So, I've been thinking ("NO, Auntie's been thinking! Run!!!) Yeah, yeah, I hear ya.   You all have unleashed a monster, just so you know. I've never written anything remotely fanfic before. It just felt weird to put my imagination to real people or characters not of my own making, but, honestly, the last few stories I've written for here have been fun. Since everyone here knows that this is just my imagination and am using JY/ZZ just so I don't have to describe appearances (I'm rather bad at that) I've decided to just run with it for now. I have to work the next two nights, so I thought I'd drop a little scenario that's been playing in my head. I'm in a good mood and feeling a little playful today. ZZ is too...

"Why did you do that?"

Before WeiZhou had been able to close the door all of the way, JingYu had snapped the question at him. They had just finished yet another interview, and finally had some quiet time to relax. Yet here was JingYu, standing in the middle of the room, panting with anger.

"Why did I do what?" WeiZhou slowly walked towards the other man, confused at his behavior.

"Why did you keep touching me? All through the interview, you kept touching me."

WeiZhou grinned. Ah, so that was it. It wasn't anger that was causing JingYu's heavy breaths, he thought gleefully.

"It wasn't just me. You kept touching me too."

JingYu's eyes dropped to the floor. "That's because I was nervous. You know how I am. I get nervous and need to steady myself to continue."

"So you kept grabbing my leg under the table just to steady yourself?" As he said this, WeiZhou had taken another few steps only to stop mere inches in front of JingYu.

"Uhm, yeah, yeah."

WeiZhou reached up with one finger and tapped the end of JingYu's nose. "Don't lie to me."

JingYu's eyes narrowed as he glared into WeiZhou's for a long moment, before dropping back to stare at the ground. Or rather the lips so close to his own.

"Fine. Whatever. Still, you kept touching me for no reason."

WeiZhou grinned again, more of a smirk, actually, as he leaned himself into JingYu. "No reason?" he asked, right before his lips brushed across JingYu's. "When have I ever touched you in any way for 'no reason'?"

JingYu stood motionless with shock. "But in public? During an interview? During a filmed interview?"

WeiZhou placed his hands on the broad shoulders and pushed JingYu back until he sat on the edge of the bed. Climbing onto his lap, legs straddling him, WeiZhou ran a hand up to the nape of his neck.

"I couldn't stop thinking about last night," he said with a sly smile. "It just keeps replaying in my head, constantly." 

Slowly, the motion of WeiZhou's fingers on his neck caused JingYu to relax and lose the seriousness in his expression. He wrapped his arms around the hips of the man sitting on him. "Yeah, last night was...rather awesome, wasn't it?"

WeiZhou leaned down and pressed his lips into JingYu's before moving to nuzzle at the sensitive spot on his neck. JingYu failed to cover his moan as he tried to speak, "But..mm...still...aah...interview," causing WeiZhou to chuckle.

He lifted his head to stare in to JingYu's eyes, as his fingers continued to move along shoulders and neck. JingYu's hands pressed on his back, urging him forward.

"I couldn't help myself."

Just then JingYu pulled his head down and claimed the lips that had distracted his thoughts throughout the interview, muffling the rest of what WeiZhou was saying. 

"Venus in Scorpio, you know."

Sorry, the more delulu couple fans, I do not ship them that way. Yet the fans have been fighting continuously about everything and anything, when are they going to let it go? forever a contest between them two? when will it stop? Isn't there already enough drama caused by invisible powers that be? That's why I tend to avoid fandom drama and baseless rumors, it's really hard to engage when there are mud slinging and pot stirring all the time.

The truth is JY and ZZ are both caught in the perfect storm. Good looking guys with captivating personalities and mesmerizing chemistry together, propelled with the couple effect from just one low budgeted web drama. It has lifted them to unbelievable height and now it's also sinking them under unprecedented obstacles. It's premature to say but I still do not know how or how long their careers (they haven't even been given time to build proper, legitimate careers yet) can recover after all this tbh. There are many plausible reasons why the authorities, both from the gov. and the industry brought the hammer on them, but I believe the biggest is not even the "condoning homosexuality" angle (that's why the un-coupling effort from only-fan is miserably comical and useless imo) but the "easy stardom" angle.

JY has struggled in showbiz before, he's done various modeling jobs and game shows without success, Addicted's Gu Hai was the missing spark that any budding entertainer knows only comes once or twice in a lifetime, and contrary to his silly/aloof demeanor, he's NOT the happy-go-lucky type, I believe he knows this is his one chance to break in and he has been killing it with all the deals. Now his career is seemingly imploding and some of his fans, mostly acquired through Addicted or because of Addicted, have been blaming everything from the authorities to CJD and her company and ZZ and the Thai fanmeeting, ironically trying to erase Addicted/ZZ out of this world, effectively rendering him into this helpless, unprotected victim and martyr. (#onlycareaboutHJY is the most cringey hashtag I've ever encountered tbh)

I've seen fewer venomous attacks from ZZ and couple fans, but there are and it's no less ridiculous. In the series, ZZ's role is decidedly less prominent so it's understandable he'd get fewer fans from the series, and I share the frustration of ZZ fans when couple-fans go overboard with their uke/feminine/submissive perception/depiction of ZZ. But without fan infighting, ZZ is already the one who has endured much worse scandals, and while he might have many talents and determine what his career goals are, he definitely lacks the actual skill and resource to navigate the intricacies of showbiz right now. He's a person with broad appeal, he needs to win over the general audience and overbearing, possessive fans do not help.

