You're not the only one who think that. LOL. His makeup, contact lens didn't match his rocker style.. But since he's singing ballad, pop etc so I guess that's why? It reminds me of the photo he took with Johnny... I actually don't prefer him wearing that kind of lens... Like I said earlier, he's already a beauty without extravagant makeup and lens etc.

It's interesting what you notice only after re-watching something 4...5...6 times!!

At around 0:40, when JY flips ZZ over the first time, they mock running their hands over each other's sides. Their faces! Their grins! The way they're looking at each other!  Just...precious! (I was only watching their hands the first few times I watched this.)

And then at 1:15, when JY collapses on top of ZZ, they get those same silly grins on their faces again.

That's comfort and familiarity.

The fact that whenever you come to the Addicted thread you feel the need to stress your love of CA and compare it to Addicted, is very telling to me. If any member of the Addicted family has gone to the CA thread and tried to say such things as you say here then I am sorry and that person should be ashamed of themselves. If you feel the need to personally try to change someone's mind, could you possibly do it by PM instead? Let's have CA and Addicted, both creations of CJD, live peacefully together. Please.

First of all let me congratulate you all on this fantastic fanpage and reaching 1000+ today!

Second: If anyone had told me 3 weeks ago that i would write a comment on a fanpage like this i would have laughed my a** off. And yet, here I am.

It is only 3 weeks ago that I was reading a small article on a news site about (web)censorship in different countries around the world. In this article they mentioned the banning of a webserries by the Chinese censor called; Are You Addicted? Curious as I am I went to youtube and found this amazing serie. As from episode one I was addicted too. I watched all 15 in one take. And by the end of eps 15 I was confused, deeply touched, and in need of more! So I franticly searched the net if there was any leaked episode 16,17,18. No nieed to say it was in vain. But what I did find was you guys here! With all the extra BTS. And ofcourse this wonderfull translation of the novel! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for this! It is done in such a good way and gives so much insight in the minds of BYL and GH.  I applaud the translators for this outstanding work in progress!!

I think for me, the main reason why this series has touched me so deep is part due to the story and part to ZZ and JY.  I have watched a lot of BL movies but never found such chemistry between the main actors. Never seen this real emotion. And i was very happy to see that aswell the story as the actors never fell into the clichés of being in a samesex relationship. A big salute for that too!

I am probably one of the oldest members of this page and have been considering myself being straight for many years. Untill one day I met a guy who turned my world upside down like GH did BYL's and vice versa. And although I have been supporting  the gay rights movement in Holland since i was in high school, never had I been thinking I would end up in a samesex relation. It simply did not cross my mind as I had always been in satisfying relations with women. And yet this one day I met my guy, and all started to shift. I can relate very deeply to the strugles going in the minds of BYL and GH. And just as BYL I tried to push away my guy many times, but luckely he did not give up on me. And after accepting the situation myself the struggle with the world around me began. People were saying I had been lying to the women in my life and telling me I was just a stubbern closset case. Some gay friends even told me that I was playing gay now and that I needed to stop that if I was not serious enough about it. (!?)  Others were ignoring me all the way, as homophobia is also still around here too. 

That is why I like this story so much as BYL and GH go through all this too. It is a refelction of many things I have been going through myself. Some things GH tells BYL are even the same as my guy told me. Like when GH is in bed with BYL and BYL says he can only go 'this' far with GH. And GH answers: "If I was only looking for 'that', why do I not go to any girl? It is because I like YOU so very much".

Why share this all with you? Just because i feel like it! And to support any of you who might go through this phase at this moment. To them I say: hold on to love! It is worth it! 

This is my first, and maybe even my last post on this fanpage. I whish all of you lots of love and hope you will keep up the support of eachother and ofcourse  of ZZ and JY

And although chances are zero that ZZ or JY will read any of this, I wish them all the best with their personal career, friendship and all that is good for them.

Exactly! How can people say those things? We don't always need to compare things. CA and Addicted are two different series with different stories and actors, even if you preferred one over the other there is no need to say negative stuff. Like someone said that QingYu are ugly, i'm like "***** where?" Even if you did not like the CA series, how can you say that Wang Qing and Jia Yu are ugly???? People these days smh

They always have to criticise things.

