The basic theory:

There are several reasons why someone licks his/her lips. Let us start from the most casual one:

00:20-00:21 JY licked his lips while looking downward. I think, he was bit of nervous. Excited but nervous because this is on public.

00:22-00:25 JY then turned his head up again, but still not looking at ZZ. He started smiling again. Finally, passion won. JY could not help himself from looking at ZZ.

00:26-00:27 JY's gaze met ZZ's again. JY's smile bloomed fully. JY: What the heck with the audience!

00:13-00:27 ZZ stood there, looking at JY and smiling all the time. ZZ, you are a tease! ZZ was not evaluating JY. He was sure that JY would come to him. ZZ had JY twined on his fingers.

00:23-00:25 The Korean singer beside ZZ shifted his body away from ZZ. He then focused his attention to the front. He knew.

00:28-00:30 ZZ shifted his head and bit of his upper body forward, welcoming JY. ZZ: Hi, finally you are here. What took you so long?

00:28-00:30 JY moved his body, blocking us from seeing his face. And also, blocking us from seeing ZZ fully. JY was being protective of their privacy.

00:31-00:32 ZZ shifted his body to the (his) right, giving JY space to stand. ZZ: stand here beside me.

00:34 JY and ZZ stood side by side, looking forward as if nothing had happened.

1. When I see the scene at first time, it was the other version on @estreline IG. The angle was from front and clearly shows how the Korean singer shifted his body away from ZZ.

2. I was thinking that both of them were being shy because both of them turned their head away, breaking the gaze. ZZ first, then JY. But closer inspection, I'd say, JY was more embarrassed by this flirting, while ZZ was very confident.

3. Whoever did the editing knew body language well. He/she slowed it down so we could see the second-by-second transformation, he/she add fitting BGM (Winter we fall in love? Hell yeah! Winter 2015! etc) Kudos to you, whoever you are!

First of all, the TEAspoon is weird in my opinion no matter how you put it. I live in Europe and have been to Italy and have also been eating pasta all the time. I wouldn't consider myself an expert but I've never EVER had a teaspoon on my dish plates to extract some pulp (what?) from lemon slices. To be honest, I've never even had lemon slices on my plate of pasta but since I think it could also be a decoration, I didn't mention anything about it in my post (I do get lemon slices when I eat fish or steak but never pasta) Lemon in the dish is to my knowledge squeezed on top of the dish to let the juice comes out. Never have I needed to pull out the pulp from lemon slices and why would you even eat it? Have you eaten lemon slices before? Try eating it. It's not refreshing. It's SOUR.

Second of all, if your psychological explanation is correct then he should set the clock earlier than 15 o'clock not later. This has the opposite effect and makes him being late instead. By the way, look at this scene.

Did GH set his wallclock earlier to not be late? No, he didn't need to.

Hence, it's considered a BLOOPER in the scene that I posted.

Happy 400 guys. It's 2AM here and so I am so glad I am awake.

This forum has been my daily go to even before the last episode of the web series aired, giving my constant affirmation that "It Is REAL!!" haha. Funny that JY actually fan's the flames, and blows our sails himself, all we need to do is wait. I lean more towards ZZ, calm, composed but when he slips up, darn it makes for the cutest expressions aha. 

Though I probably will contribute less than most people here, I hope I could be of service in the near future.

This scene has been analyzed extensively on the YuZhou thread on baidu.  To summarize, it's basically how the cat 'hook' the fish.  There is a theory floating around that ZZ is actually the one who 'seduced' JY based on analysis from the BTS (the raising eyebrow scenes, the sultry stares, rubbing of the lips).  Many people notice JY's rapid breathing, swallowing, and dazed stares.  JY's an open book so it is easy to read him.  ZZ, no matter how bubbly he is, at the core, is still very reserve in displaying affections and showing skinship in public, he and BLY share this characteristic.  To get down to it, it is ZZ, who communicated to JY first that he's interested, and that is when JY started to return his interest.  

From this video (watch the slow motion version), ZZ actually initiated the incident by staring at JY.  JY felt his gaze, look up and and returns it.  ZZ tried to look away for a second but he finds himself drawn back to JY's gaze.  He subconsciously lick his lip....JY swallowed TWICE as he moved toward ZZ with a shy smile......

This is one of the rare glimpse into ZZ's psyche.  It let us see, for a moment, the truth in his affection toward JY.  He is probably as affected by JY as JY is with him, but just does not show it often.  Actually, I take that back, he does show it in his songs, I have a hunch that 10 years and Moonlight were sung for JY and him (ZZ's the sun, JY's the moon......interesting note.....the glass Jy got was 'mooncut').

And yes, Ten Years was not accidentally or randomly chosen! It was a message plus the outlet of ZZ's despair at that time, seeing he and JY would have no reason to meet again and continue their relationship. If this is correct then I believe that they already established some kind of romantic relationship before fan meeting, or at least acknowledging the presence of romantic feelings on each other.

From the start:

In 00:03 to 00:04, Zhou looked at JingYu, then he stared to lick his lip. This was his bait , you can see he raised his chin and nearly crossed his arms - a "can you handle me, baby?" or "can you reject this?" he had knew from the first the moment Jingyu looked at him, that JingYu wanna be getting close to him, so he did lick his lips - this was an asking, a calling combined with "Do You Dare"? PURE FLIRTING or seduction.

How Johnny reacted to Zhou whose act liked inviting for a kiss?