And the most fervent couple-fans, like wow, not everything they do has to have anything to do with each other, simple as that. They're guys with over 20 years of many relationships, and for the most part you can only see them through some camera lens and hear them through secondhand words. Try to be a bit reasonable. You're fanning the fire in the wrong way.

Imagine a new face that is backed and promoted properly by the powers that be, with big budgeted campaigns and prestigious roles, yet cannot reach the same popularity of one previously (mostly) unknown model and one kid who's still attending acting school, with nothing more than a boy's love drama under their belts. Literally famous overnight without any monetary cost, ROI = infinite. And the offers kept pouring in, imagine if there was a season 2, if they could both mining the couple image for a while, if magazines and shows kept spamming their faces, and they graduated the webdrama rank into proper stars as quickly as they became popular out of nowhere... Yes, it may be the most conspiratorial theory of all, but somewhere up there someone(s) is absolutely very displeased about CJD/JY/ZZ, and add in (getting famous by promoting) homosexuality, teenage sex depiction, and sensitive army-related plot, no wonder the ban comes hard and comes twice.

 

Uh... what am I trying to say? Ah, yes, they are definitely inadvertent victims, of a bigger cultural purifying plan, of behind the scene intrigues, of politics... BUT NOT VICTIMS OF EACH OTHER. Don't blame the victim. Rationalize external reasons and forces all you want but they themselves did nothing wrong. They got popular together and now they're both suffering career-wise, there's no need to keep compare them, just as there's no need for fans to try to isolate them before (are you happy now?) and bring them together now (how?). I don't know if one day they will regret Addicted (or already have) if the winds don't change for the better, but for couple-fans, accept the fact they're (for now) ex-colleagues, effectively strangers; and for only-fans, why don't you just stop any crazy bitching "on behalf of/in protection of/for the good of/" either of them? They aren't gonna meet face to face blatantly, in public, they will go their separate ways, have their separate lives and work on separate projects (if any wow I'm bitter). The only thing keeps them in each other's life after all this is, quite frankly, only the two of them themselves. Least of all overzealous, vicious fans.

I'm in this awkward spot for not being quite a couple nor only-fan, I love them together but I actually don't care to speculate their sexuality, I'm far more interested in their personalities and friendship. I have my bias (~pls respect ZZ's gender, he's not anyone's wife~ guess who lol) yet I can't promise to keep investing my time and money and emotion like a dedicated stan, but I do want to follow both of their careers, to support them and wait patiently for a day when they can officially stand together on stage once more. And Addicted still has a special place in me after all. This is quite honestly the last haven for peace so please, I do beg you guys, don't bring fandom drama/rumors into this thread.

 

Sometimes it's a mistake surfing Soompi during work hours because after reading this kind of post, I could not concentrate on my work and my mood has turned sour... Worked for 11 hours and here I am writing about this because I cannot not write about this.

I'm getting tired of people bringing fanwars issue from China forum/other forums into this forum. As far as I know, majority of us here are CP fans (and some are with bias). All these extreme fans (which you probably found on Weibo/China forum or whatever) are evil okay? There's no JY's fans more evil than ZZ's fans or vice versa.... They're both equally terrible for trying to bring each other's idol down. Most of us love both boys even if some has more bias than the other... There's no only-fan here because this thread is not suitable for only-fan because of the extreme delulu posts occasionally that might turn only-fan off. If you want to rant about this fanwars, pls do so at China forum (where fans who are at fault can read your rant & maybe get enlightened from your post and repent or something? who knows?) or other forums or via PM. What's the point of ranting about it here when majority of us are delulu CP fans? We ship both boys, protect both boys, support both boys, not just one of them even if we have our own bias. 

The term "DELULU" is a fandom word for "being delusional". Shall I explain to you what "delusional" means?...... No? Ok. Moving on. So when we post CP stuffs to the point that you want to vomit blood and couldn't help rolling your eyes, remember we're being delusional especially when we wrote #delulu etc. Don't like it? Skip it. Easy. Why can't you just let us be happy even from such a vague rumour??? Is it so hard to skip? Just a scroll and you can't even do that?

So you don't like CP fans calling ZZ wifey or annoyed by manips of ZZ in women costume when even ZZ himself found it amusing when he saw the manips of him in that pink cotton flowery jacket.... Are you sure you're not one of those overzealous fans that you talked about?? I've seen manips of JY in skirt, ponytails, women costume, make up.... I just laughed it off and move on... This fandom is famous for its photo manips (never been in this kind of fandom with abundance of creativity before). I appreciate all kinds of manips. Some are witty, gorgeous, funny and beyond ridiculous, but in the end it's just a manip. Don't be so uptight if you want to be in this fandom. I'm probably still gonna call ZZ wifey or however term of endearments I want to use. If you don't like it, there's always a choice.

