Hi there, welcome to the thread. ZZ has only started his career as a singer for less than 6 months so it's understandable that he is focusing on Asian countries. I am surprised myself actually that he had 2 successful concerts in ThaiLand and Korea. For a new singer like him who started as an actor with only 2 OST songs from a banned and low-budget web-series, its quite a remarkable achievement. If you search for fancams from these 2 concerts in Youtube (we have a compilation for all of his fanmeeting/concert performances on the front page of this thread), I am sure you will be moved by K-fans and T-fans. Even with language barrier, they sang along with ZZ for every single song during the whole concert. I am very happy for him. There were also lots of good reviews from K - and T - media about ZZ (if you are interested, you can also find it under translated on the front page of the thread).

And don't worry, ZZ knows he has international fans. He even mentioned in his most recent livestream 2 days ago that he did read international fan messages and said thank you. However, I think it's still too early for him to have a fan meeting in Europe. If ZZ is going to release another album and having another fanmeeting/concert tour, he will probably still focus on Asian countries (maybe adding a few more countries like Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan or Japan). I picked these because ZZ does have fanclubs (not officially but these groups have been sending gifts and went overseas to attend his concerts) from these countries. We are all here to show our love and support to the boys. Hopefully in a near future, ZZ and JY will gain more popularity overseas, not only within Asia but also US and UK.

Can anybody see this as something other than a 'confirmation' from JY?? He didn't even try to hide the picture or let go of it. How could anyone say he doesn't have some kind of relationship with ZZ when he is so freely being seen carrying a picture of ZZ. Not BLY. ZZ.

ZZ's only fans are up in arms saying that it is photo-shopped and that either CPF is once again trying to destroy the reputation of ZZ or that JY is riding on ZZ's coat-tails.

 

I find it odd that there are so many people and yet only a few photos captured this. At the same time, none of the two videos I've seen thus far (including the one posted by @mrsaturn two floors down), clearly show ZZ's photos in his folder... I am just afraid that it is fake.

Thanks @bearology! Looks more real with every photo but then it seems to originate from the same few people?. If this is true, then looks like they are getting bolder and bolder with each passing day. This would also suggest that they are serious about each other.

I don't think we have any idea what you mean by the sugar on Wednesday and about the red carpet and dinner (unless you mean that they may be staying together). Please elaborate. In fact, I am on weibo, I see or hear no rumours. You can always put a caveat if you aren't sure it it is real.

Yang Lan the MC will be shortened as YL. And Xu Wei Zhou will be shortened as ZZ. We tried to do it as fast as possible. So we summarized some questions of MC and also ZZ’s answers. We focused most on ZZ and esp. SUGAR!!!

YL: Please introduce yourself.

ZZ: Hello everyone, I’m Xu Wei Zhou

YL: Tell me about your recent schedule

ZZ: Just recently I finished my series of concerts, now I have some time to relax and enjoy myself. Today is my first day of coming back to work.

YL: With your current popularity, is there any unexpected thing happened? I mean is there any thing that happened far beyond your imagination?

ZZ: Actually I am myself is already an unexpected event. Being the first Chinese singer ever arranged a concert in Korea, and being supported from many Korean fans, I feel extremely lucky. That day, when I just arrived at the Korea airport, I got shocked when seeing so many fans waiting for me there. I really didn’t expect this. When the door open wide I was thrilled with surprise. I’m so touched by the large number of fans coming to meet me there.

 

YL: Korean fans sang with you in Chinese lyrics.

ZZ: They sang almost every song. I just sang the first line, they would accompany me singing the rest. They were really supportive, I really appreciate that. I remembered when I sang Moonlight, they all turned on their flash light and sang together with me. It moved me to tears. 

 

YL: I can imagine the burning excitement on stage at that time, your feeling of happiness, is it correct?

ZZ: Yes. Standing on the stage seeing fans earnestly support me, this completely touched to the bottom of my heart. Yet I tried my best to calm myself down, because I’m the type of person that is scared to let others know my flaw. And thus I tried to hold in, hold in those tears and didn’t let them fall out. I wanted to give them the best of me with my best performance.

 

YL: When do you think is the good time to give yourself a break?

ZZ: Actually after the concert, I didn’t do anything. I sat on the sofa falling in feel trip for 10 minutes. I didn’t know whether I was still too emotional or too excited. I just felt so relief that I just finished a super difficult task.

YL: When you were alone, what did you talk to yourself?

