going on for decades. Now, china has been so badly polluted and the developed countries are taking the most blame. EVen when it comes to destroy old machinaries and ships and other stuff, the developed countries export them to the develoing countries like China and India to avoid pollution in their own countries. So, WHO meetings have determined that from now on, most of the cost for the fight against pollution in any developing or underdeveloped countries will fall on the developed countries since they were mostly responsible for that with their factories. Unfortunately, the situation in China is really bad.

P.S. I am studying environmental health in the US and all my professors agree with what I wrote above. :(

Let us keep quite and not shout "victory" so soon.

For "western world", what about the Bizantine ?

I would applause "Bravo" if it is Italian, as many things concerning music and singing (Stendhal, again).

But the true world origin of solmisation (and not so-do-idem) is India, with sa, re, ga, ma, pa, da, ni, etc. (il se trouve, tout à fait à propos, que j'ai étudié le chant sous un maître musicien indien). And this goes back to the vedic times.

Fashion is using mainly US words, especially for teens. If ZZ has some French, it is his personal choice, no doubt. And I am not "ecstatic" about ZZ or JY's outfits with or without French words, even not about the Cocteauian touch they show in fashion, I am only extatic at the pair they are.

First, dito!

Second, what possible reason could JY have to bring three phones with him? I can understand that it's possible that he owns three phones, but why use them all at the same time?

One for business, one for games , one for talking to ZZ for hours and hours...

Or: one IS ZZ's - he's just bringing it home.

That pic you posted  earlier in B/W of him taken from the top or the side? That was gorgeous. For me that was very artsy. No smile, not even showing his full face, but I find that really great. I think it's from this scene.

Lemme put it this way:

JY: "I can't, it won't work, help, help.."

ZZ *leans his body onto JY, reached out his hands, his finger slowly run on JY's hand, whispers into JY's ear*: "Lemme help you." *press it*