I'm blunt. I don't know how to be cryptic. And I'm very unhappy with your post.

if i may share a bit information regarding this matter: it's stated in many literature that Hep B is transmitted by contact with blood & infected bodily fluids. blood is where the most concentration of the virus, so mostly HBV spread through it. second is the semen & vaginal secretions, so HBV is transmitted through unprotected sex as well. as for saliva, infected person's saliva contains virus but in very low concentrations compared to blood. so the possibility to transmit through saliva is very low to none, but apparently there is possibility if cut or wound is present inside the mouth. hope it help

So, my doctor pretty worry after my email and called me this afternoon to ask me several questions and asked me to have myself checked. Hahaha the trouble this fandom give me over curiousity. But, she explained to me further, and basically she was saying exactly what you were saying. The possibility to be infected through saliva is low to none, except...when you have bleeding in your mouth, open wound, or similar. She explained to me quite detail and really asking me to make an appointment regarding this matter. And I promise her, I will. She said for now, since I am worried, it is best to get Hep vaccine, which will be 3 shots, and will cover me for 25 years. Sadly, I have to pay for it myself T_T

Oh my the backhugging or the spooning in bed was my favorite!  Because you could clearly see Johnny enjoyed it so much and it wasn't just acting for him,  his face after he embraced zhouzhou in his strong arms could be only described by pure bliss and contentment  that small satisfied smile on his his face?  Oh my  idk how their relationship advanced outside filming ofc but iam 100% sure he wouldn’t mind embracing zhouzhou like that all the time, sleeping peacefully while feeling complete and whole

and you have a reliable doctor who is very concern with her patient. her suggestion is very correct and i'd recommend for everyone to have vaccine if it's possible. may i know how much does it cost for each vaccine in your country, Dani? in my country it's not expensive, only 10$/vaccine.

Anyway the t-shirt size is as below ---- btw I'm 155cm / 5'1.5"  so even without looking at this chart I know I should take the smallest size! Indeed, the sizes are way too big for fangirls  *sighs* I feel like he was really catering it for fanboys... or is average height for girls in China about 170cm and above T_T

at some point last night when I was working overtime - I thought of quitting everything Addicted-related as it's getting pretty unhealthy how I am so attached to the boys in a sense, I feel the strong need to support and protect ALL of them but it's frustrating sometimes because I'm only a small dust , sometimes I wish I didn't see that comment on another forum suggesting us to watch the webseries, sometimes I wish I didn't know about this at all

thinking of deleting my Weibo account, unfollowing the boys / other accounts posting Addicted stuff on Insta, deleting my Wattpad account I created solely to read fanfics / translated chapters, logging out from here and some other forums / chat groups, putting away all the magazines and no longer trying to get my friends to be addicted to them **so I can help boosting ZZ's album sales and his ranking in charts, getting the boys more followers on Weibo/Insta, etc etc** 

I was doing well for like an hour then I was like lol who am I trying to kid

*logged back in to everything, saw all the goodies (new translated chapters) and I smiled to myself*

it's like an escape from reality in a way, which is nice  

I gained a lot of knowledge too, from body language, horoscope, medic-related (Hep B yo, I know nothing about Hep B, now I know!!), a bit more about China (my grandparents are from China who migrated to Malaysia so lol), some random facts here and there~ so it's not all for nothing!

*or am I really just finding excuses to justify my addiction, like actual addicts do? idk, idc*

This is like their 1st meeting together (with media and fans). And you can see JY is so nervous, and ZZ always look out for him. And then this happen, ZZ suddenly held out his hand and JY accept it, and they hold hand for a while. And ZZ was like touched his elbow softly like saying 'I'm here, It's okay, you can do it'. This is why I love about YuZhou, they always compliment each other so much. (This gif still ruining my life OTL)

 

This is one is when ZZ have to describe 3 words about JY. And he ruffled his hair so gently and said 'Look at me while I'm talking'. And JY look so vulnerable in a good way. That is so sweet AF okay. 

 

I always find how domestic they were (this gif especially). Like ZZ is so playful and JY is so serious listening to director talking, and JY need to feel him closer, and he need to pay attention too and how he took ZZ face with his hand is so lovely.

 

When I was watching this, I was like 'Am I interrupting something?' Like I watch something so private. I feel like this is them when they are alone, talking about something, so soft yet so perfect and so them.

 

How come you not ship them? When they are alone, they always in their own world and not care about others. I'm trying to find the reason not to ship them, but somehow I found something to ship them even more. Their chemistry on screen look so strong and their chemistry off screen make it more stronger. What is my life turn into? What I like about these two is that you can really sense their closeness - nothing is staged or there is no acting involved (unless they are very skilled actors hahaha). It's still painful to watch the series again knowing everything that has happened. BUT, at least, we have the show and we got to know four amazing guys that got us all crazy and delusional. I love it!
