Believe it or not i had no idea what Baizhou actually was until recently and i was referring to the *CRAZY* only fans..  Not that all only fans are crazy. Somehow you related yourself into that group through no fault of mine. That actually should say something since you came to a YZ thread to bash YZ fans. If you don't like it, you are free to leave as well. If you think you are justified in talking to other people this way just because you are a ZZ fan, then I THINK it's possible to be both a ZZ fan and a YZ shipper.

Cyber bullying is really no small thing as @abhishikta said and i feel like you are the one who is bringing this threat into the thread by selecting certain members participating in this thread to address. I can actually feel the anxiety that someone who is being bullied online might feel right now, considering i have no idea who you are or if you are some kind of hacker that can use personal information to threaten other ppl. Just by talking to you i have an idea of what the crazy only fans (and i mean just the crazy ones) might have done. I don't see you helping your cause, its just making a worse image worse for you. Any fandom will have fanatic, crazy fans that harm others, i judge via action, not categorization.

The theories i have regarding ZZ's sexuality/relationship status isn't based on whether he is effeminate or not. I actually don't find him very effeminate, since honestly a lot of asian guys act like that anyways (lol). Whatever he might wear on the other hand, is a choice he made to show a different side of himself, so the fact that he made that choice to show the public is what i find significant. I'm a pretty skeptical person myself, so my doubts about YZ are daily, but there are many actions or non actions that don't add up to just fan baiting.

The hints/bromance that occurs *now* for example, no longer balances out in terms of benefit and cost with what is going on with the ban and the conservative environment, "I THINK". I feel concern for them as well because of the cost that might come if things are too obvious. It's not blind YZ fangirling. And as a disclaimer, that is my personal opinion, although ppl PLEASE, do i in any form appear to be an official staff member that works in ZZ or YZ's teams? Why would you take what i say for gospel truth? Why is it even necessary to have to write "i think" everytime? If you are convinced because of my reasoning that is another thing altogether and not something that we are not allowed to do just because we are YZ shippers. If it's some kind of more incriminating pic or evidence then yeah i think maybe we need to put it under a cut etc, but our opinions... Well I don't know.

As for not being a true fan, honestly it is our choice to be a fan or not, even if someone is no longer their fan because their image no longer matches what they want, i don't think that's a crime. Even for only fans, if that is not what you are looking for then it's not shameful to stop being a fan. It's only shameful if you bash them as you leave. If you leave without saying or doing anything to hurt them, who cares honestly. I don't think there is a point in this fandom to talk about being true fans or what not, because the fandom is already too complicated. Keep things enjoyable, if you enjoy keep doing it, if you don't, stop, as ZZ usually advises.

out of ALL the CPs, why were YZ singled out?

Yes they garnered many views and fans in a matter of days, but what is it about them that got the government to intervene? There are so many other CPs who have gained momentum in the industry too?  I really want to dissect this but I don't know enough about the circumstances in which the ban was enforced upon.

But jokes apart, I truly thank you for appreciating me in this matter. I was not sure how other members would take it as I am often very opinionated and out spoken. But I couldn't just keep silent when something I believe, I stand up for was being wronged. I get agitated very quickly. There are a few things I dislike the most and false accusation and hypocrisy are two of them. I had to address the post as I found it quite offensive on a personal level. 

This community has been a secret garden for me. A modified version of Eutopia. Like everyone else here, I have issues in real life too and this place gives me the boost up I need yo trudge through daily life. People may not agree with each other here all the time, but we are tied with the thread of love. Our love for our boys, together and individually. That's what I respect the most about this forum. 

I often regret for not discovering Addicted early because every time I hear about that ZZ gf fiasco I feel like I should have been here with you guys, fretting together or just clowing around with my delulu to cheer people up. 

But I hope to be with you all through thick and thin from now on.

They have, as far as I know, never declared their sexuality directly. Occasionally in interviews they have been asked questions like "what's your ideal girl" or whatever, and have answered them - thus implying they are heterosexual/ bisexual.

Although it's actually a little hard to tell sometimes in Chinese since the words for "he" and "she" sound exactly the same - so in response to questions like "what is your ideal partner" you can't actually tell what gender they are talking about (unless they use words like "beautiful" etc. which are generally only associated with one gender)... I'm sure someone who has analysed their interviews more can tell you about any times when they have deliberately avoided gendered terms (I seem to only vaguely remember one or two).

I feel a need to point out that the Chinese government (and therefore SPAFTA or whatever the censorship office's name is...) has been known on several occasions to have (potentially very easy, depending on the service provider) access to the text messages, WeChat messages (or other social media), emails, etc. of people in China. They would also have plenty of contacts in the media production industries. Therefore, you could say they have access to far more "candies" then us YZ fans would ever be able to (or want to) get our hands on... 