ZZ: That moment actually I was totally out of mind. I was sitting there and asking did I really have my own concert, did I just finish my own series of concerts. And then I reflected on my performance so far. I feel really grateful to the loads of support from fans, and also feel thankful for the people that helped me. I had the opportunity to pass my energy to you, to give you my voice, I think I’m a really lucky guy.

YL: With this feeling of fortunate, have you ever felt insecure?

ZZ: I really think that I’m a super lucky guy, and so I also feel insecure. I really want to maintain this fortune. Because despite being a young actor, a freshman, yet I get loads of support from fans, I think I have to do my best to not let them feel disappointed. Tomorrow must be better than today. 

ZZ: Actually Man Man Zou (Walk Slowly) is the song I wrote for my previous movie. This song was written based on my character point of view. 

ZZ: Actually I didn’t really get accustomed to this. I never considered myself as a celebrity. Suddenly that day comes when you are being gossiped by people around, no matter if it’s good or bad, it’s always a pressure. 

ZZ: When I read good comments of netizens, I’m really happy. They love me, love my role in the movie. But I also saw some negative comments, and I thought it’s so awkward. I thought that this person doesn’t need to like me, but how come they can say such words. Later on I decided I just need to do my best, there are people who like me, so there should be people that don’t like me. I will show them the best of mine so that they cannot say anything.

YL: When you attend Drama and Art University did your parents support you?

ZZ: They were super supportive. My parents always are supportive, if I wanna do something they never reject my desire. They think that it is best for me to do what I yearn for. I really appreciate their understanding.

ZZ: When I was in high school, I formed a music band with my friends. We were inspired by many other idol music bands, and so we just wanted to show our own burning desire, and the band was formed.

ZZ: At that time we had some performance at school. You know, for being a high school music band yet have got a chance to perform is already fortunate. Therefore, we didn’t care much about money in return. We had some performances at the bar or school event.

YL: Can you tell me the most unforgettable performance of that time?

ZZ: The most unforgettable moment to me was on February 2 2012, when I and my band organized the Shanghai High School Music Band Festival. We invited 7-8 bands from other high schools in Shanghai to perform. And we were the last band to show up. We made the impossible to be possible. And we were also mentioned on the local newspaper.

YL: You want to be recognized as singer Xu Wei Zhou or you will expand more in acting industry?

ZZ: Actually I didn’t think of how my future would be. Even when I was with my band I still thought of a stable job in the future. And I would play music with my friends after work or in my free time. But later I came to attend Beijing Drama and Art University for stage study, went on a separate road with my friends. Some of them went to the US to continue with his study in music. Some stayed in Shanghai to continue with music career. And me, went to Beijing to pursue a stage study.

ZZ：Acting and singing has something in common. They are both showing off yourself for other to see. I wish I can involve my self in both. I love the feeling on stage performance, I also love to stand in front of camera acting.

YL: Any interesting story when you went for the University test? Which type of test did you feel the most difficult?

ZZ: I didn’t officially apply for the exam. It was my friend who officially went there for the test to be accepted into the school, and he dragged me along. Unconsciously I passed the entrance exam, and the re-test exam, and final exam, and got accepted into National School of Acting. I guess it is destiny.

ZZ: I didn’t show my best in singing at that time. I have to sing 精忠报国 (Loyal dedication for the country). Because of nervousness, I started the song a little too high than normal, so I couldn’t sing till the end. The teacher said “It’s fine, I already know where you’re at.”

YL: Do you have any suggestion for your underclassmen on this acting career path?

ZZ: Actually I wanna tell them to have faith in yourself. If you really love this path, love to become an actor, to be on TV or have a chance to sing, then it is crucial to keep going on, don’t give up.

ZZ: Actually I myself have been on this path just for a short time, and I also 

have encountered many difficulties. I started as an actor, yet I had my own concert. This is also challenging right? I already finished my difficult mission. I feel so thankful to the people who always support me. If it hadn’t been for you guys, I would have never get this mission accomplised. 

ZZ: Speaking of doing concert, I also encountered many difficulties. Like when I arrived at Korea airport, I realized I lost one suitcase. And that one contained all the clothes I’d arranged to wear on stage. I was really nervous at the time because no clothes would affect the whole performance. But fortunately the next day I went to the airport to ask, and found out that because the label on suitcase was misplaced,  it got lost on the way. This issue happened right before the concert and we didn’t have any backup clothes. If we hadn’t found out this suitcase, I guess I must have been naked on stage.

YL: If you really had been naked on stage, your fans would have gone crazy.