@kdiana I'm sorry that you feel frustrated over immature comments from some people in this thread. I can only say people differs a lot, even if they are a family, they still have different characteristics and way of thinking. Saying negative comments to make an individual's favorite shined more is a very shameful act, I agree.

However, I still need to tell you something that I bet you have read this over and over again but please, avoid quoting long post, especially the ones with pictures like you did. I appreciate your feelings and thought, but  it's inevitable there might some who couldn't get into CA but there are quite a number of us here like CA too. 

Ironic to see you complain that people always have to criticize things when you just did the same, right darling?  It's unfortunate that we can't all agree on the same thing, so I think it's the best to learn to ignore harsh opinions, especially those that are against what you like.

Hi, @dutchaddict, welcome to the family!

I can relate with your story. I was unfamiliar with Chinese entertainment and while I do read manga (and its specific genre like yaoi and bara) I had never been interested in watching a BL series. That was until I watched Addicted. I had also never been a fan of certain idol, Yet, here I am.

What drew me to Addicted is its story. It resonates to my high school experience, when for the first time I realised that I fell in love with another boy, my best friend at that time. While our story was not ending in happily ever after, I could still remember some sweet moments with him and somehow, Addicted brought that memory back to me.

So, please enjoy your stay and post more!

The live stream used a different soundmix with the direct input from the mic. Not the one especially created for the hall for optimal results. So the sound in the hall and on fancams  is much better. 

ZZ is simply adorable.

He has one great quality to himself which hopefully he never loses. He is very natural and honest, humble and  never fake!

He needs a vocal coach tho, who works with him on every song and he needs to sing more. You learn to sing only by singing.

I like his voice. But he needs a better technique also for more emotional depth.

Everybody seems happy today. Great!

Just want to share some random stuff on ZZ's concert which I felt was too short ....I guess I'm just being greedy since I like ZZ so much and want to see more of him. And just like everybody pointed out, I feel that ZZ was in his element when he was dancing and playing the guitar....I couldn't take my eyes off him during the dance segment =)

I was really happy to see ZZ behind a keyboard...yay!
Anyway, I think ZZ might have been slightly nervous during the concert or he just happened to forget some of the lyrics.

Actual lyrics: 可惜了一身溫暖，沒有人因我而暖 (kě xī le yī shēn wēn nuǎn  méi yǒu rén yīn wǒ ér nuǎn)
What ZZ sang partially: 沒什麼能夠取代 (méi shén me néng gòu qǔ dài)
I think ZZ realised that he accidentally sang the wrong line so he smiled, got up and pointed the mic at the audience to get them to sing along. He then resumed singing; this time with the correct lyrics.

Delulu No.1: 
When ZZ sang this line:
渺小卻守護我的愛 (miǎo xiǎo què shǒu hù wǒ de ài) 
Somehow to me, it sounded as though ZZ sang it as miǎo xiǎo què shǒu hù wǒ de hǎi

Actual lyrics: 变的不一样 学着坚强 (biàn de bù yī yàng  xué zhe jiān qiáng)
What ZZ sang: 变得不一样 不同寻常 (biàn de bù yī yàng  bù tóng xún cháng)

Actually, I kinda like the session with Ryan Zhu...I wouldn't have minded if the MC (Leon / 李川) were to prolong the session by asking a few more questions. I feel that Ryan's segment is an opportunity for him to dish out more secrets about ZZ and also because I find his segment quite entertaining as he has a good sense of humour and the interaction between him and ZZ is quite nice to watch too.

Some of the stuff that were said:
Ryan: I hope Zhou Zhou will become more and more good-looking....as there are so many people who like him, I'm very happy on his behalf. I also hope that Zhou Zhou will become better and better.
ZZ to Ryan: I hope you will become more and more handsome, more and more cute and will get taller.
Ryan: I'm feeling a lot of pressure standing beside both of you. Let me change my position.