Although admittedly the likelihood that they are actually spying directly on particular individual's accounts is pretty small - they're generally more concerned with looking for keywords relating to terrorism, porn, drugs, etc. so this is just a theory

Hi there,

Firstly, why do they have to declare their sexuality? It's their private matter and non of our business. They do not have to share that with us. With their own mouths? That will help their career heaps with SPAFT still monitoring them lol. I am CPF and it's a very thin line but we should support JY and ZZ as a singer/actor, not because they have declared their sexuality or not. I just hope once they grow stronger and more established in this industry, they won't be restricted by all these random bans and a big middle finger to whoever have been trying to bring them down.

About the ban, if you check out the first page of this thread, there's a huge red link to a post talking about the bans. We have discussed million times in this thread. Again, we are only fans so that is just our speculations. Entertainment industry is complicated so don't expect to find solid evidence for it. JY and ZZ have never and I doubt they will ever talk about the bans publicly.

Why were YZ singled out? Again on the first page of the thread, there are links to posts - why do we believe in YZ. There are 2 long translations for it.

Just some thoughts about ZZ being feminine and YZ's sexuality

I do not think ZZ is feminine at all because I like the feminine type of guys... He's actually pretty manly if I have to say it 
I think that everyone thinks like this because next to JY he looks pretty feminine and cute but when he is next to other guys he looks like the manly type of guy~ (well at least to me since I like the overly feminine guys that can cook and are girly and look girly because I want to protect them all the time~ but don't mind me please :'D)
That still does not have anything to do with anyone's sexuality (there are plenty of overly manly guys who come out as homosexuals)

The sexuality part:
It's just my opinion when I say that ZZ and JY are most likely bisexual because 100% heterosexual guys may freak out when they have to kiss a guy but some of them are just in denial so they may be bi or homo but not want to acknowledge it.
Another one is because ZZ and JY support LGTB but that part still does not say if they are so themselves.
Furthermore they do have explained their genderless ideal types plenty of times (but like I said only they know wht they are) but we should not just assume what they are without thinking about other possibilities because it's rude to them to go like "Omg no he needs to be hetero, omg no I won't support him when he's not homosexual)
It's hard to say if somebody is hetero, homo or bisexual and it's just me who thinks that they are bisexual

Sorry to be a wet blanket and bring this stuff up again, but i finally watched a certain video and i have to say that i am glad for this forum and being able to read posts from during that time.

I went through the whole depressing incident in the space of 3 hours... =__= I think most members would know which video i'm talking about, the one with ZZ anyways... I went from being heartbroken, disillusioned, then reassessing the whole thing and then went to the forum to check if there was any hope. I'm happy that it doesn't seem like i'm the only one with a similar idea about what was going on.. Anyways, i still feel heartbroken for them, but i guess now i have an idea of why JY drops so many hints sometimes. 

I was watching that video with JY and the ZZ phone case recently and i couldn't really be sure that JY saw the front of the case or not, but either way he put it to the front so it could be seen very clearly. Now i have an idea of why he might be doing that in such an obvious way and probably was aware of what was on it.

I don't know if the stunt was helpful for them, i hope it got them what they wanted. I feel like maybe it was a requirement from the people they are hoping to work with in the industry in order to even have a chance at anything. I also think it was mainly ZZ's team coordinating. But i don't know that it has stopped people from really associating them with each other. 

This whole thing makes me sad and also reminds me of my dad.. Lol it sounds weird, but my dad is extremely pro-china since he grew up there as a kid (but he's pretty bad even compared to anyone who actually still lives in china) and is also extremely strict. As a result we have a poor relationship. He's all for the bans, like trying to control the entertainment industry so that the actors/stars are always being monitored for negative behaviour, like no drug use, no sex scandals etc. or they'll be banned for a while at least.

It sounds crazy to me because the entertainment industry of most countries are pretty seedy. The lifestyle just invites all types of behaviour which is pretty hard to avoid. I think its unpractical and unrealistic, i know it can be done with the power of the government, as my dad likes to say, but its just kind of like.. There are more important things to worry about and exert power over in my opinion. And if there is anything china is lacking it is a bit of creativity.. I have to admit i didn't think that china produced any stars that had good original music beyond the older more traditional music, since a lot of the time they're singing covers of songs produced outside of china. I think the first time i heard a song that was produced/composed by a mainland chinese singer that i thought was actually good, that shut me up a little bit, was ZZ's song on the radio. I didn't know it was ZZ that sang it at the time, i didn't even know who ZZ was, since that was before i watched shangyin. But yeah that was ZZ. Even hong kong is really lacking in good original music now too.

I guess with enough money and a big enough population you can produce any type of person that you need, but i think some types of ingenuity and creativity that can actually make a difference, isn't so easily found.. I hope that ZZ and JY will be able to find their place in the industry and maintain it while being happy and i guess its not the most important thing compared to being happy, but i hope they'll be together. 

The last thing ZZ and JY needs is for me to politicalize anything, so if this post sounds risky to you guys, i'll be happy to edit it. But these are my thoughts after encountering that video lol..
