iKON’s B.I Says He Has Never Dated in His Life on “Happy Together”

iKON members B.I and Bobby join the hosts of “Happy Together” for a special episode on December 24 honoring all the singles celebrating Christmas alone this year.

On the episode, the hosts ask B.I to introduce himself, and he describes himself as “B.I who’s been single for 20 years.” Jun Hyun Moo and Yoo Jae Suk question whether he can really have been single his whole life, but B.I insists that he has.

“You’ve never dated, not even once?” asks Yoo Jae Suk. B.I again says no, and the hosts keep pressing him, asking if he’s ever kissed anyone or had a “some” relationship, which refers to the romantic feelings shared between two people before they begin to officially date.

B.I replies that he’s never even had a “some” relationship. “But when you’re living the life of a trainee, doesn’t that happen between people?” asks Yoo Jae Suk.

“Unfortunately, girls and guys are separated when they’re trainees at my company,” explains B.I. The hosts ask guest Sandara Park, who is B.I’s label mate at YG Entertainment, to confirm whether or not this is true.

“I don’t know him well enough,” says Sandara Park. “But you do know!” insists B.I very politely, which makes Sandara Park laugh at the formal way he addresses her.

The group then moves on to Bobby, who says, “I’ve been single for four years.” The hosts are excited that he hasn’t been single all his life, and ask him how many girlfriends he’s had. “Two,” he replies with a smile.

Yoo Jae Suk then says that he recently learned that B.I and Bobby had written the lyrics for his favorite iKON song, “My Type.” He leads the group as they sing the chorus, which makes B.I and Bobby grin happily.