ZZ: No no, I’m just telling joke here. If we hadn’t found out the suitcase, our brother Hao will try to find a solution. I think experience such problem is also a chance to test your adaptation. How you will react to those challenging situation. 

YL: You really love pet right? When did you start raising a cat?

ZZ: I really love little pet, especially kitty. It started when I was a child. My house used to raise a little cat. Actually that cat was picked up (which means they didn’t mean to buy it, they accidentally found it) That time my house had a little backyard. There was an old cat placed her kid in our backyard, asked us to help raise the kitty. We had raised it for 3 months and its parent came to take it back.

 

ZZ: After then I started to be captivated to cat. I think cat is an interesting creature. Even though some may say cat cannot get closed to human, they selfishly live in their own world. Yet I think cat understands human. That time I was living with my grandma, I think the cat knew that my grandma was a kind person. So it confided its child to my grandma’s care. After this incident, I started to be interested into cat.

 

YL: You know, people say ones loving dog are type of people who want to be loved. Because dog is the type of loyal and sweet animal. Whereas ones loving cat are type of people who are willing to give, generous and patient. Because cat normally does not mind you. 

ZZ: Yes. You know, cat is like, it will find the owner itself, not that we will find them and be their owner. And if it lets you touch it a little bit, it thinks it is giving you a reward.

YL: I heard that you know how to knit sweater. Can you tell me how did you learn to knit?

ZZ: This is because I lived with my grandma until I grew up, and I took after her this skill.  Actually I’m not really good at this. I just thought that this looked interesting. My grandma knitted every day, no matter whom she knitted for or whatever. She just kept knitting while she was watching TV. I was curious, this thing can be addicted? (Translator note: Shangyin! Yes! He said Shangyin!) And thus I asked her to teach me how to knit. I think knitting is a combination of patience and skillful fingers.  

YL: Do you have any finished work? Such as a scarf . Have you given anyone your knitted work?

ZZ: No, I’ve never made a complete one. When I was learning from my grandma, I tried to knit a scarf for her, but I left many holes on it. Anyway, this poor skill did help to some extent. In my previous drama, I knitted a sweater for the character. And I still left some holes in it LOL. Ah not sweater, it was a scarf.

 

ZZ: Actually, I really miss the time when I was in high school. Although I am still a college student now, but whether to be with my high school band, or with my friends in acting school of my college life, these are all the most precious memories to me. 

YL: So what’s your favorite life style?

ZZ: My ideal life style is to be free and do what I want to do. Try my best to achieve the goal I set for myself.

ZZ: The most awkward thing I’ve ever done is when I was in senior high school. One day at noon, I was taking a break on the playground with my friends. But suddenly a soccer ball was rolling towards me, and there were girls surrounding, so I just wanted to show off, kicking harder and in a more handsome way. But unfortunately, my foot crashed on the ground, and three of my toes became comminuted fracture. (LMAO!!!!)

YL: I think you’re so cute. 

ZZ: If I release my new album and if it’s possible for me, I’ll go to Harbin for propaganda.

ZZ: Usually I play basketball and go to gym to relax myself. 

YL: I know that you are really talented in many hobbies such as playing game, playing guitar and Latin dance. So what do you do to kill time? Playing game or guitar?

ZZ: Of course I play online game, because I am same as an ordinary young man. I normally find my friends, my teammates to play together.  

ZZ: I just saw a question, let me say something to fans abroad. (Translator note: ZZ said his phone is running out of battery.) Actually, I really want to say, I love you. Too many words but I summarize them to one word love! I know you guys are in abroad and the only way to know about me is from the Internet. ZZ: I don’t know whether I have works to do or not on Mid Autumn Festival. If I do, then I will call my family and give them wishes. Actually, they understand and support me, even though I cannot spend much time staying with them, but they said they just need to know I am healthy and living a happy life. Ok. The following are what I read and heard. Why I shared was because I read in few posts how people read and believe that JY wants to stop associating with addicted and etc and because of wed sugar overload, I decided that I should share these with you then on the next day, although I kind of regretted it but since I promised so here goes.

Not sure how many of you heard of this but it was rumoured that JY went to few of his fansite admins and told them not to badmouth ZZ. This, resulted in few of JY fansite closure or changing of new admin. And also JY not being able to get the support for Ah Li Planet Voting, almost all the votes are by CPFs. They said because of this, his photobook wasnt selling well (the purple and yellow ones) but I believe the reason could be because the contents are the same.

It is only on wed I start to believe that the one on JY going to his fans could really be true, I mean we all know what 6 and 2 represents.... and why suddenly JY decided to use it? It seems to be that JY doesnt care anymore, (my personal opinion).