Then Leon said this: 
朱朱祝福魏魏....魏魏祝福朱朱 (Zhu Zhu wishes Zhou Zhou well and Zhou Zhou wishes Zhu Zhu well) and said it's like a 绕口令(rào kǒu lìng - tongue twister)....I totally agree with him =)

After that, Ryan described an incident in high school. There was one time after they had their meal, they then adjourned to the field to rest. ZZ spotted a football and immediately kicked at it but unfortunately, his right leg somehow smashed onto a wall. 

Although ZZ was grimacing in pain, he dismissed it at that point of time and told Ryan that he just needed to rest. But then the pain became unbearable and it turned out that he broke three toes on his right leg. I felt so sorry for poor ZZ when I heard that. When asked if his toes still hurt, ZZ said that now, it sometimes hurts on rainy days.

Delulu No.2:
Of all colours, why did Ryan choose to wear a bright yellow jacket? Yellow in Chinese is 黄 (huáng)...that's kinda like an indirect nod to JY, isn't it? =)

ZZ: What is the colour of the clothes? (pointing and looking at Ryan)
Audience: 黄 (huáng - yellow)! (The audience was being understandably extra loud when answering ZZ's question =D
ZZ then said a few stuff and mentioned 小黄瓜 (xiǎo huáng guā - cucumber) which made Ryan said, "Eh?"

Leon (the MC) said with a smile that he don't really understand what is ZZ trying to convey as he can't see the connection between Ryan's clothes' colour and cucumber. ZZ then told Leon that Ryan is a 小黄...瓜 (xiǎo huáng...guā).

My gut feeling tells me that Ryan himself don't exactly know what is ZZ attempting to convey which was why he said:
Ryan: This can be explained...let me think awhile on how to explain it......
Leon: Can it be explained? 3, 2, 1....
Ryan: (stammering slightly) It's because I like to eat cucumber....Did I explain myself well?

The slight look of disbelief on Leon's face says it all and I think that he don't really buy Ryan's explanation. Also, judging from Ryan's reaction, it doesn't really seems as though cucumber is something that he likes to eat. Otherwise, why would he pause and need to think for awhile before coming up with an explanation. If you like something, you would have said it out spontaneously instead of taking time to ponder over it, right?

Delulu No.3:
First, the word yellow (huáng) and now, cucumber. Erm...isn't cucumber a nickname for Gu Hai's ahem? (again, to me, it's sort of an indirect reference to JY =)

After that, ZZ excused himself to change his outfit.
Leon: What was your first impression of Zhou Zhou in high school?
Ryan: He was dark, skinny, tall and loves to play basketball very much. He was very good in playing basketball.
Then Ryan said some stuff about how they were in different groups...he was in the dance team while ZZ was in the music group. Despite being in different clubs, they still managed to become good friends, they had fun together and collaborated in music even from back then til now.

I quite enjoy listening to Ryan talk....he's such a natural and one can tell he's a very good friend to ZZ....overall, I'd say that ZZ did very well in his debut concert. I hope he will be just as entertaining in all his upcoming concerts. Well done, ZZ!

Sorry about quoting a really long post, i'm new here so i did not know. It's true, it's better to ignore harsh opinion and I usually respect all opinions even those that not coincide with mine, however the moment that your opinion is only meant to offend and as you said "make your r favourite shine more" and is based on petty things such as your personal view on the beauty of an actor, in this cases i think that an opinion does not deserve respect and is right to criticise once in a while. 

Especially as a lover of both series. I think the same of the people that insult ZZ just because they are fan of Johnny or viceversa.

IKR! He is such a tease. If he just wanted to encourage fans to sing with him, there was good moment at 01:26. Yet he did not do that, instead sang first then encouraged the fans right before "Jingyu".

Yes, I also heard ZZ sang "hai" instead of "ai" in Dust. IIRC, that particular line is repeated thrice in one song. Usually, ZZ sang the first and second as "ai", then the third with heavy accent into "hai". Fans once asked him, whether the third one is "hai" and his answer was: "You guess". Even during Chinese Billboard Award, he sang "ai", "ai", "hai". But tonight, he sang the lines "hai", "hai", "hai"!

On Yellow Cucumber, LOL. He is such a tease!
