I've no idea, but the shoes look the same to me too! I laughed so much seeing the fanart - she's so brilliant (and quick!). Because this was my first thought too, that it's ZZ's goodbye present to JY. 'Look how beautiful I made your shoes! Now you can wear them to everything! And always think of me.' JY looks really tired today, poor thing. Well, he has a cold and he's leaving ZZ, so of course he's feeling down. 

@bearology - the more I think about it, I'm sure those are the same shoes as in the MV. He wore them recently and they looked normal then. So this new decoration is from the past few weeks. And no matter how you look at it, they look like crap - I thought he had stepped in mud first. So the question is, why is he wearing them looking like this? It means something to him. Maybe it's just his rebellious side? Or you can imagine what I did above... That computer, though!  Not much imagination needed there. ☺

But I'm so glad JY is doing a film now. And that it's really happening. Surely that must mean that the ban or whatever it was is loosening up? But now I want news on ZZ's plans too. Is there anything at all on his agenda, apart from the two festivals in Sept? I hope he's doing that film/tv which was mentioned before. I'm sure there are lots of things going on, auditions, meetings, plans, scripts, etc which we never hear about. I just hope some of the plans come to fruition soon.

I remember JY once said in one interview that he doesnt like playing games? (I can't remember the exact word). JY also said YZ dont share many common interests. And JY's face when ZZ said he liked Gogoing (Men's Uno interview).  #deluluon

I guess that's air spray paint on JY's shoes? Maybe someone (or, two someones) were painting his (their) skateboards last night or something like that?

Or, totally possible a kitten was being naughty and sprayed the paint toward a whale while they were painting the boards...

JY had stated in many interviews that he did not like playing games. If he does now, that's certainly bad influence from a friend. 

His face when ZZ said Gogoing was pure jealousy, in my delulu mind LOL. It was "what, you idolised another man and have never told me anything about him at all!?" kind of stare xD

Oh, those messages from ZZ's friends are so beautiful. Happy that he has so many friends supporting him (and his family! Mother and Father Xu are the best!).

Really? The johnny we know whom is always stylish yet understated wearing a pair of shoes splashed haphazardly with paint. There is nothing artistic about the Colour shoes...and honestly wearing it like that will cause more attention...so why, Johnny?

The shoes are the same brand as the one he wore in "Walk Slowly" MTV. It is Chinese brand "Hui Li"  https://world.tmall.com/item/17377550885.htm?spm=a312a.7700714.0.0.WAauat Unlike his other shoes which are all on the  pricey side, Hui Li are really really inexpensive! (I think he wore Hui Li at the beach because he doesnt want to dirty his other shoes.. Haha. I really like his Yves Saint Laurent  low cut sneakers with the red details, the vans he wore the other night was nice too... gimme gimme )  I actually kind of  like what he did with them and thought he could carry them off. I like grafitti designs on shoes, and his are presumably DIY efforts and look extra gritty. I think I'm going to buy one pair myself and try splashing paints on them... I can finally have a 同类(same style )!Haha !!

In an earlier thread, we mentioned there are 5 themes for the photo book. 

This one seems to match with the first one which is "Beginning with the Sea". The poem appears to be referencing the times they were shooting the Addicted Web Series. After all, they are breaking social rules and norms by filming the show. And we know how carefree they were.. and they were on the same bed...

If he really wrote this himself, he is quite talented with words. Weibo fans are calling him "Married Poet". Lol

I wonder if the instagram photo on "Be true to myself" is actually a prequel to the next theme.