This is not the first time that JY only fans close down their fansite or quit as fan. There were two other incidents that fans became cpf or quit being fans.

The first incident was requested not to talk about again but I found out that not many people know about it so I felt no harm sharing with you all.

1. Airport Incident - I cant rem the date, whether it is april 3rd or march 4th. and this was requested not to be mentioned at all. So what happened was, JY just arrived at airport and after that, they saw ZZ in his car. JY also requested the fans not to upload the video and photos.

2. Hotel incident - Cant rem the date again sorry but some ZZ fans found out about ZZ hotel stay and went to the hotel and wait for him, they waited quite some time but instead of seeing ZZ, they saw JY walking out of the hotel. 

Both incidents resulted in fans becoming cpf or leaving the fandom.
 

And thanks @skeletonworks for correcting the date about CJD,

And just earlier weibo was reporting about ZZ will be walking the red carpet but JY not walking the red carpet. Both of them will attend the dinner. And it was obvious JY was showing the folder with ZZ picture on purpose. There are videos showing it. If it is true, then it explains why JY wrote 6 and 2, ZZ singing walk slowly, saying he likes eggyolk mooncake (this could be normal but he laughed after that so it means he knows that cpf will link this to addicted's 12 eggyolk mooncake!) All these is like hinting to us that something is gonna happen (which is tonight 's dinner if it is true!) (Btw did you guys really didnt read about this!?!? It now makes me like I am spreading false infomation! It was all over the weibo!!!!)

I just hope nobody come killing me after this since the rule is not to share about the two incidents especially the airport incident. C'mon! I am sure some people here knows this!

@mrsaturn Many of us here don't have access to weibo. And even if we did, we would need translations for most of it. Even translations for Google translate quite often  We rely on kind souls, like you, who not only have access, but understanding as well, to let us know what's going on. Everybody gets on the thread at different times, so if it is not being talked about here, it's just a good chance that others who have seen it just haven't had a chance to post. Not sure how many of you heard of this but it was rumoured that JY went to few of his fansite admins and told them not to badmouth ZZ. This, resulted in few of JY fansite closure or changing of new admin. And also JY not being able to get the support for Ah Li Planet Voting, almost all the votes are by CPFs. They said because of this, his photobook wasnt selling well (the purple and yellow ones) but I believe the reason could be because the contents are the same.

It is only on wed I start to believe that the one on JY going to his fans could really be true, I mean we all know what 6 and 2 represents.... and why suddenly JY decided to use it? It seems to be that JY doesnt care anymore, (my personal opinion).

This is not the first time that JY only fans close down their fansite or quit as fan. There were two other incidents that fans became cpf or quit being fans.

The first incident was requested not to talk about again but I found out that not many people know about it so I felt no harm sharing with you all.

1. Airport Incident - I cant rem the date, whether it is april 3rd or march 4th. and this was requested not to be mentioned at all. So what happened was, JY just arrived at airport and after that, they saw ZZ in his car. JY also requested the fans not to upload the video and photos.

2. Hotel incident - Cant rem the date again sorry but some ZZ fans found out about ZZ hotel stay and went to the hotel and wait for him, they waited quite some time but instead of seeing ZZ, they saw JY walking out of the hotel. 

Both incidents resulted in fans becoming cpf or leaving the fandom.

And just earlier weibo was reporting about ZZ will be walking the red carpet but JY not walking the red carpet. Both of them will attend the dinner. And it was obvious JY was showing the folder with ZZ picture on purpose. There are videos showing it. If it is true, then it explains why JY wrote 6 and 2, ZZ singing walk slowly, saying he likes eggyolk mooncake (this could be normal but he laughed after that so it means he knows that cpf will link this to addicted's 12 eggyolk mooncake!) All these is like hinting to us that something is gonna happen (which is tonight 's dinner if it is true!) (Btw did you guys really didnt read about this!?!? It now makes me like I am spreading false infomation! It was all over the weibo!!!!)

I just hope nobody come killing me after this since the rule is not to share about the two incidents especially the airport incident. C'mon! I am sure some people here knows this!

I heard from @jlt4ever that the purple one is sold out. The yellow one is almost sold out too  So no worries there.

By the way, she is at the Bazaar charity gala dinner tonight!!! I made her promise to give a fan account

@mrsaturn, she can't confirmed yet. Not in the stadium and no one has seen ZZ. Anyway she is not pinning her hopes too high.

Btw, if she is there...she should have heard about the rumour since it was reported from a fan who was also there...
