Some news about JY  if any of you are interested.  With  filming for DWS coming to a close today, Pardon_Wu penned a fairly long post on her WB to share how she have seen JY won over the cast and production crew, and how proud she is to be a fan of JY.

We all know how big a fan she is of JY and she followed the filming of the DWS closely. She is also a student at Beijing University where JY filmed the previous episode. Being a constantly  around JY and the crew, she managed to strike up several causal conversations with the members of the crew and production team in a bid to find out how he is faring. Apparently when the production team met JY for the first time, they were a worried it may not be a wise decision to cast him in a variety game show like DWS as he comes across shy and not much of a talker.   They were concerned he may not be able to open up and be spontaneous enough for such a programme with his quiet nature. But after filming the first episode, they were very happy with his performance and even accomdated his busy schedule when he has to travel out of Beijing. One director told her he has seen many good looking actors and JY is definitely not the best looking one he had worked with. But having worked and interact with JY for sometime, he felt  this 小孩儿 (little child) is very innocent and has a very good character, and character is more important than looks at the end of the day. And everyone likes him. Pardon expressed her joy and how proud she is to hear how well-liked he is by everyone. She felt reassured because JY has lots of fans who followed him around and she was worried the production team would get annoyed, or the directors will have a negative impression of JY and feel irked about  working with him. 

She also mentioned JY has a very punishing schedule, packed full of filming, locations shooting, sessions at the recording studios, post production matters, Media events , and his days typically ends only in the wee hours of the morning. But however tired he is, he always smile at his fans and would say hi to them. He would never show them an unhappy face. 

Although season 1 is coming to an end, there will be a second season and she looks forward seeing JY grow professionally and become a better artiste. She is very happy to see JY enjoying himself while filming the prgramme and she expressed how grateful she is to the production team for taking great care of him and also making allowances for the hordes of fans who followed them around.  As a fan, she hopes to see JY happy and smiling everyday. "

终于最后一期约吧录完了 作为粉丝 除了等待更多的是见证了他的成长吧。
下面这些话是我这一段时间跟各种人断断续续聊的  有导演有摄助有的我也不知道是谁 等待的内段时间总是想打听到他更多的情况嘛。
一开始导演组见到的时候觉得很担心，因为很腼腆，说的话很少，怕他在综艺节目里放不开。“他不怎么说话，万一在节目里不说话或者接不上话挺尴尬的。”但是后来录完了第一期 导演组对节目效果很满意 对也很满意。虽然中间有段时间不在 节目组也都在努力协调。
“他不是我见过长得最帅的男明星，我见了这么多明星已经看多了。黄景瑜，跟他相处起来就是感觉这个小孩儿很单纯，性格很好，性格还是比长相重要吧，反正我们都挺喜欢他的。我只说实话昂 我没有特意夸他。”这是一个男导演亲口说的，鲸鱼，你不知道，我听到他说他们都很喜欢你的时候我有多开心，因为饭很多，有时候影响了拍摄也都很不好意思，也怕给导演留下对不好的印象，但他还是用他的努力让更多人看到了他的好，我们真的好骄傲。
有一次连着录了三天的约吧，我每天都是十点多到宿舍，收拾完躺下都凌晨了，第二天六点多爬起来继续，一天都吃不上一顿正经饭。连着这么几天，等他走了我感觉我真的好累。但是，他比我更累啊。导演说，他们每天拍完外景，还有万事屋的景，晚上还要去摄影棚拍照，可能还要去录音棚，还要开会总结，都是凌晨几点睡。内段时间早上七点多就在线，见到他的时候他很疲惫但还是跟我们打招呼开心的笑，从来没有黑脸。这一次拍摄的第一天就是在我们学校，我问了当时在里面的学长怎么样 吃饭了没有 他说在里面可开心了 导演也说状态比之前好很多。
没想到这么快@约吧大明星 第一季就结束了，幸好还有第二季，我们还可以期待鲸鱼的成长，那时候他会变得更好，我一直这么相信着。作为粉丝，感谢这么长时间工作人员对的照顾 感谢在这期间帮过他的所有人 感谢所有人对粉的包容体谅还时不时给我们送福利。辛苦了 工作人员辛苦了。
从今天灯一亮，很多人都开始意识到第一季就这么结束了 很不舍。但是看见他还在拆主持人台，讲段子活跃气氛，他是真的喜欢这个节目吧。
我们不说再见，因为第二季更值得期待，希望还能看到你笑的这么开心

 

 

I have a soft spot for JY because he is completely without artifice and guiless. Showbiz is a tough busines and as new artiste, he needs to win over not just the fans, but the casting agents, directors, production team.. etc. So I'm glad to come across this post and just want to share what I have read in case any one is interested.

I couldn't follow ZZ's concert in real time today, so thanks to all of you who live blogged and updated and informed and translated everything. You are brilliant!