Why can you forget to check, JingYu from 00:05 to 00:07? Do you see he stopped smiling and took a deep breath like suddenly there were no air, and gulped some air? Look at his chest, and his adam's apple. I bet Johnny heart skipped a beat while Zhouzhou smiles and licked his lips (any alive human could fight back for such a guilty lust??? I love this moment a lot, JingYu had fighted - he did, while took his eyes off Zhou for 0,1 second, then he surrendered. the chemistry was too strong

And the smile in 00:17 was for audience - meant "Sorry, I can't help it" - an embarassing smile, and he shook his head from 00:21 to 00:23 for himself as he was defeated and incurable attracted by Zhou..

Surely, this video from Happy Camp is the best thing ever. I had to gif the whole thing! It's just so perfect. Love your second by second analysis, @gayyoxx and @elppa ! I have this to add (from watching it far too closely while making gifs...):

At 0.04, JY eyes widen a bit and his mouth falls open - just as ZZ is licking his lips. It's like he's stunned with excitement! (Clearly seen in my first gif pair.)

At 0.21 As he walks over to ZZ, JY shakes his head a little, like with happy incredulity. He can't believe this is happening! (Seen in my fifth gif pair.)

And the way ZZ handles his microphone and JY starts laughing (at like 0.05 -0.10 - second gif pair) makes me think this is some private joke between them. (The mike is giving me dirty thoughts...)

Btw, I think YuZhou have a secret and mysterious language just they know. Zz licking his lip and both of them smile brightly, so I think his action implies something which reminisced them their memories. At first I think that they smile because the MC said something funny, but watching the zoom-in video with slow motion effect, I realized that other people looked straight (they must have paid attention to the MC) and didnt smile at all . Yu's back was against the MC, meaning that he didnt pay attention to the MC, he just wanted to face with Zz. and THEY SMILE MYSTERIOUSLY OUT OF NOWHERE WITHOUT REASONS. Our boys was in their own loving world in front of all audiences. They must have known their fans paid attention to every smallest movement of them But I LIKE that hahaa.

Azzz, I really want to know that whether this short clip happened before or after the scene they sat on the chair and Yu looked at Zz with a strange glare.

@gayyoxx Swallow sometime means unsatified desire, or uncontrollable urge, the most instinct need to be fulfilled right now. I know this because I myself have swallowed a lot, each time i see Zhouzhou ' pics or vids- which I can't stop. I really feel sorry for JingYu if all he could do is looking at Zhou (and his lips). vve're all dead for a bite of Zhou now.

I love the very first moment of a romantic relationship, while a glance or holding hands of your crush means the whole world to you, lifts you up to heaven, and his frown throws you in hell, and nothing in this world as brilliant as your crush smile. I find it spectacularly sweet, and precious, since it only lasts for a moment and very hard to intentional searching or make up. (I'm very scared that in next year, there are not many naive sweet moments like this, since our boys get grown up and trained/wiser) And the inner-fight for the crush in their own minds and hearts, hold on all your strength to be cool or avoid your crush then thirstily and hungrily looking for him, or behave dummy and cutie in front of the crowd.. all of this jusst shows up in the first stage, very rare and quite difficult to point out. But These moments make me squeal as well as melt my heart.. Oh, god! I do love these feelings as  simply beautiful, and undeniable things. I do hunting hints and am dying for the sake (and mistakes as well ^^) of this scheming and playful couple to fulfill my need. @thoron that's why I care about JingYu and Zhou' looks so much.. 

One more thing, vvhat happened in that vid proves that what comes from a heart would be felt by a heart, too. No need words at all to say I Need You. I WANT You. I Love You. I really think that both JY and Zhou has a crush on each others, despite their own awareness..  @gayyoxx can you imagine it and write a fanfic? For their very first moments. Please.. 

Like JingYu once said that he loves to be silently loved by someone else, very special feeling, a tingling or featherlight touch in your heart, this feeling will disappear right the speaking - out moment. He loves to feel it by heart than by words. Zhou hasn't chased for a girl before, Now, they're both chaser and teaser to the others, right? LOL, That's why I ship them so hard .

Thanks to all angels from heaven. They have listened to my prayers, and actually poured sugar, and micracle on Happy camp stage. I enjoy this cube of sugar so much, and waiting for tons coming :))

At 0.04, JY eyes widen a bit and his mouth falls open - just as ZZ is licking his lips. It's like he's stunned with excitement! (Clearly seen in my first gif pair.)

At 0.21 As he walks over to ZZ, JY shakes his head a little, like with happy incredulity. He can't believe this is happening! (Seen in my fifth gif pair.)

And the way ZZ handles his microphone and JY starts laughing (at like 0.05 -0.10) makes me think this is some private joke between them. (The mike is giving me dirty thoughts...)

Thank you @thoron for the mention in your brilliant 400-pages celebratory post! I've been here only for the past 100 or so, but it's been a blast.

And with the DVD coming one day (I want it now!) and the Happy Camp show coming up, I don't think 500 pages will take long either.

I could see it all clearly now. The lick, the can't breathe part, the laugh, the tiny head shakes..... AAAAAAH!!! They're so in LOVE!!

Who would be like this seeing a friend lick his lip? Huh?! They MUST be in LOVE for that!!!

Aaaw... they were in their own world. Oh goodness... I can't stop staring at the gif. Because I could see it all CLEARLY now!!! The lick, the can't breathe part, the laugh, the tiny... wait.. this is getting familiar..
