Am I expecting too much? I really don't have an answer for this.

His first 2 songs were fine, if he could keep that up, it would be okay for his first album.

TBH, when his 3rd song, Moonlight, was out, I listened to it and my first reaction was " that's it?", but well, 1 not so good song in an album is acceptable, right?

Then that infamous  IRYE, seriously, I don't talk about the accused plagiarism aspect, But I wouldn't call that a song at all, it was an amateur attempt rather than a work of a professional and it was an English song for God's sake, his pronunciation still pains me every time I remember that song. But it's his first English song, okay, first try never perfect anyway, I lowered my standards. 

But his songs, damn it, why it only turns worse? And the theme for his album is all over the places. And his vocal T__T OTL does he really want to become a singer at all? If you close your eyes and don't let your fangirl/fanboy heart step in, will you feel like you're listening to a professional record? Will you buy it with your hard earned money. My answer is no. 

His acting skill is not that good either. But in a movie, he won't be alone, and he might just have a small role and he can learn from other seasoned actors. While recording a solo album, he only has himself to blame. Wish him luck.

Anyway, some people said HJY would be a better singer, I don't think so. I do like the tone of HJY's voice but his vocal range is not good and he doesn't have good sense for tempo and height of the note. Well, both XWZ and HJY don't have it in them to become great singer.

Well(IMHO).......about ZZ songs, some people like it but some people don't but I think it's back to personal taste regardless you're fangirl (fanboy) or not. I agree with you about his vocal, he seriously need vocal coach to improve his vocal range. But the main point for me is his interpretation, it's like lack of emotions in his songs (except "Walk Slowly").

@hawhaw88 , try listen to "The Greatest Basso" from Zhao Pheng and you will fall in love with all about BASS voice

Nah, some people just like to shower with a towel because they use the towel to ah....scrub their backs?  GH should have offered to do that for BLY.

And yes to the 'shower gel" commercial break. Totally pulled me out of the show for a moment even though it is excellent fan service. I remember LOL the first time I watched it.

Since stalking JY's IG is my hobby, I smell something strange. JY followes several bikini models  and a nude model at around the beginning of March. But on the 11th of April (the day of the fancam which he was caught looking at ZZ when the lights off in the music adward event), he unfollowed that IG. Even if HJY and XWZ don't online weibo at the substantial same time, CP fans have their explanation: it's HJY logs out his weibo account then logs in XWZ's account, which means HJY has XWZ's weibo password and such.

I can not read chinese yet, so I read all english translation and korean translation of 'Are you addicted?'.

 

I think that this novel is good but not excellent. Some part is very good, but some part is poor. I read many BL books. Honestly, If someone else acts GH's role or BYL's role, Drama could not success like this mess. I think JY and ZZ's charming made this drama success. Not their abilities. Also not novel's good story telling.

 

BYL charactor in drama is different from novel. I feels ZZ' BYL is shy and some pitiful. In my eyes, he is not genious, indifferent. His smile is mischievous and chilish.  Sometimes, his face is ugly.  But, novel describe...

 

BLY laughed. He didn't hide his laughter at all. The noon sun of an autumn day shone upon his face. He looked relaxed and carefree. GH looked at him silently. At this moment, his heart lost some balance out of a sudden

He's hot and cold to people and he's clear-cut with his relationships. When he's cold, you would feel that he's nothing like the hot sun above his head. But, when he occasionally warms up to you, every bit of snow in your heart will melt instantly.

 

He has adorable smile but did not show in drama. I saw YY interview many times to see his smile. His smile and looks fascinate me, but he did now show it in drama. I think that they would play better if they had enough time. They said that they played 1 time or 2 times for one scene. It's too hard to newbie.

 

Their acting is not good, but they can persuade peoples to like and sympathize with these characters. I think that reason is not their appearance, but their charming and aura. They are newbie. Sometimes, they are nervous and don't show their abilities and charming. Sometimes, they fascinate people. Now, they are young and immature, so, their charming is bigger. As most entertainers go thru hard training and do their job well, their unripe charming vanish.

 

ZZ's music taste is  too wide. He can do dancing, singing, beat box, all kind of metal and composition. I don't imagine he will be some kind of singer. He said that music was his hobby and his singing ability is not good.

 

I think he can act better. I want to see him in another drama. Also, when he releases his album. I'll buy it.

XWZ's voice doesn't have that wow factor, you know, you don't just listen to his singing and get stunned, or get goosebumps or something like that, he can't hit the crazy high note, his breath control when singing isn't good either. His voice, at most, is what I'd say kinda ear-catchy? easy to listen to. He needs serious practice. 

And have you listened to HJY's singing on changba? Sometimes the comments on WB cracks me up so bad XD Yeah they did compiled it,  the last time I saw their nicknames compilation was quite a while ago and oops.. I didn't save it ><  I think they might compile it again when the amount of nicknames reach another milestone haha

Ooh! I just realized something from this! Now I understand the hidden meaning of this pic from ZZ's instagram.  

It's because he's been promoting "Light" all the time. The name of his album, song, fanmeeting. So hence he bathed in light. So artistic. Must be JY's idea, right? He's good in photography after all

 

Oooh! Another realization!

Since we're talking about artistic, is that why JY's pic update is a contrast to ZZ? Dark and light?  In contrast with each other yet complete each other.
