@jlt4ever I sobbed yesterday when I heard the gossip that the die hard fans that come trying to find ZZ at his home is increasing. I mean, we do want to get update from them, but why not within the time frame that they allow us. Without crossing the boundary of their privacy?

I think instead of getting the boys more relax about their relationship (whatever their r/s might be, be it friends/lover, whatever) we will get the backlash of these super nosy fans that knows no boundary of privacy. I think both of them will be more closed in the future. Like you said JY now can say what ZZ had said long time ago, (ZZ said that he wished people would stop coming to his place, it is not right) and JY said he wish that people will leave them sufficient privacy. And usually JY is very sweet towards his fans, sometimes too sweet (like can not say no when a fan asked for a hug, compare to ZZ who just give the fan a strange look, directing the fan to get the cake and say bye. ZZ had been much more firm in handling the boundary though he loves his fans so much, as @ximichem mentioned about the fansign that turned into mini concert tho' the explanation is confusing af for me. But, I think if the fans push so much to the limit of their privacy, they will just play hide and seek again with fans. Which I don't want that to happen. No No No. Dear fans, I know you love them, me too, I love HJY, and ZZ yes, but please understand the limit of being a fans and being a stalker. Stop! Just stop!

Based on what you posted, ZZ and his friend were at a restaurant in Sanlitun - a very hip and happening area in Beijing...where there are bars, trendy cafes, restaurants, etc, and yes, the restaurant does look like the one which both ZZ and JY took their photos for the Esquire Magazine photoshoot in March.....the poster did mention that she took three to four hours to locate this restaurant which JY and ZZ had taken their photoshoot before.

 

 

Just to add on they mentioned that it is the day after his concert. The gals basically shared that they told ZZ that they will not disclose his and Ryan's whereabouts, respecting their privacy. They got the sense that when they were secretly taking photos outside the restaurant, ZZ was looking at them with pleading eyes. ZZ replied that his stomach has not been good. They kept to their words (somewhat) and only posted this two days later. As with many female fans, they kept saying how good-looking he is.

By the way, @jlt4ever. Happy Dragonboat Festival! If what you say about them staying in the same hotel is true, do you think it will affect them? While I am happy to know this, I am afraid that it will be hard to sustain a relationship with so many prying eyes...

By the way, a photographer who has so many weibo posts on ZZ, including some with ZZ and him together posted a photo of him and JY today... JY fans are asking him to send a message to JY to update his weibo. Lol! Another sign that many people in the industry are supporting them...

Thank you for your help i found it the eye its now hidden. Thats true i have unlimited internet on my phone so i have no problems with it.

I love that backreading have so mutch funn with it some time im laughing out loud here lol.

I hope that the original book is gonna be translated in english have read a lot of the translated parts here in the forum and i like the story.

The serie i love it to its totaly diverend than the acting here its more with emotions and body and face languages what i personal realy like because i have bad ears hear verry bad and i miss that in acting whats in europe and usa.

It's the dire life of a shipper of a secret relationship: you may never know the truth. You have to be very, very patient and stay loyal for a long time before you know anything for sure. And always make sure you stay within the lines of what's OK when following a celebrity's life. (I hope, for instance, there aren't people who actually stalk their homes. But I suppose some people do. And that's just... ugh.)

Anyway, I hope they stayed at the same hotel! I hope they stay together many nights, wherever it might be, if they're together. Because that's the way it should be, in that case.

@gashupingo - that phonescreen COULD definitely be that photo. But it could also be something else... Or so I think. I wish it was just a little clearer. That other photo we all gathered was a photo of ZZ on his phone, was a lot more clear. (Also, you'd think JY would have a private photo of ZZ on his screen... He must have loads of pretty photos on his phone. Why would he use a fan's photo? Or is he just that fond of that particular moment, that particular look? I'm such a sceptical, overly rational shipper. Sorry about that.)

Don't forget that JY also ran away from a fan at the Shanghai FM, leaving ZZ to have to accept the hug before he shooed her off stage. Heh. I think they're actually both a bit reluctant hugging fans and doing fan-service in general. If JY will continue doing these - kind of pointless - variety shows, he'll get more and more used to it, I suppose. They both will, I guess. Their fame is still so new to them, there's still so much to get used to. And I do agree that there's a risk of them retreating further, if they get too much attention. I wish all fans knew to respect their boundaries. They're just people, after all. 

Is the show ZZ rehearsed for today on TV? I mean, not just streaming on the internet? If so, that's a major change, isn't it? Since it's seemed for so long that all TV-shows were banned for both JY & ZZ (see Happy Camp & RTF2). So that's good news in itself! I hope he does well, it would do him so much good.

Hi Dani, I can really feel for you there. Actually, I feel a little regretted now about sharing this rumor. I should've ignored the rumors that came from these private-life fans instead of spreading them, right??? Spreading the word somehow feels like encouraging them to do so??? Hello there! Happy Dragonboat Festival!

Re the hotel thing, as long as there is no photos or other evidence there, I don't think this would substantially affect YuZhou. So far this is just rumors within fandom. No mainstream media is paying attention to this.

My concern is that even if the fans can well contain themselves someday, YuZhou may still be someday under the radar of the paparazzi in Beijing. They say the number of paparazzi in Beijing is very considerable because many celebrities live in Beijing. The fans, even if they sometimes intrude YuZhou's private lives, I don't think they will do anything to hurt YuZhou (at least they may think twice before releasing the photos, etc.). But I'm not sure about the paparazzi...So this is actually my biggest concern...Will pray for the best for YuZhou anyway.

Okay okay. I think this is a curse already making people got addicted to their show. hAhahahahahahajust kidding.

rewatching it for the third time now. I just miss them so much, seeing them together.  I wonder when will that time come.

anyways, i am so happy that they are slowly reaching the stardom as individual artists. I want them to be so successful and have a long lasting career. I want them to be super rich. (So when the time comes they wanna come out as a couple, they can still live a life they want to, have the things they want to even without the limelight and celebrity life, if ever China cant support them) Hahaha.

i really wish Taiwan, Thailand or any international production firm would pick up Addicted and make a movie out of it, or continue the series. Because if you read the novel (though i havent read all but i know the premise till the end), youll know there are a lot of things the series can offer. And i guess, the best scenes can be found halfway of the season one. Not to mention season 2 which is really brilliant.  

can we reminisce? What are your favorite parts of the novel/series?

I specially like the rooftop scene, the scene where ZZ indirectly answers Johnny's question about ZZ's feelings towards him, when the ZZ's plane crashed and Johnny to the rescue, when Johnny saw the CCTV footage on what happened 8 years ago during the accident and many more. Hahaha.