I'm overjoyed the concert went so well! This one seemed more professional, somehow. Everybody's learning, I suppose. It looked so great and it looks like ZZ really enjoys performing. He seems to get such a kick out of it. I love that he never takes it for granted, there's not an arrogant bone in that boy's body. 

I'm so pleased he sang Walk Slowly and the Sea song (wish there was an official English name for this one...)! It's his songs, so it's really quite ridiculous he didn't sing them in Beijing. I hope he'll sing them in his other Chinese concerts, now that he's felt just how much people responds to them. Maybe it's like taking off the lid on the whole thing, to just sing and not be afraid. He definitely was crying there at the end - or rather, if he didn't control himself, bite his lip, look away, bow his head, he'd be bawling his eyes out. But unlike JY, ZZ doesn't seem to like to cry in public. But he cried, and I think it's because there's so much pent up emotion, within him AND the fans. So much uncertainty and suddenly relaxing and being free, for a moment. And wishing fervently JY was there to share the love, of course. Those two songs represent so much about all that's happened the past few months, filming Addicted, meeting JY, getting famous, getting banned, getting even more famous, getting even more banned, becoming internationally famous (see, the ban paradoxically led him to stand there on that stage today, it's weird). And hopefully, finding love. So it's no wonder he cried.

It's really quite amazing with all these fans, singing along to everything (particularly the Korean-only speaking fans). It's been such a short time, and still his fans love him like they've followed him forever. Right now, it feels like ZZ really has established himself as someone to be a fan of, regardless of Addicted. He's shown he's got loads and loads of talent for all kinds of things, enough to be lovely and entertaining in his own right. Hopefully it means he'll keep being popular even if this never-talk-about-Addicted-or JY era lasts a long time. Btw, did the audience really chant Huang Jingyu everytime they had a chance? Or was it just something similiar?

Speaking of Addicted, it's being broadcast on Thai TV from July 1, right? Is that a proper, network channel broadcasting? It's not streaming? If so, it'll be the first time Addicted is shown on TV! I think that's pretty big. And I wonder if CJD (or whoever owns the rights) sold it to other countries too. Obviously, it's not over yet, with Addicted. And I wonder if this will lead to a bigger audience for the boys in Thailand. I'm thoroughly confused about the reports on whether Addicted will be released on DVD, though. Very conflicting reports around.

Anyone can help me elaborate the last part when the interviewer asked JY and ZZ if they want to have sort of like a 5 year pact with each other like Ho Ge and Wallace Huo. First I thought JY's interested in this idea, he even actively asked ZZ "Do you want to do that" I was sort of happy at that moment. And ZZ just looked all smiley and excited like he really wanted that but somehow pretended not to (he knows how to not wear his heart on his sleeves i guess haha good job ZZ! you have to play hard to get! That's how it's done ) hehe so then he also gave the same response to JY by asking the same question but then JY sort of disappointed me and probably ZZ too by saying "Do that for what?" i can clearly see that ZZ was disappointed but somehow managed to laugh but it was such an awkward laugh right?! Haha just my speculation, has anyone discussed about that before, or anyone have any explaination other than mine?

Thank you so much to everyone who shared live fancams, videos, pictures, fanfic, etc. 

I am so proud of ZZ! He did a amazing job and sounded so great. He was born to perform and has so much fun with it. He just gets better and better! And so handsome as always. He is truly becoming the great star we all believed him to be. Even without Addicted, he is establishing himself as a singer and talented performer! But we also know how much Addicted means to him and I was teary like many listening to When Hai has Yin and Walk Slowly. I'm so happy he was able to perform them as he should have been able to in BJ. I sometimes get discouraged by everything that's happened and this stupid ban. But seeing ZZ whose faced many setbacks and negativity continue smiling and pushing forward to achieve his dream makes me confident he will continue to do so, and I want to continue supporting him and being his fan. JY too! I want both of them to continue growing in the entertainment industry and for more people to know how amazing they both are.   

Fans have also been so great. Fans in Thailand and Korea have given ZZ such wonderful welcomes and have shown him so much love. So much thanks and hugs to them for being amazingly supportive fans

Haha it is indeed so strange that there's no official English name! Personally, I've always referred it to Heroin. Because Hai Ruo You Yin sounds too much like the drug, which makes for an apt reference. 

It's really hopeful and heartwarming that he chose to sing 2 songs that marks such an important time, be it for himself or for us. 

Regarding the DVD, I'm looking out for news too!

I kind of watch their early interview, before the banned.

Now i miss them so much.

I never regret that I know yuzhou through Addicted. Although sometimes I am wondering why I choose yuzhou as my OTP and not other CP who is 'real'.

If only it can continue s2, it will be so perfect.

So many IF in this fandom and too many hurtful reality slap me.

I never in a fandom which is so powerful and optimistic like this fandom.

We are going stronger everyday for yuzhou.

I believe in several years yuzhou will be on top chinese entertainment world.

Don't know if I will be there at that moment.

But now, i will always support them.
